Liberator

Light – freeing yourself and others from outmoded beliefs, releasing negative thought patterns

Shadow – imposing your own tyranny over those who claim to liberate –ignoring legitimate constraints

Ask whether you have a lifelong pattern of helping to free others from injustices, adverse economic or social conditions, or simply from their misconceptions

Can I just add at this point that having a particular archetype present is neither a good nor a bad thing? We are all difference and we all align with different/unique archetypes. While we are connected to the collective unconscious we all travel in different realms.

I believe that some inherited through our astrology and some we bring wit us through past lives – others I am sure are attracted to us over connections and others develop over time – maturity or changes in our directions. Some are like magnets attracted to our passions.

I like the concept of the liberator as it helps us to motivate ourselves from the self-inflicted tyranny of negative thought patterns and spiritual sluggishness, poor nutrition, destructive relationships, or addictive behavior.

The Sun and Moon are both in Cancer today. The co-existence of these two orbs relates to homey and comfy pursuits. Creature comforts are important to all of us there’s no place like home should be our castle and a soft place to fall and reveal all – in this cozy environment there is a little danger of comfort eating so watch those sugary treats.

Our reading this morning supports the astrological messages of our Cancerian collaboration with the moon as our first ally. The Moon is sensitive, emotional and loyal. I love her appearance in our morning readings as she reminds me of our rite of passage to our creative self.

Temperance is our beacon of inspiration. She hovers high above the chaos of our fears, emotions and damaged self esteem. Rise up and see the light of inspiration the glow is lingering just beyond the range.

The Chariot (a Cancerian ruled card) motivates us to get off our backsides and get into the world around us. How do you know you can’t do it if you don’t try? How do you know you don’t like it if you don’t give it all you’ve got?

Liberate yourself from your past afflictions and the bonds of your fears. Once you have shed the shackles of oppresion you will experience the joy of living in the now. Isn’t that why we are here?

Love, Peace and Joy of Now,

Julia Ashton-Sayers
