Correct your mistakes

Your soul’s purpose right now is to be open and accountable for your behaviour toward everyone by practicing the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Quickly admit your errors and seek to correct them to the best of your ability without causing further harm to others. Ask your Higher Self for support with this process as you apologise, ask for forgiveness, and make amends. Take action to reverse any damage you’ve done, and mean what you say. Then learn from your experience and let it go, because your karma will be complete.

I think that the final step in this process is important to remember – let it go and don’t carry it around with you – it is tiresome – a waste of energy. We all make mistakes it is important to rectify those errors but also not to continually keep beating yourself up.

The first day of December is a number seven day (1+12+2010= 7). This is the second reflective day of the week. Take time to consider your mistakes and seek to resolve them. Wouldn’t it be nice to clear the Karmic calendar in the run up to the end of 2010.

Astrologically speaking the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Sadge offer a vibrant playground. Mercury moves into Capricorn and snuggles up passionately with Venus in Scorpio. These are harmonious alignments which offer a delightful ambience. This energy stretches from our personal to our business worlds. Embrace the day with the support of the heavens.

Forgive and forget

Your soul’s purpose right now is to develop the self-esteem and self love you must first have to feel and accept help from others. No one can give you these qualities, and no-one can keep them from you either.

Forgive and forget all of those who have hurt you in the past and made you doubt your “lovability”. Realise that hurt and disappointment are part of the human experience. No matter how painful, the real injury was not that someone didn’t cherish you, but that you erroneously believed you didn’t deserve to be loved.

The scales are tipped in favour for this advancement in our soul’s evolution. The Libran moon speaks volumes in justice and fair play. She is now in the seventh house of relationships which is an ideal placement for releasing the past and disentanglement of taunts upon our soul.

A number eight day is the business related space to seek and achieve a higher perspective. The inner sanctum is now searching for a deeper and more profound direction.

It’s not easy to forgive and forget – I know this; I’ve experienced this lesson time and time again. Once you put this ideal into practice and choose to release the bonds of regret it is liberating and empowering.

Seek hidden treasures

Your soul’s purpose right now is to take a deeper look at the present situation and overcome the tendency to judge too quickly and miss what’s really true. Beyond the surface of life lies hidden treasure.

So true, isn’t it? There is always a gem buried deep beneath the daily castings of experience and interactions. I am grateful for every lesson and opportunity to grow.

I had a great weekend – what about you? It is important to have your soul nurtured on those two days at the end of a demanding working week. Now we must get back into the vibe of our sixth house of daily commitments.

There is no better Moon sign than Virgo to re-motivate the work ethic and dedication to our rituals.

A number seven day offers a reflective feel to the day. This opportunity highlights the blessings in our life.

Start excavating for those hidden treasures and have a fabulous day!

Detach from Drama

Your soul’s purpose right now is to recognise, respect and then detach from these chain of events called drama. Accept that you don’t have influence over them, but you do have control over how you respond. The more detached you are, the more peaceful your soul can be.

This is one soul lesson I’ve been working on for years. It’s interesting how differently people view your non-action or non-reaction. Some people have commented that I am a placid push over. Others are surprised when I take up the gauntlet on matters of importance because in their opinion I am sanguine and unflappable.

In this life as an incarnated Scorpio I’ve experienced a gambit of emotions. At times I’ve not deal with them appropriately (from my perspective) and on review have vowed to display them differently in the future. They are lessons and that’s all they are!

Sometimes emotional reaction sneaks up on us and engulfs the situation. It surprises you; pounces on your self-judgement and other times you shrug off the ripples of emotionality with a “so what?”

Some people thrive on drama. I think that some sections of the media exploit drama. Other reporters are dignified and professional. A number six day is the perfect time to refine your responses to the drama around you. Don’t buy in – take a step out and send love and peace to that person or situation.

The Moon in her discerning phase of Virgo has no intention of getting involved in the drama. She insists that we don’t get all messed up over a situation that has no relevance to our happiness.

The Sun in Sadge gallops off into a new horizon – a new chapter – don’t block my exit route to the paddock of “I don’t care!”

Have a brilliant Sunday and live in harmony with one another.

Face your shadow

Your soul’s purpose right now is to take responsibility for the pain and misery that it’s inflicting upon you and others. Your Higher Self is present to keep you from denying your shadow and to help you confront it head on. Whether it’s showing itself in selfishness, jealousy, aggression, abuse, suspicion, insensitivity or manipulation, your shadow is wreaking havoc in your life.

Hands up on anyone who has see/felt their shadow side? I know I have. Own it Girl. While I recognise it and own it I don’t like to linger for too long on the dark side of my personae. I think that is healthy to be aware but not to dwell there for too long.

The moon in flamboyant Leo won’t allow the darkness dim the colours of your soul for too long. Put on your most radiant aura and share your brilliance with the world.

A number five day suggests changing the channel on the old love songs that tear your heart apart. Seek the inspiration of a new tune and dance to the beat of your own drum.

