Trust

Of all the animals’ man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one that inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it. Mark Twain

The Moon has returned home. She has entered the fourth house of home and family. This is natal phase and she lingers here while she is preparing for her “Crone phase”.

There is a full Moon in Leo on 30th January AEST and this moon phase will signify resolution/conclusion for creative projects.

Numerologically it is a number five day of changes and surprises. This is a good day to promote and advertise you. Look at another side of life – give something away. Sell something. You feel free today.

It’s also a good day to trust your decisions. March to the beat of your own heart. Here I am world, open and receive to all good, which I accept with joy and pleasure and gratitude.

There is a prominent Saturn and Pluto link in the skies at the moment. Saturn is renowned for breaking down the established order of things and Pluto represents transformation. This alignment will impact on us all – just like the Sun and Moon affects our personalities, identities and how we represent ourselves in the world.

This Saturn and Pluto alignment has played out in my conveyance for the sale of my Coffs Harbour property. Yesterday at the last minute – right before exchange of contracts a potential problem arose and I had to negotiate and facilitate the issue with a calm and reasoned demeanour. While I feeling annoyed and darned disappointed I knew I had to be reasonable and take a diplomatic approach rather than allow my aggravation with the situation creep in.

The High Priestess exemplifies wisdom and prudence in all negotiations. She knows that the outcome will be realised it just takes time and strategic planning. The Star is the beacon of hope and trust. She knows that all will be resolved at the perfect time. Death is the end. It is over – the door is closed and a new phase waits. The dawn is a spectacle and magic lurks in the golden beams of optimism.

Magic also lurks in my kitchen. My little witch, Grizelda swings on her broomstick to the beat of her drum. This is her story.

Peace and Love,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Grizelda, the Kitchen Witch

High above the town she flies
On her broom high, high, higher
Overlooking the busy streets
Comings, goings – what a treat!

Everyone is off to work
‘Round the streets do not lurk
Work to be done
Busy busy everyone!

Exhausted, elated she returns
To gaze below and to yearn
She is a magic girl – what a whirl
Perched on high in my kitchen so bright
Eclipsed in her beauty of twilight

Her skirts of blue rise to show
An awesome and misty glow
She’s not good looking, that’s for sure
However, her eyes twinkle and that’s the lure
Overseas and back to shore
Across the lakes, rivers to my door
Her sense of fun is a joy to witness
Hair of straw writhing in bliss
Shrieking so loud compared to none
Griselda’s her name, remember everyone!
