Alchemy

Saturday 2 April 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Aries

You have the Midas touch right now, and every project you begin turns to gold.

You’re on a roll at this time, with the energy of heightened success surrounding you and your endeavours. You instantly manifest your thoughts and ideas now, so choose them carefully! Just as you’re capable of manifesting masterpieces right now, you’re also able to manifest problems. But the good news is that you can also undo any manifestation that you’re unhappy about.

Al alchemist is someone who turns base metal into precious gold or sliver. You have the ability to take ordinary projects and make them come alive with meaning, blessings, and abundance for everyone involved.

Your gratitude for your God-given manifestation power, and also the joy you feel in response to the beautiful creations that stem fro it, are keys to amplifying your creative abilities. Affirm frequently: “Thank you for helping me focus my thoughts completely on joy and the desire to be connected to Divine love. I am so grateful that all of my needs are carefully addressed – instantly.”

The Moon is in her most enigmatic and fiery sign of Aries today. This means that the Sun and Moon are in perfect harmony. This combination is a powerful source of energy for us here on earth. Tempers may get frayed or reactions spontaneous instead of a cool and deliberate thinking. Try to step away from the fire – watch the flames and dance through the embers but don’t take on the beast (if you can help it).

On the other side of this fire on fire energy we are inclined to brew a prevailing molten of transformational concoction. It could be intoxicating and definitely life changing just try not to drink it too fast. Sip slowly and allow the essence to infuse your soul.

It is a 10/1 day which bodes extremely well for endings and beginnings. It is time to end the old and celebrate and dance to the beat of a new tune. As I am writing this entry today I can hear the Beatles belt out – Eight Days a Week. I believe in some respects that they had the Midas touch. They came together as four individuals and were successful in transforming the psyche of an era.

What changes are you going to implement on a potent day like today?

Love, Peace and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Harlequin's Haven April 2011

Greetings Cosmic Moon Beams,

As I sit here at my computer this morning I can’t believe that I am writing for the April 2011 column.

Oh my goodness! Where has this year gone? It seems as if we are in the Millennium Falcon (after it has cranked up of course!) bumping into planets, racing through the blackness of the unknown.

So how has 2011 transpired for you so far? Have you been knocked off your feet? Are you still standing? Or are you sitting quietly in the corner pondering your next move. Sometimes I think that life is like chess game – win or loose it is a game of skill and concentration. So let’s see what the cosmos has for us in April.

First and foremost we are in the Aries sun phase. This is the official start of the astrological calendar. During this month there may be some first or at the very least new beginnings.

Aries inspires us to by dynamic, initiating, pioneering, decisive and courageous. We tend to be competitive or even hot-headed and perhaps a little selfish during this phase. So think about the impression you are making on others and walk respectfully through the Garden of Eden.

The New Moon is April 4 12: 32am 14 degrees Aries. As I mentioned earlier this is a great time to consider new beginnings. This New Moon will bring confident Jupiter snuggling up to the New Moon. Lady luck will shine on the brave and the willing (pioneering spirit remember). If you take the first step, you’ll find the world conspiring to support you on your next big adventure. A wild and wicked Mars/Uranus conjunction shows that freedom is important, so celebrate your individuality with style.

This is a fertile time to plant intentions for the future especially in relation to:
• Self focus
• Innocence and authenticity
• Self-discovery
• Independence
• Courage
• Disengaging self absorption
• Honesty
• Instincts
• Assertiveness

The Full Moon at April 18 12:43pm is 28 degrees Libra. She is in her diplomatic phase. This Full Moon will bring a new kind of peace to tense situations. Libra loves harmony above all and will fight when justice and equality are on the line. Under the light of the Libra Full Moon, negotiating compromises becomes easier. Communication planet Mercury is retrograde (moving backwards) now, giving you the opportunity to review and revise recent changes. With Mars in the mix, impulsive ideas have potential, so don’t dismiss any ideas that initially see bold.

Other significant planetary alignments in April are:

• Mercury direct, April 23
• Venus in Aries, April 22 – May 15 (hot stuff baby!)
• Mars in Aries, April 2 – May 15
• Neptune in Pisces, April 5 – August 5
• Jupiter is in Aries
• Uranus is in Aries
• Saturn is in Libra

A number four month numerologically speaking leaves with you no time to rest on your laurels. Up off the sofa and busy; busy; busy. This is an excellent month for renovating or repairing. What you have started you can finish now. Build those foundations under you plans – this is a month to get the groove happening, People!

Okay with all of these new beginnings we must remember to close the door. A ten of swords heralds a final ending of a difficult situation. The ending may be painful, but at last the situation is faced truthfully, and a new future with fewer conflicts can begin. Nice

Wolf is our animal totem for April. Have we had this totem before? I think that we have. Anyway, he came to the surface and let’s face it we can’t ignore him, can we? Wolf is the teacher. And here we are in earth school with our new month.

Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who turns the clan to teach and share medicine. Wolf takes one mate for life and is loyal like Dog. If you want to keep company with Wolf you would find an enormous sense of family in the pack, as well as a strong individualistic urge.

The message from Wolf for April is as individualistic as you are. Through your personal journey have you learned a great deal. Wolf encourages us to share our lessons with others. Your intuitive side may also have an answer or teaching for your personal use at this time. As you feel Wolf coming alive within you, you may wish to share your knowledge by writing or lecturing on information that will help others better understand their uniqueness or path in life.

It is the sharing of great truths that the consciousness of humanity will attain new heights. Wolf could also be telling you to seek lonely places that will allow you to see your teacher within. In the aloneness of a power place, devoid of other humans, you may find the true you. Look for teachings no matter where you are. Wolf would not come to you unless you requested the appearance of the tribe’s greatest teacher.

Kali is our Goddess for April. She has begun her dance in your life to tell you it is time to face your fears. All that is lurking ominously, either buried deep in your inner darkness or close by, needs to be stared in the ey or brought into the light of consciousness. Are your fears serving you by warning you about dangerous places, things or people? Or do your fears prevent you from dancing your dance, living your life, creating with Creation.

Kali comes to tell you that your dance is needed as part of the whole Dance of Creation. Wholeness is nurtured when you reclaim the pieces of yourself that you’ve given over to fear. Most fears are formless. By naming and witnessing the fear, you gain power. Wholeness is cret4ed when you learn to acknowledge your fears and walk through them.

I’ve chosen red jasper as our crystal for April. Jasper is known as the “supreme nurturer”. It supports and sustains during times of stress, and brings tranquillity and wholeness. Used in healing, it unifies all aspects fo your life. Jasper reminds people to help each other.

Jasper aligns the chakras and can be used in chakra layouts. Each colour is appropriate to a specific chakra. This stone facilitates shamanic journeys and dream recall. It provides protection and grounds energies and the body. It absorbs negative energy and cleanses and aligns the chakras and the aura. Jasper balances yin and yang and aligns the physical, emotional, and mental bodies with the etheric realm. It clears electromagnetic environmental pollution, including radiation, and aids dowsing.

Psychologically, Jasper imparts determination to all pursuits. It brings the courage to get to grips with problems, assertively, and encourages honest with yourself. It supports during necessary conflict.