Grieve your losses

Your soul’s purpose right now is to grieve your mistakes fully so that you can learn from the resultant losses.

This is not an easy one for me. I’m not really into grieving. Well, most of the time I analyse and compartmentalise my emotions. As a Scorpio one of my soul’s lessons is to allow grief and loss direct transformation in my life.

For example I had a conversation with a friend last night about a desired outcome in a significant relationship. She wants this relationship to be everlasting (don’t we all?). My advice was to simply live and love in the moment. I know that this is not really want she wanted to hear.

Through my relationships I’ve learned that no matter how much we crave the relationship to be sustainable and everlasting there is still the potential for change in both or either party.

When this change happens one or either person decides to move on. Quite often I intuitively detect this disengagement and begin the grieving process for the loss of the idealistic outcome.

I believe that more often than not the grieving process begins before the official ending has been announced.

Unfortunately for most of my intimate and close associations that I enter into the relationship with idealistic expectations and when I feel that the connection has been broken then the disappointment and recovery process begins.

If the damage cannot be repaired with communication and or re-dedication then I bring this relationship to a close by weighing up my emotional investment. Calculating? Yes I suppose so. Do I work with a full complement of Julia? Maybe – maybe not?

So have I got off track here? Sorry? Now you know why grieving my losses are difficult .

The Moon in Leo is showy and glowy – love that gold rush into the weekend. Give it all you’ve got – Friday. This is a fantastic shinny transition into the weekend so fly with the golden eagle, My Friends.

Before you take off though – check your engines and make sure your seat belts are fastened with the number four day. It is a good day for planning – even if it is just for the weekend events calendar. Prepare for a great time – I am!

Laugh at your demons

Your soul’s purpose right now is to restrain your critical ego and return to the love of your Higher Self. Be aware of every aspect of your life in which you feel stuck and recognise this as only appearance. All things will be solved in time.

It’s not easy to laugh at your demons – to chase away the insecurity of irrational thought and behaviour. I have shared this experience with you although as I grow older and wiser I become more courageous.

The Moon in Cancer focuses on the home and family. We are one month away from Christmas. This is a difficult time of year for a lot of people with major concerns around money, family and commitments collide. Sometimes we get this balance right and come away feeling confident that we have maintained a positive outcome in all areas and other times, not so confident.

Our family has changed the focus of gift giving toward the children. Instead we are making time for each other and giving gifts to children and grandchildren. I feel good about this decision. Instead of a gift with a price tag we are going to give the gift of love.

A number three day encourages communication and short journeys. It’s a good day to make decisions or at least have discussions that will lead into life changes.

On that note, today is a positive mark to consider a strategy to overcome your demons.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

All things in moderation

Your soul’s purpose right now is to follow disciplines that serve your growth, not stifle it. It’s important to exercise self-control, not to be self-denying to the point it robs all the sweetness from your life... or to be so indulgent that your excesses sicken you.

This is the perfect reminder for our soul as we head into the holiday season. From my experience we push ourselves to the point of exhaustion or we become so inactive it seems too far to recovery.

I own this statement and declare that I have to get out of my head and on to my feet. I have fallen into the bad habit of propping up my tiredness with calories instead of movement.

The Moon in her natal house of Cancer is a nurturing transition into the weekend. The Sun in Sadge adds the philosophical flair and encourages us to spread out wings.

An 11/2 day is the Master number to encourage you to move out of your comfort zone and seek a partner who will support you on the next phase of your journey. Ask a friend for support or seek a coach to take you from the excess into a state of moderation.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Revive the dormant

Your soul’s purpose right now is to separate what is dead from the dormant. Bury the deceased and don’t look back with sentimental regret. Then give the inactive all you have in order to revive. It does not matter if it is your art, relationships or health.

I think that this is an important concept for us to consider. This morning as I came out of sleep and flicked on the TV I saw the Backstreet Boys performing for an American TV Awards. It was fantastic to see these guys doing what they love best. Obviously they had revived the dormant dreams of the past.

Their appearance reminded me of the people who put their dreams on hold or to one side to do other things in life. This happens of course – responsibilities with family or other priorities take centre stage and our dreams end up behind the curtain.

My suggestion today is not to give them your full attention but take them out and revive them with one breath at a time. Commit or re-establish the connection to your dreams and or make the decision to let them go. Try not to given the would or should aspects of your life any energy as this robs you on the joy of the moment.

If you are serious about making your dreams come true then make that commitment to reviving them under these positive cosmic influences of the Gemini Moon and the Sagittarius Sun. These two celestial mates are the perfect stage to revive your dreams.

It is a 10/1 day which is the numerological time stamp to end what is no longer working for you and make a fresh start on your new phase. Remember the full moon yesterday – this was a time of resolution and completion. Today is a new day – revive your dreams and put your foot forward in the perfect direction of your destiny.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Be patient

Are present conditions in your life seemingly working against you? Do you find that certain blocked desires or goals are causing you to feel angry and making you want to lash out?

Your soul’s purpose right now is to view all obstacles as indications that you must refine your intentions and efforts and start anew. Rather than lash out at others, ask yourself where you’re forcing your desires before they’re fully developed. Where are you leaping before you look?

This is a wise standpoint for all of us to consider. I know that from a lot of people’s perspective it’s very difficult to be patient when you want things to happen in your life.

In the meantime, enjoy each and every day and strive to be the best person you can be. Relish the simplest pleasures and don’t be afraid to connect with nature as your playground.

Yesterday I flew up from Canberra and while I travelled through the air I was reading a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer, “Excuses, no more”. The trip flew (pardon the pun) as I immersed myself in the intellectual suggestions.

In previous flights I have found myself clock watching – calculating the minutes left in the trip and planning my to do list when I arrived. Being patient and focusing on the present is a gift to us.

Today the Moon is full in Gemini at 3:42am AEST. This event brings the end to the Scorpio Sun phase and announces the Sagittarius month in the Sun.

Speaking of Sun, where is he? Here in Brisbane I’ve woken up to dark skies and rain. I thought that this was the Sunny State.

After our arrival at the apartment I opened up my suitcase and started to unpack. We ventured out to get some supplies for breakfast and find somewhere to eat for dinner. Mission accomplished.

Today we are all setting up the first stage of the course in this State. It should be great fun and lots of knowledge sharing. I am looking forward to the experience – one day at a time.

I’ve decided to explore the City and surrounds. I will get some maps and brochures today and take myself out of my comfort zone. These are all Sagittarian influences. It’s time for fun and adventure – let’s go!

Look forward

Are you being over critical of your past mistakes? Do you think that no matter how hard you try, you’re never doing well enough?

Your soul’s purpose right now is to dismantle this sabotaging voice of your ego and see it for the false self that it is. In truth, you’re a magnificent spirit here on earth that’s come to learn and express your unlimited Divinity.

Looking back in regret doesn’t serve your soul’s growth in any way. No matter what unfolds in your spiritual classroom, you’re discovering exactly what you need to learn in your way and on your own schedule. This isn’t to say that you don’t make mistakes. Of course you do, because that’s how you gain knowledge – that’s the point of the classroom.

Sonia (http://www.soniachoquette.com/ ) is a beautiful spirit and what she is telling us here is not only necessary for our growth but life enhancing. If we continue to dwell in the past it is not healthy and we are doing a dis-service to our soul.

Tomorrow morning 3:42am the Moon is full in Taurus. It is a perfect moment to resolve or bring closure to negative thoughts and or behaviours. It is a time to give thanks for the lessons learned and prepare to embrace for the new.

It is a number eight day and I can feel the equilibrium of the day wash over me. I love the number eight and especially number eight days. It is a time for me to relish the divine energy and comfort in the journey between the two circles. I hope you love this day too!

Yesterday was hectic and yet brilliant day for me. I raced out of my home at 10am and visited one of my favourite places on the planet. My hairdresser is the best – I adore her and love to have time with her alone in her salon. She tries to make appointments so that we can enjoy each other’s company and just hang out together. I love the feeling of leaving her magic cauldron with my refreshed style.

After that fabulous appointment I came home and had a quick bite to eat and went to my favourite Libran’s house. We had a girlie afternoon filled with discussions on astrology, health, maintainence for our minds, body and soul. We talked about books and people and touched briefly on future prospects. I was in my glory and in total awe of her generosity. The time we spent together was indescribable and soul nourishing.

This afternoon I fly to Brisbane for two weeks. It is a work assignment and I am really looking forward to meeting new people and enjoying new opportunities and experiences.

As I close this entry today I am considering the lessons learned that will come to a close at the Full Moon tomorrow morning. What about you? Are there any doors that need to be closed?

Have a magical Sunday!

Reach for the stars

The message is clear: You’re an instrument of Divine creativity and are being called upon to live up to your true heritage.

You soul’s purpose right now is to fully claim your unlimited potential by directing your thoughts ad emotions solely toward your highest dreams.

I love this message – don’t you? I think that it is important for all of us to reach for the stars – no matter which star; whatever the destination. And don’t give up till you get there!

As I shuffled the cards this morning I asked for an inspirational message. I know that each message holds a special key to unlock secret caverns within our soul but today I needed something to give me a boost. So I wanted a note to say, whatever is happening right now is not the destination – what is now – is not necessarily the future. And I got it!

Yesterday afternoon I rang my Novated leasing company to confirm the status of my account. Being doing that I felt confident that the account was stable and in good order. I have been monitoring this account since its inception and was just checking in to see if that all was running smoothly – as I had expected. That being said, I had been adjusting payments – adding more and more funds to make it work but the last phone call I had with them was a pleasing experience as I was assured it was all in order.

I was flawed to hear that the account had slipped into a negative state. I was shocked that I had to make urgent arrangements to bring the account up to date by investing another $400 on top of my newly adjusted payments. And I had to do this now! I can assure you that this chapter is not over!

I mentioned this situation today as a way of demonstrating that life doesn’t always flow how we have designed, planned or even budgeted for and while the disappointment, rage and anger surged within me I had to stay focused on the ultimate goal. I will keep a close eye on this mis-management. Just one more question: so why am I paying a management fee?