Mentally, Jasper aids quick thinking and promotes organisational abilities and seeing projects through. It stimulates the imagination and transforms ideas into action.

Physically, Jasper prolongs sexual pleasure. It supports during prolonged illness or hospitalisation and reenergises the body.

Have a totally awesome and brilliant April!

Love and Peace,

Harles

Accept Heaven’s Help

Friday 1 April 2011
Sun Aries
Moon Pisces

You’ve prayed for help, so get out of the way and let Heaven help you.

You’ve asked, “What should I do next?” This card responds: “Trust that your prayers have been heard and answered. Simply rest and retreat for now. After all, you’ve prayed for Divine intervention, so step aside and let Heaven intervene, as this is the help you prayed for.”

You can assist the process initiated by your prayers through quiet contemplation. Ask Heaven to give you very clear, easily understandable guidance, let you know if you need to take any action. In the meantime, enjoy knowing your angels and guides surround you and your situation with loving care.

There could be some mischief happening today. It’s the 1st of April – April Fools Day and the fools will be out and ready to play. I’m sorry but I can’t buy into that shenanigans – I am definitely not the person to play an April Fools joke on; although, I must admit that I’ve been mildly impressed with the creativity of some stunts in previous years. It’s not as if I am a sober-sides it’s just that I don’t like people playing tricks on one another. I’d prefer it if we were nice to each other instead.

The Moon in Pisces gives a magical feel to the day. Pisceans are like the Pixies of the zodiac (although I know and love a special Leprechaun who also strikes my imagination with her creativity). I am so impressed with Pisceans and their capacity to entertain or open our eyes to the magic and wonder of their imaginary world. Consider such Pisceans as: Alan Rickman, Elizabeth Taylor, George Harrison and Bruce Willis, just to name a few.

A new month and a new numerological cycle; April is a number four month (http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm) and yet we begin this month at the end of the cycle. I would like to think that starting the month on a number nine day we step into a new period as empowered and confident beings ready to face the challenges and lessons of a new ear. If this proposal doesn’t excite you, then ask for Heaven’s help. I do!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Consult an expert

Thursday 31 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Aquarius (still)

More information is needed. Contact someone with expertise in this area.

You’re venturing into an area where other people could assist you by offering you new ideas and information, as well as the benefit of their experience. To attract the right expert to help you, affirm: “A helpful, knowledgeable, experienced person with integrity is in my life right now, and this individual will help me with my current situation. This person comes to me easily and naturally without delay.”

When this person appears, know that it’s Divinely orchestrated. Don’t hesitate or feel guilty about asking for help. Instead, take notes, and give thanks to the person and to Heaven.

Remember, it’s not a sign or weakness to ask for help. Many of Earth’s most wonderful inventions came from team efforts. By working with informed individuals, you also develop the healthy habit of consulting with your celestial guides more consistently.

The resonance of a number two day is cooperation and collaboration. It is time to be receptive. Collect that which you need. Affirm: “I have time and consideration for everyone around me. I joyfully help wherever I can, easing the load of others.”

This is the final day of March 2011. This day will not come again. We can have the same Sun phase or even the same Moon phase but today will be the only day that this day appears in our life. What are you going to do to make this day special? How will you cooperate or what will you do to support others?

The Moon in Aquarius is a positive influence for connecting with human kind and being a part of the collective unconscious. What thoughts and feelings do you want to feed into the vibrant energy currents that flow through us and around us? Are you sending out positive vibes or are you on a downer? You are a magnet and you attract the energy that you put out.

This is a Jupiter ruled day. Thursdays are special – they are abundant and filled with anticipation. If you are not on track or if you have fallen off your true path then ask for help – that is why they exist in our world.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Worthiness

Wednesday 30 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Aquarius

Know that you deserve to receive good in all ways.

You’ve been blocking your manifestations due to deep-seated beliefs that you don’t deserve. Manifestations aren’t rewards for good behaviour – they’re effects of your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and actions. When you allow yourself to receive, you help with God’s plan to demonstrate love everywhere.

Accepting Heaven’s help isn’t just about you personally; it’s about allowing yourself to be helped so that you can help others. Accept good graciously and affirm: “Thank you for gifts that have come to me now. I gratefully accept them for the good of all.”

“I open doors to new life!” This is the affirmation that fits perfectly with a number one day. It’s time to begin – be independent and bold. Be courageous and trust in the infinite wisdom to lead us and guide us into new areas of wisdom.

The Moon in “sociable and networking” Aquarius will make this a friendly mid-week milestone. The Sun in Aries is the v8 engine up our rear to push forward toward our goals. “Get motivated!” is the roar from behind? Achieve new goals and set your navigator in a new direction.

Speaking of “motivated” your resident Mermaid (me) has been hitting the gym with some determination and intensity this week. I’ve connected to my current progressed Sun sextiles progressed Mars (3rd house to the 1st house) and progressed Mars conjunct radix Sun (1st house). These transits have got me going. I am energetic in my physical and work-life spheres. As well as overcoming obstacles and discarding bad habits this energy is being channelled into my physical commitments along with work projects. The way I see it, you’ve got to grab it while it is there, right?

I am worthy - you are worthy too!

Love, Peace and Sweaty Gym Pants,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Positive energy

Tuesday 29 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Aquarius

Surround yourself with positive people and situations, avoid negativity.

Your manifestation work is going wonderfully well. By drawing this card, you’re encouraged to take the process to an even higher level by going on a “negativity diet.” This means avoiding negative influences as much as possible. Avoid negative discussions with yourself and other. Turn off television and radio programs with negative themes, and stay away from violent movies. Don’t read pessimistic headlines, and steer clear of gossip-based magazines. This negativity diet will cleanse you of any hidden blocks that could slow down the manifestation of your dreams – or prevent them from coming true at all.

Another thing you can do is to apply Feng Shui, the ancient art of placement, to your physical environs, which will help enhance the positive energy in all your surroundings. You’re also asked to donate or sell items that are cluttering your home. This helps you bring in new energy and opportunity, and will also establish an environment that promotes creativity, health and abundance.

There is a cosmic push-pull today. On one hand we are encouraged to push the boundaries of our potential and on the other end of the spectrum we are cautioned and restricted. It’s almost like you can have too much fun but don’t enjoy it okay? Very confusing? Yes, well let’s not buy into that agenda instead, infuse positive energy into any situation and we can change the outcome. I guess this is like when you fall over and skin your knew but you get up saying, “I’m alright; I’m alright!”

One a number nine day in the garden we are inclined to rest on our laurels. There is still work to be done so get up and get growing. Yes the fruit is ripe and so we must make haste with the harvest.

While working to empower yourself with the golden harvest consider these fine vines of truth. Will they bear fruit next cycle? Or do we pull them out and start again tomorrow? You chose – it’s your garden. You can describe what you want to plant the seeds. Or move the garden bed around entirely. Tomorrow is a new cycle begins and it’s entirely up to you how that garden will grow.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Blessed change

Monday 28 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Aquarius

A major life change brings you great blessings.