The Moon in Taurus brings the practical and grounding to the tidal wave of emotions –whew thank goodness.

A number seven day offers reflection and an inward journey litmus test. Consider what is happening and why?

A high note to close this journal entry today, I saw Harry Potter last night. It was great to be able to loose myself in the imagination and creativity of a genius. Then I related the messages unfolding in the film – good versus evil – wrong doing opposing the fight for truth and justice. And I got it – don’t give up until you reach the stars!

I know that JK Rowling did not give up reaching for the stars and now we are all benefactors in her mural of mystery and magic.

What will you discover when you reach for the stars?

Have faith

Do you feel that you are singled out unfairly while others are given preferential treatment? Do you wonder why your dreams are blocked while some who are less deserving (in your eyes) appear to be succeeding with relative ease? Do you struggle to keep the faith when it seems that fate, not your efforts decide things?

Take a deep breath and let your emotions regroup. You’re presently learning that on a soul level, justice is operating at all times, even when life appears to be no more than the luck of the draw.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to broaden your view and accept that all things happen for an important spiritual reason, which you may not always fully understand. No matter what appears on the surface, or however unjust or unfair life seems to be, trust that Divine Justice is operating at all times.

Jupiter turned direct in Pisces on 17 November. This planet is the benefactor of the solar system. Not only that, it is the celestial influence for hope and faith.

My view is that there is a fresh perspective or more energy channelled positively to us when a planet is direct. This influx of hope faith and growth is good for us. Jupiter is about buoyancy – rising above “reality of now and seeing what could be!”

The Moon in Taurus is a comfort to the intensity of the Scorpio Sun. The Full Moon in Taurus will take place on Monday 22 November at 3:27 am AEST (http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm ). This will herald the end of the Scorpio Sun phase and the cross over into Sagittarius at which time the Moon will move into Gemini. Hence, it is all happening on a cosmic way at that time.

Anyway, back to today and the numerological influence is a number six. The focused energy of the six will stabilise the erratic feel of yesterday.

How was your day yesterday? Did you feel the craziness? Well I did! It was hectic and somewhat tiresome. Today is a brand new day and a time to bring order out of that chaos.

Have faith!

Address your addictions

Do I have to?

Part of the human struggle is to rise above our addictions and live with a free and unlimited spirit.

Your soul’s purpose is to temper everything in your lower nature and live free of compulsive needs. Seek to be guided by your Higher Self.

A number five day has a crazy chaotic feel to it. The unstable energy creates action and moving toward a new destination. Or if you have been complacent in your life a number five will shake you out of the doldrums.

There is nothing complacent about an Aries Moon. Aries is a fire sign and Scorpio is water. While they are at two ends of the spectrum and water will extinguish fire they have a lot of similarities. For example, these two signs share the same ruler – although Scorpio take it one step further and engages with Pluto on the path to transformation.

Today Aries rules the emotions and Scorpio influences our identity. So there could be a clash however I would like to suggest that we consider this combination as the segue to address our addictions and move out of their hold on our happiness.

Bust out of you cocoon

Can you sense that one phase of your life is ending and a new one is beginning? Do you feel that you’re on the verge of exciting new possibilities but aren’t sure where they’ll come from? Does it seem that your life as you know it is crumbling before your eyes? You are not imagining things, nor are you in danger. You’re simply breaking free from past karma and releasing your spirit to a greater tomorrow.

Your soul’s purpose right now, like a butterfly finding its way of its cocoon, is to shed the past and soar to new heights. You’re on the threshold of spreading your spiritual wings in brand-new directions of understanding, and embracing your full potential. This is a very exciting time, and well worth preparing for.

A number four day is not necessarily a busting out kind of day although there is nothing wrong with putting the effort in to lay the formwork for the path ahead.

The Moon moves into the mover and groovier sign of Aries. A word of caution though, while it is tempting to bust out under this alignment it is best to take it slow and steady.

Until tomorrow -

Peace, Love and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Take the lead

Allow your optimism to carry you past the dreary scene of the moment - keeping you on track with your soul’s path and pulling others out of the shadows and back to the centre as well.

Today the Sun and Jupiter are enjoying a harmonious hug. This is a beautiful alignment for us mere mortals. The benefit of this love fest is that we find the courage to step outside our comfort zone. Be courageous and take the lead.

Tomorrow Venus turns direct in Libra. Talk about a love fest? This movement ensures awareness rising for example, what have you learned while she has been spinning backwards? She is in Libra until 1 December and then she stokes up the fires of passion in Scorpio until January 2011 – yum, yum. Of course the greatest love of is inside yourself so where are you on that scale?

The sun is shinning on this spring morning. It is a lovely start to the day. The rain has been nourishing for the earth and plants but has clouded us with a somewhat dowdy disposition. The golden rays beam into my room and kiss the crystals hanging from the ceiling. My room is now filled with rainbows – how magical on this Tuesday.

The Moon in Pisces has a romantic feel to the day. Pisces softens the intensity of the Scorpio Sun. The planets are lining up to take you from normalness to sensational. So what are you waiting for? Step up and take the lead – bask in the glory of the cosmic brilliance.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Rejuvenate

Are you feeling burned out? Are you asking too much of yourself and not leaving time for rejuvenation? Are you strangling your inner child and judging it as irresponsible or untrustworthy? Have you been envious of people who seem to be enjoying life while you slave away/

Your soul’s purpose right now is to reenergise and reinvigorate your spirit with a vacation, recreation and unstructured time. The well is empty, the garden is overplanted, and the bank account is depleted - time to renew. Simply put, all work and no play makes you one burned-out sad soul.

It’s my wedding anniversary today! My husband brought me a lovely pearl and diamond drop. It is gorgeous and I appreciate this demonstration of love.

I believe that we need to rejuvenate our love from time to time. Take a moment to thank our partner, mother, father and even our boss for their love, support in our lives. We are fortunate to have such a helping circle of influence.

The Moon in Pisces offers a romantic feel to the day. Pisces is such an intuitive soul they know how easy it is to really connect with people on a soul level. Find your inner romantic today with the help of this intuitive phase.

It’s an 11/2 day – this mater number offers engagement with all partnerships and a playground for soul lessons. Be courageous with your heart and allow the force of the Universe to surge through you and create the magnificence and the power of love.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Speak up

In what area (or with whom) are always agitated, yet deny or hide your anger? Your soul is stoking up the fire on your passive-aggressive behaviours to burn off the patterns that keep you from speaking up and directly letting others know how you feel.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to be authentic in your communication by first reconciling conflicts between your head and your heart.

Take responsibility for your emotions and heed what they are trying to convey, rather than “stuffing” them with intellectual control. Recognise the difference between new feelings that provide valuable insight and information for creating direct and open communication and old defensive patterns that cut off communication. Stop the battle between your heard and your heart and allow your ego and your spirit to become friends. Working together, they’ll guide you toward peaceful relationships with others, especially when disagreements exist. Share your objections without attack or defence, but don’t edit or water down your feelings in any way.

The Moon moves from our eleventh house of friends and associations (networking) to our twelfth house (unconscious motivations). She is now in Pisces which is highly compatible with the Scorpio Sun. Actually I have two wonderful colleagues who are Pisceans and they are delightful. We all get along famously like one big watery family.

I adore Pisceans (well I love something about almost every sign) for their gentleness and emotive ways – they are perceptive and willing to jump in and lend a hand. I have so many wonderful colleagues it is difficult to choose favs from the crowd.

This weekend we went on a retreat to one of our most treasured places in Australia. This historic locale holds a huge appeal. This little spot on the map is called, Baker’s Swamp. It was named after one of my ancestors Daniel Isaac Baker who along with his son George Moses Baker built the first school in the region. Sir Henry Parkes awarded Daniel and George the honour naming the little region after these two generous and talented men. The school still stands as a memorial to the hard work and dedication to these hardworking pioneers.

One of the inroads of this tiny locale is a property called, Banderra http://www.banderra.com.au/ . This comfy little retreat offers farm stay experience. This time I was fortunate enough to be able to pat and feed a one week old lamb – this was one of the highlights. This delicate little creatures is such a wonderful tiny beast and this epitomised the joy and delight of this weekend retreat.

I can assure you that lammie have no hesitation in speaking up when she is hungry – do you?

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Re-evaluate your priorities

Your soul’s purpose right now is to temper your enthusiasm for your superficial desires and put aside all thoughts of personal comfort and gain for the time being.

Over the past few years my priority was to secure a fantastic career that validated my credentials. My goal was to “add value” and work and thrive in a harmonious environment.

Now I am so happy and content in my work place so much so I have to constantly pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. I feel I have arrived at the summit. I am not saying that there are days that challenge me because there are – of course. But I love the challenges. Also, in those challenging moments I am listened to, respected and heard.

My career experience has moved out of the playground with the tattle tailing and white anting to a more dignified and adult region of the academy.

Do you know how good it is to work alongside of people who take the time to smile and say hello even though they are totally engrossed in their heavy workload? Priceless! I am so blessed! It is even better than I expected or dreamed.

One of the greatest gifts of this environment is our leader an incredible woman. She constantly demonstrates her admiration and respect for us. I guess it goes without say that she is the main reason for the successful and happy work environment. Thank you for being a great woman and inspiration for us all!

Anyway, enough of the where I have arrived in my career path. My priority is shifting to my health and well-being. I am on a weekend retreat and my focus is to get back to me and my health. I have taken myself out of my natural environment to re-evaluate what is important to me in my life. I hope you can find the time to do that too!

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Make no judgements

Your soul purpose right now is to refrain from being self righteous and judging others. Don’t see anyone as wrong – simply because they don’t share your point of view.

The Aquarian Moon is an excellent phase to encourage us to starting practising detachment. Aquarians are renowned for this ability as they are able to cut the strings on emotional attachments effectively.