Although you may feel as if your life is upside down right now, everything that’s occurring is for the best. This card assures you that the changes in your life are actually helping you leave behind that which no longer serves you. Your spiritual purpose with the old situations is now complete. You’re urged to stay cantered in grace and acceptance. Keep affirming: “I welcome Divinely inspired change, and I stay cantered in the eye of the hurricane as change occurs around and within me. All change is for my highest good. I know that love is stable and always provides me and my loved ones – no matter what our outer situations appear to be.”

Change ushers in fresh opportunities to learn grow, prosper, and create new relationships. They key is to keep breathing and enjoy the changes, even if they’re intimidating. If the Universe pushes you toward new responsibilities, know that you are qualified in Heaven’s eyes.

When the Moon moves into the 11th house and Jupiter clashes with Venus there will be a blessed change. I can feel it! Can you feel it too? Is this how that famous song goes? Perhaps not but it is the rhythm of today, Monday March 28th.

The Sun is in impulsive Aries so we are all fired up and Aquarius Moon stokes the fire. Aries and Aquarius are compatible because Aquarius is an air element and of course Aries if fire. It is sustainable and one sigs relies on the other for survival. They may have their differences but once they ignite it is combustible.

Our garden has produced rip, plump numerological fruit. This ripened fruit is ready for picking. This harvest represents the lessons and decisions we’ve made over the past eight days. Are you happy with your crop? What you have planted anything different? Now is a time to consider these questions before the cycle begins again.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Break free

Sunday 27 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Capricorn

Try different experiences as a way to grow and learn.

Sometimes we get into ruts and routines because they feel safe and comfortable. By drawing this card, you’re asked to swim outside your comfort zone. It’s time to take risks and explore new ways of thinking, making a living, of being in a relationship.

When you make a commitment to explore and experiment, the world responds by giving you wonderful new experiences. Heaven isn’t necessarily asking you to settle into these new avenues, but to instead test the water and venture out. Sometimes we’ll experiment and learn new things, and then when we return to our comfortable old routines, we’re changed (for the better). This is definitely time for you to reach out and enjoy new options. Try something new today!

The Capricorn Moon offers a little caution to being over the top. Sure, as our card of the day suggests, “do something different”. It’s just that you may not feel like radical change on a larger scale. How about baby steps with calculated certainty? That would be more appropriate with this lunar influence.

A number seven day in the garden of truth is a day to sit back and rest – but not for two long. Take time to watch the buds on the stems emerge and burst with promise of a new season. The blossoms are slowly opening. The wonder and magic of revealing the brilliant outcome of your hard work is here. It’s okay to take some time to reflect and consider the commitment and diligence you’ve demonstrated.

Consider this, “are you pleased with this numerological progress in this cycle? Or would you do something different next time round?”

Interestingly, I received some feedback this week about a situation that has been manifesting behind the curtain of truth. Apparently a decision was made that has slowed down my short term progress on a project. At first I thought how childish? And then it settled in my soul and as I rationalised the situation I realised that I did not regret one single day of the past few weeks.

If this decision was made because of some secret agenda then so be it. I will wait until the perfect time to break free. And that moment My Friends is coming soon.

Have a joyful and loving Sunday. I plan too!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Treasure chest

Sun Aries
Moon Capricorn

An unforeseen windfall of new abundances comes to you now!

Your prayers for financial support have been heard, and assistance is here for you not. It comes in wonderfully unexpected ways.

Remain in the state of gratitude that says that the money is already here, even if there’s no visible evidence of it yet. When you feel grateful before the demonstration of supply occurs, it reveals your faith. And you faith is the energy that draws riches to you without delay. Affirm frequently: “Thank you for all of the support supply, abundance, and money that you bring to me. I am grateful for these riches, which I use in Divine ways to bring blessings to earth.”

Your supply may show up in the form of money, or it may come as new opportunities, brilliant ideas, or gifts from others. Bless and honour Heaven’s gifts however they come to you. Your gratitude ensures continual, overflowing abundance in your life.

The Capricorn Moon exposes a serious side to the weekend. Saturn is the ruler of this earth sign and he is a tough task master. The moon signals the sober side of the day ahead. On a positive note commitment and diligence are at the forefront of our agenda.

I am not suggesting that there won’t be any fun scheduled. What I am saying is that we will have the support of our lunar maiden to undertake tasks with absolute devotion.

Our numerological garden analogy is at the six stage today. This equates to the sense of responsibility and commitment we access to the maintenance of our living growing and now thriving masterpiece. There is always work to be done which aligns to the cosmic shifts. A number six day calls for careful tendering with love, devotion and care.

Creating abundance is topical in western society. Our lives are driven by the desire for more money. Is this a sustainable quest? Or do we come to a point where we declare, “I have everything I desire and more. What happens at this realisation point? Does it shift into the mist of nothingness and settles on some distance shore? I’m a fan of playing it forward or at least sharing the joy. What are you house rules on abundance?

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Ready, set go!

Friday 25 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Sagittarius

Happy birthday Waz!

Now is the perfect time to dive in and embrace your hearts desire!

Even though you might not feel entirely ready, this card says that there’s no better time than the present to dive into your future. You’re advices to take both big and small steps to move in the direction of your dreams.

Push aside everything unrelated to your life’s mission. Adjust your schedule so that the bulk of your time relates to your priorities and goals. Delegate tasks to other people, or hire someone to assist you. Your responsibilities will still be met, and you’ll be happier, you’ll enjoy greater self esteem, and you’ll attract more abundance in the long run – if you jump in and follow your heart.

The Moon is elementally compatible with the Sun. They are both in fire signs today. Yes, both are energetic, compulsive and highly motivated toward their desires. This doesn’t necessarily mean of course that there is a serene atmosphere in the cosmos today. These two luminaries are encouraging us to get in the groove and shake our bootie. Or at the very least, get up out of your own way. Don’t sit there stewing in resentment – be proactive and step into your higher mind – engage with the philosopher within. Don’t procrastinate – instead proliferate.

This energy is the perfect dynamic lifter for our garden. A number five day suggests changes – plants (concepts) are thriving and we are encouraged to fertilise them with positive thoughts and actions.

This is a high powered finish to the week which means we can all finish on a high note. Give it all you’ve got and spread the joy (that doesn’t equate to manure, by the way!).

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Friendship

Thursday 24 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Sagittarius

Make a date for a play day with one or more of your friends.

Although you’re busy with responsibilities, it’s important to take time out to play with one or more friends. By drawing this card, you’re urged to make a date to go have fun with a companion. Whether a new acquaintance or a beloved old friend, it’s important for you to balance your schedule with some good old-fashioned companionship and frivolity.

When you play and laugh, you open yourself to infusions of healing love. Friends help you remember how lovable you are! They also give you support without wanting anything in return.

Play stimulates creativity, which helps you return to your responsibilities with a renewed outlook and increased energy. Affirm: “I now have wonderful friends, and free time to spend engaging in playful activities with my loving companions.”

The Moon is in her philosophical and foreign affairs phase. She rests in the ninth house of Sagittarius after the deep excavation of the emotional blizzard in Scorpio. We are now able to stock take after the plutonian journey and consider the value of our recent education.

Thursday is a Jupiter ruled day so there may be a feeling of abundance or a glimpse at the grand plan. How ever you choose to spend this delightful day I hope that it is rewarding in some positive way!

Our number four day heralds a time to work in the garden. Slip on the gum boots and head for the matic and rake. Tend to your garden. Pull out the weeds of negativity. Build firm foundations for the future.

I must say that my friendships are the sold foundation of my life. They are always there when I need them and they are the unwavering structure that supports my life purpose. I hope you have the benefit of such a stable and enduring network of golden friends too.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Synchronicity

Wednesday 23 March 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Scorpio

Your prayers and questions are being answered by synchronistic events. Notice them in order to increase their flow.

As a result of all your prayers and manifestation work, you’re now attracting synchronistic events. Those “chance meetings”, information that you just happen to receive and other synchronicities are really answered prayers. By drawing this card, Heaven calls your attention to the synchronicity happening in your life. The more you notice these magical events, the more they’ll occur for you. Even better, write them down in a journal as a way to stimulate more synchronicity in your life.

You may already know that there are no coincidental occurrences. This card reflects your recent focus on positive thoughts, which are being directed toward your desires. Like a magical energy beam that can influence physical objects, your optimism and faith are reshaping your life into a masterpiece that reflects your higher self.

I adore this concept. My life has been a constant flow of messages and meanings. I am in tune with the Universe and synchronicity takes me in the direction of my dreams.

The Moon is in Scorpio. This is a powerful lunation. The Sun in Aries is on the starting blocks – ready to make it happen. Whereas the Moon offers prudence and patience as you are encouraged to delve deeper – study the facts and retreat a gem. This gem will be brilliant – a rare specimen. The jewel is borne out of wisdom and learning. For example: amethyst will represent faith; aquamarine indicates changes; sapphire – responsibility or even deeper to extract a diamond which indicates that you have achieved. There are always precious rewards for our quarry.

In our secret garden the number three phases reveals the tiny shoots of growth. We have prepared the beds; nurtured the seeds and now in this third phase the tiny shoots appear – fun isn’t it?

Consider synchronicity playing a part in your life right now. What are the messages you are being sent? Is your life a perfect flow with doors of opportunity flying open? Or are you stumped – stopped at the crossroad. Listen to your intuition –your wise self and proceed to the next turnstile.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Simplify your life

Tuesday 22 March 2011
Sun Aries
Moon Scorpio

Eliminate the clutter from you home and work life to balance the flow of activities.

Your energy has been fragmented, and it’s time for an adjustment. By drawing this card we are asked to take drastic measures to simplify our lives. This means clearing your home of unnecessary items, saying no to demands on your time, getting organised, and being more efficient with respect to your schedule.

You may feel that such a project is overwhelming. However, if you take one day a week to whittle down the clutter, you’ feel an enormous shifting of weight from your soul. This results in an energy and esteem boost that will enable you to complete the tasks at hand. Your soul and body will thank you for your simpler life!

The Moon has moved from Venus-ruled Libra into the deep and passionate sign of Scorpio.

Scorps get a bad wrap from time to time. I guess this reputation is not without foundation. There are a lot of Scorpios who maintain the dark side of this sign. On the other side there are those Scorpions who choose transformation and evolution as alchemy. They assuredly inspire others to integrate meaning and purpose into their lives.

The Sun is in Aries. Scorpio and Aries share a mutual ruler, Mars. Mars is a tough agent. He represents anger and war. Although, if this energy is channelled into a positive and productive project then he is unbeatable (if not a little impulsive).

In our numerological flower bed we are in a number two phase. This represents the relationship we have with this living, breathing representation of ourselves. We have learned a great deal with the weeding and mulching and now we need to nurture our garden. Take a step back and watch the beauty unfold. Allow the pride and gratitude rise up in your soul. Of course there is still work to be done so consider your wonderment over a coffee break.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Healing heart

Monday 21 March 2011
Sun Aries
Moon Libra

You are a powerful healer. Keep up the great work.

Deep within your heart, you’re aware of your healing abilities. Perhaps you’ve received feedback from others about the way that your words or touch have helped them heal. By drawing this card, you’re urged to take your healing work to the next level. You’re also asked to purify your diet and thoughts so that higher frequencies of healing energy can flow through you.

By opening to the next level, you’ll notice a shift in the people or situations that come to you for help. You may find the number of healing opportunities increasing, or your clients may display a greater understanding of spirituality.

Heaven wishes to support your healing work completely. If you’d like to further your education, work in a healing centre, or increase your income, just ask… and then be open to receiving.

The Moon in Libra softens the energy of the Sun into Aries. Aries is a fire sign filled with raw motivation and determination. Libra (an air element) is contemplative and gentle. This is a favourable combination when you consider the fire of Aires relies on the air of Libra to be sustainable.

I’ve decided to take our numerological quest into the garden analogy. This weekend I spent considerable time in the garden and while I was pulling out weeds and spreading mulch the alignment to our Garden of Eden became obvious. Let me explain:

Yesterday the number nine day was a day of pulling weeds and spreading bags of mulch. Today is a 10/1 day. This is the end of that cycle and the one represents the rejuvenated and yet protected phase.

The number one is indicated by the state of newness – the fresh appearance. We will continue our gardening dialogue tomorrow.

Have a great, Monday; Monday!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Time to move on

Sunday 20 March 2011
Full Moon Virgo
Sun Pisces

It’s time to let go of the old and worn out so that the new can come in.

Interestingly or shall I say, synchronically I shuffled Doreen Virtue’s deck of Magical Mermaids and Dolphins and this card came to the surface. It is interesting because this morning at 4:10am AEST we had the Full Moon in Virgo.

This is an interesting message for many reasons – yes the alignment of the Full Moon and also the signpost that we are about to begin a new journey together. Although, we must close the door behind us before a new door opens.

Our next cyber-dialogue will take place with the assistance of the Magical Mermaids and Dolphin oracle cards. Oracle cards are an ancient method to predict the future, receive guidance, and understand the truth within each situation and relationship. Doreen’s oracle cards are designed to allow you to clearly communicate with your guardian angels and the elemental kingdom.

The Magical Mermaids and Dolphins Oracle cards are specifically geared to help you manifest your desires, life purpose, and Divinely inspired dreams. These cards can help you swim into the ocean of your unconscious mind, where profound thoughts and feelings can create – or block your hearts desire. Your manifestations will appear more quickly and accurately once you discover your true, deep beliefs. I want to thank, you Dr. Virtue for your inspirational and blessed cards. Shall we proceed?

The Full Moon at 4:10am this morning is another sign that we need to release any behaviours or habits to effectively move forward.

Virgo encourages us to focus our attention on health, work and daily routines. So is there anything in those areas that is holding you back from reaching your highest potential in that space?

I am honouring this phase by clearing out my closets. I am considering what I need to relinquish to make way for the new. I am not assessing them purely on whether they are worn out or tattered but the benchmark instead is, “what shall I wear in the future or what can I give to someone else who will enjoy wearing?”

At home this weekend we are digging out weeds and mulching. These are Full Moon activities also.

These intentions align perfectly with the number nine day energy. It is a day to remove the negativity and to think of others. I gladly give away that I no longer need.

Have a magical Mermaid Day!

Act for the good of all

Saturday 19 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Virgo

I accumulate less, give more, and release my attachment to everything in the world of the 10,000 things.