I don’t see anything wrong with that – I think that we can all learn from each other. We all have individual gifts to offer the world.

A number eight day suggests we strive for balance. It is a good business day so there is an opportunity to find a balance between work and life. I am taking some time off today to retreat to a familiar and healing nirvana.

So my friends, I will be talking to you from the outer reaches of Baker’s Swamp.

Have a great Friday – PS make no judgements.

Love, Peace and harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Accept what is!

Right now your soul is helping you realise that the only way you can create the success you dream of in the physical world is by first mastering your inner world. The more disciplined you are in your responses, the more you’ll achieve.

Begin by accepting life as it comes and not wasting time trying to control it. When you take charge of your negative emotional reactions, you’ll begin to tap into your true Divine power. Trying to control the external world is as futile as trying to control the ocean.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to respond in a grounded, nonreactive manner to what life deals you, and take nothing personally – good or bad. Instead focus on what you want to create in all circumstances.

The Sun is in Scorpio so the focus will be on sex, death and other people’s money – shall I mention “taxes?”

By the way, has anyone received their tax refund yet? I did. And for the first time in many years I actually got a refund – does that mean I have to accept what is? Okay then – I will! Thank you very much Mr. Taxman. Also this is a time when people who owe you money will pay up – so that will be nice just before the Christmas spending, now wouldn’t it?

The Moon in Capricorn is in the counting house – counting all the money. Remember Capricorn rules the sixth house of career and public profile. It should not be forgotten that Pluto is currently residing in the earthy house of Capricorn so there could be lots of changes in that department.

Today is Remembrance Day – a day when we stop and honour our men/women who sacrificed their lives to keep this country safe from tyranny and or enemy occupation.

It is also a number seven day of reflection. This is a perfect phase on the numerological cycle for quiet reflection with your higher self with gratitude and peace. On that note, I will close for today’s journal entry with a message: “We will remember them.”

Love your soul – not your role

I love this one, don’t you?

Oh! My goodness these messages just keep getting better and better!

Do you feel as though life has pigeonholed you in certain roles, such as “mother”, “father”, “boss” – or even “failure” – leaving you prejudged and limited? All of your present struggles in relationships can be attributed to some type of role-playing that’s interfering with your spirit and blocking positive understanding and cooperation.

Your soul’s purpose is to connect with others on an authentic and equal soul-to-soul basis – a shared Divine spirit – no matter what your “official” duties may be.

One of the courses I delivered in the early days of Adult Education was, “Life Experience Counts.” In this course we addressed the myth that, “I’m just a …” It was a great course and a fantastic door opening for lots of people who had been living under the belief that I can’t move forward in my life because I’m just a…

If you hear yourself saying this statement then take a note and inventory on what your soul desires. Finally if you want to be a writer/singer/actor anything that brings your soul alive then boldly make that statement to yourself and then begin to bring it into the world. I started announcing that I was a writer and look where I am now: www.jestacom.biz/newsite

The storm that grabbed the ACT and shook it to its core has passed – for now. This morning I was impressed with the glittering orb in my window lighting up my bedroom and bringing a golden hue to my room. I am in love with life - so blessed and grateful for my existence.

It’s a number six day so take responsibility for your soul evolution. What makes you happy? Do it! What makes you laugh? Watch it or listen to it! What makes you fly – be it!

The Moon in Capricorn adds seriousness to our emotions. This moon phase is perfect for stocktaking your emotional realm and being mindful of your intention. Today I am wearing a new outfit to work. I am going in with a little swagger – feeling proud to be a woman and feeling good in the body that carries the clothes. Add something special to your appearance that makes you feel good. You deserve to be the best you can be – have fun with it today.

Do what you love

Are you eager to find the “real you” and don’t know where to start? Are you ready to love, but don’t hae anyone to commit to? Are you willing to plunge into your soul’s journey but can’t find the diving board? Are you wondering where the spirit pot of gold is? Well, get ready to find it!

Your soul’s purpose right now is to simply do what you love. Everything is going awry in your life is due to your drifting too far away, and it’s time to get back on track. Shake off the dreariness and long-suffering attitude of the five-sensory world of duty and sacrifice, and prepare to love your life once again. Your soul is being called to help you get what you desire more than ever. If you follow this call, you’ll attract everything else that you seek as well.

This is a concept that I share with lots of people who come to me for readings. They usually respond with a yeah but I have to... I understand – I really do!

WE all have commitments and responsibilities that we must fulfil but that doesn’t mean we are tied to those attachments forever.

I suggest that you invest in your passion part-time until the full time option is available. I once read about a postman who was wrote something like eight novels while working in that job. Once the books became well circulated he stopped being a postman and lived the dream of being a full time author.

Make space for your creative and passionate desires – invest some energy in them daily – the results could be astounding.

A number five day is a turnstiles day – allow yourself to go with the flow and don’t hold back – toss the agenda in the air and let the Universe take you to your next signpost.

The Moon in Capricorn is more measured and considered that the randomness of the Sagittarian phase. The sea goat is the planner and organiser of the zodiac. My question is, can you really plan and organise your emotions? It would be like, “okay you lot get over here – yes you – in a row – line up and now I will deal with you one by one.” I guess that would be unrealistic, now wouldn’t it?

Keep in mind though that the Moon rules how we social as well as our emotions so perhaps we can tidy up the schedule on the fraternising front?

While you are at it – delve into your passionate pool and paddle around in doing what you love!

Make necessary sacrifices

Short term sacrifices for long term gain. What are you prepared to give up? The goal is to… what are you prepared to do to reach that goal?

Is your heart set on a particular goal or desire, yet you hesitate to commit for fear of what’s required for success? Are you wishing for more in some part of your life, yet you’re unwilling to change anything to make room for something new? Are you seeking the prospect of greater interest in and involvement with others, yet resit upsetting your comfortable routines? If so, take notice that you are standing at an important junction in your life, one where your spiritual adolescent faces your spiritual adult.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to sacrifice short term conveniences for longer-term gains. For every step you take forward toward your heart’s desire, you must step away from the comfortable routine of the moment.

The Moon has moved into philosophical Sadge. The passion and intensity of the Scorpio Moon has shifted into a liberated space of the centaur.

How has Venus retrograde manifested for you? Are you feeling as you are walking in wet cement? Or is it all coming together and you feel as if life is moving ahead in a sweet Venusian pace? Venus turns direct at nearly 28 degrees Libra on 17 November and remains in that sign until 1 December. How will that impact on you? Remember Venus represents love and money. Are those two aspects of your life in perfect harmony?

I guess the big news is that Jupiter is now direct in Pisces so it is a deluge of opportunity especially for water signs: Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio. Bring it on!

A number four day always brings order out of chaos. Although, I must admit I don’t have much chaos in my life right now. The perpetual juggling act seems to be working fine and life, love and career are motoring along at a dignified pace. I know I am one of the lucky ones. Strange though, the harder I work; the luckier I become.

What are you prepared to sacrifice to be lucky?

Strengthen your gifts

Don’t you love this one? The best way to live a magically empowered life is to become a clear channel for your Higher Self and the Divine Holy Spirit of Life. Are you a conduit or one that hosts the muck and debris of the world?

Your soul’s purpose right now is to sweep away all mental debris, confusion, and psychic clutter that are preventing you from being a receptive, clear channel for your Higher Self and Divine Spirit.

Take an honest inventory of all that clogs your spirit and prevents Divinity from flowing through you, and then find the discipline and courage to remove those blocks.

How did we all enjoy the New Moon yesterday? The energy was superb. In Canberra the skies were dark and foreboding and yet I kept focussing on the tiny slither of blue sky that poked through from beyond the darkness.

There is no darkness with a number three day – it’s all go; go; go! It is fast moving with communication, intellectual gymnastics and short journeys. To add to this numerological Millennium Falcon there is a fantastic shunt from Uranus. Take notes and make sure you have conversations that will further your intention (or your New Moon Belief Statement from yesterday) with your circle of influence.

The Universe offers us a chess board of opportunities. At times we are meant to reflect, ponder or even reconsider our progress. Today however it is all systems go! Make sure your inner dialogue relates to your path of intention.

Reflect on your truth

What do you want? Do some deep soul-searching. Your spirit is asking you to proclaim what you stand for, so don’t waffle and dance around your truth. What do you believe in and serve on a daily basis? What dominates your thoughts, emotions, and imagination? What’s your mission and why?

Scorpio is the detective of the zodiac. This investigation into your subconscious is necessary for your growth. Don’t leave any rock or belief unturned.

Today this New Moon in Scorpio offers a potent reminder of our inner drives and opportunity to re-calibrate our intention. Fine tune the inner motivation and become the most balanced and brilliant incredible you!

It’s a master number 11/2 day. This stage in the numerological cycle depicts awareness of lessons learned and acknowledgement of collaboration with this learning process. Don’t delay with the internal processing as tomorrow the numbers tick over and the number three day ushers in change at hyper speed.

Don’t forget your New Moon wish list (http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm ) although I have realigned my thinking to renaming this activity as a New Moon Belief Statement.

I adopted this shift in perception after reading Yasmin Boland’s column – Cosmic Girl in the Sunday Telegraph last weekend. In this article she quoted Oprah as saying: “What you believe has more power than what you wish or hope for: you become what you believe.”

So be it and harm to none.

Have a magical New Moon.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Don’t push the envelope

Do you fee pressured, impatient, and ready for the next step to get to the future your dream of? Are you eager for Higher Direction and wish that the Universe would get going on your schedule because it’s too slow for you? Are you waiting expectantly for things to get better? If so, relax, because the future begins now.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to fully embrace your creative power in the moment and stop your brain from making you crazy. Stop believing that today is less important, less exciting, or less attractive than the elusive future. The present lays the groundwork for the days to come, and only by completely grasping it can you set the stage for bright new opportunities.

Fully embrace the creative power in the moment and stop over analysing the moment.