True words are not beautiful; beautiful words are not true. Good men do not argue; those who argue are not good. Those who have virtue do not look for faults; those who look for faults have no virtue.

Sages do not accumulate anything but give everything to others’ having more, the more they give.

Heaven does good to all, doing no evil to anyone. The Sage imitates it, acting for the good of all, and opposing himself to no one.

This is the 81st and final verse and affirmation of the Tao Te Ching. I hope you’ve enjoyed this journey together. The Tao is considered by many scholars to be the wisest book ever written. Although it is just 81 short verses, it encourages you to change your life by literally changing the way you think.

Our journey will change directions here. I’ve thought about our next adventure into our “wise self” and suggest that we have a little fun in the next phase. What do you think? Okay I will surprise you tomorrow – The Full Moon in Virgo.

Today the Sun is in Pisces and the Moon is in Virgo. She is on the verge of fullness. This is an intense time with her vibration bursting at the seams. When she is in Virgo we mere mortals here on earth are inclined to consider the details in life rather than the bigger picture.

Saturn and Mercury are at a hard angle so negotiations could be a little serious. It is a good day to negotiate for real estate (but check the plumbing or water flow of the property). Keep in mind that Mercury goes retrograde later this month so if there are any contractual agreements to be sorted now is the time to do it!

A number eight day is a good opportunity to have a work/life balance proposal in place. It’s time to get organised and the best day to sign leases and contracts. This is a successful business day!

Enjoy your Saturn-Day!

I live in a state of radical appreciation

Friday 18 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Pisces

I live in a state of radical appreciation. I give thanks for all that I have. Paradise is wherever I am.

Imagine a small country with few people. They have weapons and do not employ them; they enjoy the labour of their hands and do not waste inventing labour saving machines.

They take death seriously and do not travel far. Since they dearly love their homes, they are not interested in travel. Although thy have boats and carriages, no on uses them.

They are content with healthy food, pleased with useful clothing, satisfied in snug homes, and protective of their way of life.

Although they live within sight of their neighbours, and crowing cocks and barking dogs can be heard across the way, they leave each other in peace why they grow old and die.

I love my life! I am gracious and giving and feel content in the moment. I have a wonderful existence and I am massively grateful for every lesson, every scar and every smile. I am in paradise.

The Moon in Virgo focuses our attention toward the sixth house of work and health. We are heading for a Full Moon this weekend. Full Moon phases signal conclusion or resolution to outstanding or key issues that may not support our progress. This is the time to consider what needs to be ended so that you can move forward in a positive direction.

The Sun is about to move into Aries and this; my Friends will motivate us to get busy. Aries is a power-packed time and we will definitely have the wind of Mars roaring at us to get up and get physical.

Enough of that energetic talk – I’m getting tired just thinking about it. I think its best to enjoy these last few days of spiritual exploration and escape in the Neptunian haze before we are included to do calisthenics all over the house.

A number seven day supports this serene intent. Meditation and titillating the senses are on offer in this sensual seven haven. Take a long walk or drive in the country. Be aware to the subtleties of nature – be open to the messages our guides and angels.

I am celebrating this lovely energy with a massage.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

I choose to preclude any future conflict

Thursday 17 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Leo

Someone must risk returning injury with kindness, or hostility will never turn to goodwill. I choose to preclude any future conflict by emanating love and kindness.

After a bitter quarrel, some resentment remains. What can one do about it? Being content with what you have is always best in the end.

Someone must risk returning injury with kindness, or hostility will never turn to goodwill; so the wise always given without expecting gratitude.

One with true virtue always seeks a way to give. One who lacks true virtue always seeks a way to get. To the giver comes the fullness of life; to the taker, just an empty hand.

This verse is a perfect mirror for the Sun and Moon combination today. Both Pisces and Leo are enigmatic and essentially lovers and not fighters. Their elements are not that compatible (Pisces is water and Leo = fire). Their intention is more serene instead of hostile or argumentative.

There is a lovely angle between Mercury and Jupiter. This is perfect for those who seek the bigger picture – stoking the potential for us to be liberal and broadminded. This is a great cosmic support to start teaching or writng a lengthy project. It is also a good day for negotiations and getting your message across. Fantastic! I am definitely going to capitalise on this one!

A number six day is adjustment time. Speaking of “adjustment”, I saw the movie, The Adjustment Bureau on the weekend. I loved it. It was fabulous. I adored the concept of the plot – love and determination overcoming all obstacles and renegotiating boundaries and beliefs. Even if the story is already written we have the power to change direction whenever we choose. Sound familiar? You have control over your destiny – make your mark today!

NB: Wisdom begins in wonder.

Love, Peace Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

I remain serene

Wednesday 16 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Leo

I remain serene in the midst of sorrow and therefore prevent evil from entering my heart.

Nothing in the world is softer and weaker than water. But for attacking the hard, the unyielding, nothing can surpass it. There is nothing like it.

The weak becomes strong; the soft surpasses the hard. In all the world, there is no one who does not know this, but no one can master the practice.

Therefore the master remains serene in the midst of sorrow; evil cannot enter his heart. Because he has given up helping, he is people’s greatest help.

True words appear paradoxical.

The 78th verse of the Tao Te Ching may seem extremely confusing. Our journey through these teachings will come to end this week. That doesn’t mean of course that our lessons are forgotten. Instead they rest like tiny particles of transformation on our evolving soul.

The Moon in Leo offers the royal segue to our emotions. The serenity is gifted to those who can hold their heads high in the chaos of our daily lives. We look to our leaders for inspiration and soak up their charisma. Rather than look in the mirror at the bravest and most regal soul – you!

A number five day has erratic and unstable energies. What has been done can be undone – what is wrong can be made right – you have the power to create a startling individualistic illusion. You have the knowledge to make the unseen a reality.

And so be it.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

The Green Back Pack - Ghan Trip - Alice Springs

Chapter: 2 – March 2011
Day III – Red Sunrise; Red Earth
My eyelets open to the red glow bursting through our panoramic window. Sunrise lingers at the horizon light years from my tiny corner of the cabin.
The earth is red and reflects an electric glow. Green shrubs poke cheekily out over the green landscape. Spinifex sprawls across the outback dominating the earth with its spiky intrusion.
In recent months rain has come to the Territory energising the earth motivating her to release the green growth from beneath her girdle. The rich iron oxide soul is a demon for producing a lush environment. Now after the rain the earth has revealed a green blanket of diverse green foliage.
It is hard to believe that anything would grow in the red foundation of this region let alone push out small trees and robust shrubs. Did someone say brekkie?
Day IV Alice Springs
After the big brekkie t cabin was packed and we were ready to disembark from the train. The other piece of insignificant luggage, “The Purple Princess” was filled with clothes and other unimportant garb. Me on the other hand carried the priceless items like cameras, laptop and the journal.
Immediately upon leaving the train we jumped on a small tour bus for the Essential Alice Springs tour (whatever that is!). I was placed in prone position while the big silver lump was hauled up the back and stuck behind some seats (right where he belongs I might add).
We took in the sights of Alice. First stop was the Reptile park then the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Museum. Mistress had a tear in her eye while watching the film – I’m thinking why cry, Girl isn’t this a good thing? Women! Go figure!
We brought a couple of postcards, book marks and made donation at the Museum. Then we were off for a feed at Bojangles.
Mistress brought some more cards etc and then we visited an historic village on the banks of the Todd River. This village was a restored outpost of the overland Telegraph Station.
We met a very interesting man. His name was Alec – a living national treasure. He is a very wise ad lovely Aboriginal man who was stolen from his Mummy when he was a baby and was raised with white folk at the Station. He had lots of great stories to tell. Mistress brought his book and he autographed it – what a nice bloke?
The best part of the Essential Alice tour was Anzac Hill. I loved that look out – it was phenomenal and so extraordinary with its panoramic views of Alice Springs and beyond. The dessert rose blossoms out there which are also the emblem of the Northern Territory flag.
Tomorrow we are off to Uluru – it’s a long ride and lots of fantastic sights to drink in. I guess we will be drunk on the nectar of Australia by the time we finish.
Catch up next month, okay?

I can keep on giving

Tuesday 15 March 2011

Moon Cancer into Leo
Sun Pisces

I keep on giving there is no end to my wealth. I am pleased to offer my surpluses to others.

The way of heaven is like drawing a bow; the high is lowered, the low is raised.

When it is surplus, it reduces; when it is deficient, it increases. The Tao of mankind is the opposite: it reduces the deficiency in order to add to the surplus. It strips the needy to serve those who have too much.

Only the one who has the Tao offers his surplus to others. What man has more than enough and gives it to the world? Only the man/woman of the Tao is aware of such benefices.

The master can keep giving because there is no end in his wealth. He acts without expectation, succeeds without taking credit, and does not think that he is better than anyone else.

The Moon is posed to move into Leo. This is the eve of the return to work here in Canberra.

Leo is a fire sign which is not all that compatible with our Piscean sun phase. Her watery Neptunian waves wash over our souls offering a mystical elixir to take us from reality into fantasy. You know that a little fantasy creates the magic for change or realignment to our true path.

Let’s face it; we’ve had a tough weekend with the power agents, Pluto and Mercury doing their darndest to extract the bitter truth from our hearts and minds. So some lunar magic will be just what the cosmic doctor prescribes.

After the deepest and painful soul excavation with Pluto and Mercury the Universe offers up some positive links to keep us grounded and moving in a forward motion. Planets such as: Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn combine in a harmonious playground to negotiate positive solutions. Everyone can will in this playground.

It’s Tuesday, the first day back after a long weekend here in Canberra. We are returning to work on a number four day. It’s time to get up early and get those chores done. “I am organised and productive!” is the motto for today.

Keep on smiling and giving the gift of you to the world.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

I choose to be strong

Monday 14 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Cancer

I choose to be strong by being soft and pliable rather than inflexible, brittle and hard.

A man is born gentle and weak; at his death he is hard and stiff. All things, including the grass and trees, are soft and pliable in life; dry and brittle in death.

Stiffness is thus a companion of death; flexibility a companion of life. An army that cannot yield will be defeated. A tree that cannot bend will crack in the wind.

The hard and stiff will be broken; the soft and supple will prevail.

The Sun and Moon are highly compatible in dreamy water signs (Cancer and Pisces). It is Monday morning – Moon Day fiesta and here in Canberra it is a holiday. So this is the perfect day is the perfect day to take in some spiritual or romantic sojourn.

Last night I had a dream. I dreamt that I was in Washington DC and was doing the tourist route. I was standing on the steps of a big white building with marble pillars and stone statues.

Hillary Clinton was coming up the stairs with an entourage of people following. I smiled at her and handed her my personal business card and said, “Hi Hillary, I am Julia and this is my card.”

She looked at me and raised one eyebrow.

I pushed on and said, “You will need to contact me in the future – we are going to work together changing the lives of millions of women and children.”

She smiled and said, “Yes I know” and took the card from my hand.

A flash of light transpired between us and we looked into each other’s eyes and we knew that it was true.

She instructed one of her aides to give me her personal business cards. She kept striding up the stairs and then looked back over her shoulder and said, “Ring me in six months – we will talk about the future.”

I don’t know when this is in the future or if it is just symbolic and or even irrelevant. But with Uranus moving into my six thought of work and health anything is likely to happen – right?

It is a number three day so let’s get moving people!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Act for the people’s benefit

Sunday 13 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Gemini

I place fewer and fewer demands upon others, and especially myself. I am free to commune with nature, work, play, read and just do nothing.

When taxes are too high, people go hungry. When the government is too intrusive, people lose their spirit.

Act for the people’s benefit; trust them, leave them alone.

An 11/2 master number day encourages you to be the light of the world for the world. You can be greatly inspiring today, or you can inspire others. Chant out loud, “I follow my inner star!”

The Moon in Gemini creates an effervescent vibe with the Sun in Pisces. This is enchanting air sign is restless, curious and energetic. Where would we be without our Gemini Moon Beams?

The Sun in Pisces is the spiritual, intuitive source. This phase of the astrological calendar lights up our 12th house of unconscious desires fears and troubles. I see this position as our hard drive – sure we store all of our unconscious data in the memory. We have the chords prepared to shift the focus and defrag the clutter from useless pockets of information and refresh.

It’s Sunday and a restful alliance looms out on the horizon. There is potential for a peaceful interlude. This moment will realign our hyper drive and recharge the battery for another stage in our adventure.

Reach out to another star and join the constellation.

Peace be with you!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

I realise that all things change

Saturday 12 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Gemini

I realise that all things change; therefore, there is nothing for me to hold on to. By not fearing death there is nothing that I cannot achieve.

If you realise that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to. If you are not afraid of dying, there is nothing you cannot achieve.

There is always a lord of death. He who takes the place of the lord of death is like one who cuts with the blade of a master carpenter. Whoever cuts with the blade of a master carpenter is sure to cut his own hands.

A chatty Gemini Moon lives the weekend’s activities. The mood is bright and breezy with an inclination to race around and have a blast. It’s time to connect with others or perhaps to reconnect with your inner must. Do something different – go somewhere new and exciting – it’s the weekend after all!

A numerological nudge aligns with the concept of today’s excerpt from the Tao Te Ching as well as the cosmic revolution (Uranus changing signs from Pisces to Aries). It is time to start a fresh cycle – do what you want to do; be what you want to be baby. Meet new people. Be active. Trust your intuition. Be ambitious. Fee your power. The affirmation for today is: “I open new doors to life!”

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Bold action in harmony

Friday 11 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Gemini

It is my intention to emulate heaven’s way by listening more, speaking less, and trusting that my awareness will come without any screaming. I slow my pace so that it will harmonise with heaven’s way.

Bold action against others leads to death. Bold action in harmony with the Tao leads to life. Both of these things sometimes benefit and sometimes injure.

It is heaven’s way to conquer without striving. It does not speak, yet it answered. It does not ask, yet it is supplied with all that it needs. It does not hurry, yet it completes everything on time.

The net of heaven catches all; its mesh is course, but nothing slips through.

Bold action is enforced by the influence of Uranus. Uranus is about to change signs tomorrow (Saturday). Uranus has been creating a gentle and yet deliberates revolution in the sign of Pisces for seven years. Now this change maker is moving into Aries – look out world!

This move will push people out of their comfort zone and into a new stage of development. I see some huge shifts taking place and for Pisces the heat is off your identity but the flame still exists in your second house of “my money”. So you may realise some innovative ways to make some cash – these ideas may flash in out of the blue.

For Aries, slap on your seatbelt and prepare the parachute you are in for the ride of your life.

I’ve just peeked at my lunar return which starts tomorrow and I have: The Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in my fifth house of romance and creativity. This month will surely percolate away in a creative bubble. The vibe is turned up a high voltage – I am really looking forward to it.

Friday is a number nine day so consider the role you play in humanity. It is a good day to clean out your closets and drawers. Give away things that you don’t use any longer. Release all that does not benefit you any longer. Use your creative talents. A great day for a public performance; close the chapter tomorrow ready to start anew especially with Uranus ready to change signs.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Jar of Jems March 2011

G’Day Jems!

Work/Life Balance – reality or myth?
Quote from Wikipedia: Work-life balance is a broad concept including proper prioritizing between "work" (career and ambition) on one hand and "life" (Health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development) on the other. Related, though broader, terms include "lifestyle balance" and "life balance".
Here we are in March. Wow – yes the third month of the year. What an interesting ride? For me, some of the most eye opening events so far in this number four year have been the around the concept of work/life balance. I would like to explore these realisations with you this month, if that is okay?

To open this March cyber-dialogue I will offer a website for you to consider: http://worklifebalance.com/worklifebalancedefined.html . This site suggests some rational explanations and some strategic steps to follow. While I agree with most of the suggestions on this website I am also very mindful of the “human element” in this philosophy. And to offer another tangent I would like to discuss, “what if you find you are out of balance then how do you regain your equilibrium?”

Over the past few weeks I have watched some amazing and talented women unravel with the pressure of work commitments. They have recognised the signs and have chosen different strategies for dealing with the overload and eventual fallout from this imbalance. Some have chosen a sabbatical and others have decided that retreat was far more civilised and appropriate for them. I honour them for recognising the signs and respecting themselves in the next important step to reclaim their spirit.

Jem, what drives us? Why do we think we should throw everything into the gullet of the beast (aka: career)? And why are we surprised when the beast chews us up and then spits us out?

I see the beast as our tormentor; our seductive aspect of our over burdened closet of responsibility. It is an effortless dance with the beast. We feel titillated by its rewards – the ego stroking accomplishments of promotion and or validation of our commitment to enter the amphitheatre.

I see myself in the eyes of these women. I see and feel their pain. I see their resistance to acknowledge their divine choice to quickstep into the claws of temptation for just one more twirl around the dance floor.

Jem, as you know I am blessed in my life. I have a balanced work/life regimen. I am determined not to dance for too long with the beast – otherwise the calluses will return. Yes, I have been seduced by the beast. I have trudged an exhausted path and forged some degree of respect. I have taken the wrong turn and driven in tireless formation around the round-a-bout a few thousand times. Now I am aware of the indicators – I can hear the click; click; click of the turn left at your peril – turn right and you will be emancipated.

If I have learned anything from my seductive partnership in the pride of erin is that timing is everything. Work/life balance exists only if we truly want it too.

Take care of you My Friend, you are loved and honoured beyond the realm of your imagination.

I look forward to your perspective,

Love always,

Jar

Dear JAR,

Greetings, my Friend! Truly, truly, Timing is Everything! For you to bring up this topic at this time is rather fortuitous, because for me this past Monday was the first day on a new job. Although I have been doing many things this past year, I was not gainfully employed, and felt rather challenged by the lack of a regular pay check. This will be an interesting transition, as now my family will have to pick up the slack and fill in the blanks of home maintenance that my former schedule used to occupy. So our balancing act must begin at home!

My new job began in a very uplifted manner. I was welcomed with open arms, and encouraged to not get stressed or overwhelmed by the amount of information that I needed to learn and process. They said the knowledge will accumulate in time. I am finding the work in this law firm to be very interesting, and it is tempting to work right through lunch. However, I remembered the vow I made to myself: to never again ignore my soul’s needs – and so I make myself go out at lunchtime and walk a mile, to get some exercise, fresh air and fresh perspective. I also take the time to eat a healthy, nutritious lunch in a relaxed and mindful manner, and consciously practice leaving the work aside for awhile. Since this job appeared to me after a long drought, I had time to reassess my priorities during that dry spell. Now it is time to put those reassessments into action.

This seems to be a time in my life when the flowers of fortune are blooming profusely. The blessings are plentiful, and the gratitude I feel is even more profuse. I spent many years behind the curtain, because I chose to be a Mom, first and foremost. I’ve always worked at little jobs, here and there, but designed my schedule so I could be there for my growing daughter. I put my personal plan in a mind-vault, to be taken out on occasion for updates, but the vision was to fully launch it at a later time. I do not regret one moment of those delightful, almost-17 years – my daughter is a wonderful human being, and I feel fulfilled knowing that she has healthy self-esteem and is wise beyond her years. Now that she will be leaving for college, my personal plan has been retrieved, washed, crisply ironed, and is now ready for the launch! The doors are opening, and I am confidently walking through.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever dreamed of being in a corporate environment – that envisioned situation actually seemed to me more of a nightmare! Whether it is true or not, to me it seemed too complex and cutthroat, and I envisioned myself feeling overwhelmed by the demands and deadlines, and also the cliques that inevitably form. The acquisition of money was never a driving force for me, as much as inner fulfilment and the desire to be acknowledged for my contributions. And in my dream those qualities would preferably be experienced in an enlightened scenario of my own design. I am grateful that I now have a good paying job in a small company, and that the boss chooses his employees on the premise that, “Anyone can learn to do the job; it’s how people get along that count!” I feel deeply blessed that my dream has come true.

It is a treasure to know that you are also in a state of blessed joy in your life ~ we can give thanks together! I am also in gratitude for our friendship, which seems to have taken on a life of its own. It is like a favoured pet that loves to be pampered, groomed, well-fed and paid special attention to! I hope this little offering brings a bit of chewing contentment to our little Pookie.  Until next time...

Happy March!

Pax,
JEM

I accept myself as I am

Thursday 10 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Taurus

My body is perfect, born at precisely the right time, and this is my perfect age. I accept myself as I am, and I surrender to the natural course of my body’s destiny.

When people lack a sense of awe, there will be disaster. When people do not fear worldly power, a greater power will arrive.

Do not limit the view of yourself. Do not despise the condition of your birth. Do not resist the natural course of your life. In this way you will never weary of this world.

Therefore, the sage knows himself but makes no show of him; loves himself but does not exalt himself. He prefers what is within to what is without.

I think that it is good to be reminded of this state of being from time to time. From my experience, we are quick to judge and even quicker to criticise our body. I try to look at it from the perspective that we must honour and respect our bodies – love them and be conscious of the fact that the body deserves the best care and compliments we can muster. After all this body is the temple to our soul.

The Moon in Taurus reminds us of the importance of our body. Taureans are very sensual and practical people. With Venus as their ruler they know how to respect on honour their bodies with luxurious pleasures.

Speaking of which, tonight is the most romantic time of this week. It is time to connect with your nearest and dearest – get connected before the Moon goes into chatty Gemini tomorrow.

A number eight day is not all work and no play by the way!

Whilst ambition stirs within you it is also time to reach out to someone less fortunate. Consider that you are the loving benevolent of the kingdom and offer some help to others. The more you prosper and grow – everyone wins.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

The secret of health

Wednesday 9 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Taurus

I trust that a happy, contented mind that is sick of being sick will have a happy, contented body.

Knowing ignorance is strength. Ignoring knowledge is sickness.

Only when we are sick of our sickness shall we cease to be sick. The sage is not sick but is sick of sickness; this is the secret of health.

Speaking of a contented body, the Moon in Taurus loves the sensuality of a contented body. Taurus is ruled by Venus planet of love, money and food. So the vibe today is calm and earthy with a touch of indulgence.

Mercury (communication and the mind) and Uranus (surprises) are in a harmonious mood too so this could be a pleasant mid-week interlude.

This is a number seven day which has a gentle and spiritual feel to it. It is time for reflection; meditation and healing. This is time to look within to find the answers. The number seven day always reveals something – so stay tuned.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

My words have an ancestor

Tuesday 8 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Aries

I want to think like God thinks, to act as God acts, to live a God realised life.

My teachings are very easy to understand and very easy to practice; yet so few in this world understand, and so few are able to practice.

My words have an ancestor; my deeds have a lord. The people have no knowledge of this; therefore they have no knowledge of me.

This is why the sage dresses plainly, even though his interior is filled with precious gems.

The Moon in Aries energies Neptune for a dreamy combination today, Neptune likes a “happy ending” and Aries is persistent with the question, “are we there yet?”

Uranus is changing from easy going Pisces and is moving into action packed Aries so there may be some moving and shaking this week. I think that we will all feel the transition of this change-maker in some respects.

A number six day suggests that we need to find our canter in this cosmic reshuffle.

Look at your responsibilities. Any need taking care of? Are you sticking your nose into other people’s business? If so, let it go and let love in.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

The one with compassion wins

Monday 7 March 2011

Sun Pisces
Moon Aries

There is no greater misfortune than feeling I have no enemy, for when I have no enemy there is no room for God.

There is a saying among soldiers; I dare not make the first move but would rather play the guest; I dare not advance an inch but would rather withdraw a foot.

This is called going forward without advancing, pushing back without using weapons.

There is not greater misfortune than feeling, “I have no enemy”; for when “I” and “enemy” exist together, there is no room left for my treasure.

Thus, when two opponents meet, the one without and enemy will surely triumph.

When armies are evenly matched, the one with compassion wins.

Show a little compassion today especially with those who do not have your best interests at heart. Think about what they are missing out on – the joy of knowing and loving you!

The Moon in Aries adds a powerful beat to the rhythm of a new week. Mondays have a bad rap – Boomtown Rats will attest to that (I don’t like Mondays: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaHAvEEbQOE ). Even the sanguine Mamas and Papas loathed Mondays because it was too far away from the next weekend escapade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h81Ojd3d2rY

My view Monday is what you make it – and if you are living the dream then it is another opportunity to stake your claim on the brilliance of your life.

The Moon in Aries imbues enthusiasm into the Monday vibe. Aries motivates us to get up; get up – get out of bed and encourages you to be a part of the thriving metropolis outside the door – get moving guys!

The numerological beat is one of ch-ch-changes. A number five day is a time to turn the box upside down and see what drops out. Promote and advertise yourself and your products. Look at the other side of life. Give something away. Sell something. It is the best day for haircuts and or surgery. You feel free today. Open the window and shout from the tallest building, “I welcome change and rejoice in the new!”

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Employ the powers of others

Sunday 6 March 2011
Moon Aries
Sun Pisces

Whatever I fight weakens me. What I cooperate with strengthens me.

A good soldier is not violent. A good fighter is not angry. Good winners do not contend. Good employers serve their workers. The best leader follows the will of the people.

All of them embody the virtue of noncompetition. This is called the virtue of noncontending. This is called employing the powers of others.

This since ancient times has been known as the ultimate unity with heaven.

For me this number four day is not that appropriate for a Sunday however the Moon in Aries supports this numerological milestone.

Back to our numerological influence – the number four day is time to work. Be organised and dependable. Clean the house – wash the car. The work you do today is organised and productive. Affirm: “I am organised and productive!”

It is Sunday the day after the New Moon in Pisces. Perhaps you are feeling a little dreamy – Neptunian and maybe a little out of step. That is okay. It is difficult to get organised and be motivated for a day like today.

Can I suggest then, that you consider your spiritual world? What is your focus here? Where do you want to be in the future? How do you connect with your spirituality? Is there a place that you need to visit to connect with? Maybe a seaside town or may a friend who inspires your spiritual growth?

Where you travel or wherever you spend you time enjoy the moment and be kind to yourself.

I live three treasures of mercy

Saturday 5 March 2011

New Moon in Pisces
Sun Pisces

I live three treasures of mercy frugality, mercy and humility in all my dealings with others.

All the world talks about my Tao with such familiarity – what folly!

The Tao is not something found at the marketplace or passed on from father to son. It is not something gained by knowing or lost by forgetting. If the Tao were like this, it would have been lost and forgotten long ago.

I have three treasures, which I hold fast and watch closely. The first is mercy. The second is frugality. The third is humility.

From mercy comes courage. From frugality comes generosity. From humility comes leadership. Now if one were bold but had no mercy, if one were broad but were not frugal, if one went ahead without humility, one would die.

Love vanquishes all attackers, it is impregnable in defence. When the heaven wants to protect someone, does it send an army? No, it protects it with love.

A number three day heralds a time of joy and expression. Today is filled with the joy of living. Look beautiful. Feel handsome. Bless everyone and everything make others smile. Let your creativity express itself freely. It’s a people day – love them all!

The new Moon in Pisces is a time to plant seeds in your twelfth house of unconscious motivations and spirituality. See: http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm.

Enjoy the Neptunian vibes – go with the flow and be at one with the world. Remember we are here to love and to express our divinity three joy and happiness.

I do not put myself above others

Friday 4 March 2011

Moon Pisces
Sun Pisces

I do not put myself above others or see myself as superior to anyone. I am like the great ocean, where all streams flow to me because I stay low, and thus, I am a servant to all.

Why is the sea king of a hundred streams? Because it lies below them. Humility gives it its power.

Therefore, those desiring a position above others must speak humbly. Thos desiring to lead must follow.

Thus it is that when a sage stands above the people, they do not feel the heaviness of his weight; and when he stands in front of the people, they do not feel hurt.

The sage stays low so the world never tires of exalting him. He remains a servant so the world never tires of making him its king.

The Moon has moved into dreamy Pisces today. Mars and Pluto are in a harmonious link. It is possible to move mountains with the support of these two change makers.

An 11/2 day offers lessons learned as well as the opportunity to teach others. It’s a Master number day and the vibration is highly attuned to the spiritual aspects of our lives. Be the light in the world for the world.

Love, Peace and Happyness,