This is a concept I have a lot of trouble with. My brain is constantly engaging in minor details or futuristic meanderings. This is dangerous because I loose the passion in the moment. If we put our happiness of into the future then we loose the joy of now

The Moon into Scorpio mirrors the current sun phase. There is a lot of intensity around at the moment but this energy can be channelled into positive outcomes.

It’s a 10/1 day so endings and beginings are in play. What do you want to come to an end? Where to from here, Dear?

Ask with sincerity

The Universe is available to assist you only if you have the state of mind and spirit to receive direction. It will guide you, but it won’t agree with you – so before you ask for insight, you must be sincere in wanting answers.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to be receptive to what the Universe has to offer. Are you prepared to listen to Higher Direction even if it means a change of plans – or do you simply want the Universe to agree with you and make the world do things your way? It it’s the latter; you’re wasting your time.

This is an excellent card to draw when we are so close to the New Moon. Think about what you want- and be sincere with your intention. Energy is attracts energy – so if you ask with a positive affirmation e.g. “I now give thanks that I am…” then the Universe will meet you at that level. I guess the only consideration here is to be careful what you ask for and be open to the changes that may come because of that request.

The Moon in Libra is a cordial and balanced visitation. She is meeting up with grumpy old Saturn today so there may be a little chilly atmosphere at the rendezvous. Saturn is not interested in the pleasantries – his end goal is to excavate for the truth of the matter. So the skies may be a little sobering today. Try not to allow it to impact on your day.

It’s a number nine day of conclusion and resolution. Nine is a powerful number and brings a cycle to a close. Has it been a good cycle? Or have you had more potholes than a city street? Today is the time to count your blessings for the opportunity to advance your soul lessons. And ultimately prepare for the endings and beginnings on the horizon.

Accept what is dying

This stage in our soul evolution does not sound very positive, does it? However it is the cycle of life and of evolution and growth. Dying does not have to be literal of course. Dying can be metaphoric in the sense that it purely represents change.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to sacrifice short term conveniences for longer term gains. For ever step you take forward toward your heart’s desire, you must step away from the comfortable routine of the moment.

Listen to your wise self. What words come out when you feel emotional or exasperated? Does your dialogue sound like, “I am sick of this!” Or, do you hear yourself saying, “I’m so over this or that!? These are indicators from your subconscious to direct you toward releasing the frustration or the outworn. I have often called them a litmus test to the soul.

These indicators may seem more prominent right now while Venus is retrograde. She has reversed in Scorpio and will retrograde back into Libra on November 9. Then she will begin her forward motion on November 18. This Venusian pull may take you to a place of contemplation and realisation that something needs to be shed or changed in your life.

Saturday 6 November is the New Moon in Scorpio. This is a fertile celestial occurrence where you can re-write your beliefs. I would suggest that you accept what is dying and release it to the Universe with love.

Today the Moon is in Libra. This seventh sign of the zodiac is ruled by Venus – planet of love and money. This is a phase of glamour and beauty with special consideration to your financial situation. Do you have enough money to maintain your wellbeing? Or are you spending your money on items with a short term gratification ticket instead of focusing on long term goals/security/benefits? In this phase we tend to buy luxury items and then have buyers regret later on so be cautious about the need to spend.

It’s a number eight day of business and professional focus. It is also a good day to seek and attain a balance in your life. Awareness is a creator of change – denial is the destruction. Where would you prefer to be today?

Be open to love

I was driving to work this morning and the Beatles song, “All you need is love” came on the radio. I thought, yes that says it all now doesn’t it? So be it!

Our soul purpose is to learn by entering into intimate relationships. Surrender control, and open your heart to the lessons of love. Ignore second hand opinions and warnings of others to play it safe, and give in to intimacy.

Intimacy covers a large part of relationship aspects. For example, intimacy is the art of being honest in a relationship – sharing your thoughts and feelings and then of course, your actions/reactions. For me being open is being honest. It takes courage and a willingness to overcome our fear of rejection or you’re taking the relationship to a new level. Once you have found that perfect place of intimacy, there is no going back (and who would want to?).

The Moon in Virgo is a place of discretion and discernment. In this lunar phase she is measured, kind and gentle. Virgo is ruled by Mercury the planet of communications so the emotional connect is based on communication and trust. Remember the Moon rules our emotions and how we socialise.

The Moon in our chart guides us to our beacon of emotional and social fulfilment. We can focus on this silver orb while uncovering our secret emotional cavern. Your moon sign is the indicator or source of how you can relate your feelings or a vessel to express your emotions. For example, if your Moon is in Aries then if you are not happy with something in your life or if you become frustrated then exercise or movement is a good place to debrief. I believe that the Moon is just as important for us to acknowledge as our Sun sign.

It’s a number seven day and the energy of this number is to facilitate an inward journey rather that expression. Contemplation and consideration works on number seven days. Perhaps it is time to do a spot check on your soul’s purpose and ask the question: Am I open to love or am I just dabbling at the water’s edge?

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers
