Begin to Explore

Are you surprised to find yourself more curious than usual? Are you suddenly desirous of and more sensual life that the one you have now? Would you like to break free of a rut, resist the ordinary and rebel against what’s kept you suppressed for what seems forever?

If so, be glad. You aren’t having a midlife crisis. Your soul is simply reigniting the fire of your true being. This sudden longing for the unknown is your soul’s way of leading you to a joyful spirit. Rather than fight these crazy impulses, surrender to them – even if they make no sense or have no specific direction.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to allow you to engage in the unknown. It will direct your return to your authentic self, so follow your spirit and try something completely out of the ordinary.

The Moon is in Virgo. In this sign she is very details oriented and perhaps a little reserved. This is a nice contrast to the “all or nothing” intense and passionate Sun fest. This Moon phase adds a degree of decorum and refinement to the sensual overload of the Scorpion Sun mood; although if I may be a little bold here – it’s time to light the fire of curiosity and romance.

Of course this does not mean you go out and tackle the first person that you see. A seduction is an art form it takes time and finesse. The cosmos is supportive or at lease encouraging a little sexual expression – be daring; be bold and go for gold!

Greetings Stellar Sistars and Brothers

It seems that the year is racing forward at warp speed, November is where whether we are ready or not! In one more month we have – you know – tis the season… It’s a little daunting when you think about it so let’s see what is in store for the coming four weeks.

We are no in Scorpio Sun phase country. This is a time of rebirth and transformation. Happy birthday Scorpios – especially to all of my soul Sistars and brothers! This is our time to shine. So throw off those shackles and get out there and boogie!

The Sun in Scorpio is an intense month. Well, Scorpios are not renowned for doing anything by halves (and who would want to – oups showing my true colours – that is right I am Scorpio too!). The positive slant on this solar return is that we have the support of the cosmos to work on the changes that are necessary for ourselves especially in the areas of empowerment, power struggles, and financial partnerships. It is a time of self-mastery. Keep in mind that Scorpios are the “psychologists of the zodiac”. Embrace this period of restoration and regeneration especially leading up to the demands of the “silly season” (did I say that – sorry – inside voice!).

The New Moon in Scorpio is 6 November at 2:51pm and it is 14 degrees Scorpio. This intense new moon in Scorpio helps you confront hidden aspects of your psyche. Depth takes on new meaning as you get a chance to see the world through the mysterious Scorpio eyes. Things aren’t quite what they seem and you won’t hesitate to find out more. Mercury links to Jupiter and Uranus helping you opens your mind and considers new possibilities. The only limit to where life takes you now is your imagination (great stuff – bring it on!). Boundaries that once seemed so impenetrable are easily overcome. Venus retrograde suggests relationships review old themes.

This New Moon is fertile for planting seeds in:

• Transformation
• Eliminating old “baggage”
• Forgiveness
• Politics
• Charisma
• Secrets
• Taking risks to gain power
• Compulsions
• Obsessions
• Intense interactions
• Strength
• Discipline
• Commitment
• Depth of Character
• Soul mates
• Deep emotional connections
• Mutual validation

See I told you it was an intense time. Think about what you want for yourself as you plant these seeds. Commitment to the new wishes with positive intent and love and finally, make sure that your intention does not harm anyone.

The 22nd November at 3:27am there is a Full Moon 30 degrees Taurus. Taurus is the opposite Scorpio. This sensual Full Moon brings balance back into what has been an intense period. Reconnect with your physical body and its needs. Delight in delicious fresh food and pamper yourself with spa, beauty or body treatments. Venus has ended her recent retrograde, and inspired by link from soulful Neptune, helps you find a new love and faith to guide you forward. The Sun aligns with Uranus and Jupiter helping you manifests a more authentic, optimistic outlook. Restlessness is high as the anticipation of new experiences help you move beyond known limits.

Other significant planetary movements are:

• Mercury in Sagittarius November 8 – December 1
• Venus retrograde into Libra November 2, direct on November 18
• Jupiter direct in Pisces November 17

November is a Master number month which gives an extra boost to the extra-sensory perception skills of the carrier. A heightened state of awareness is usually noticeable during the 11 vibration, and using this awareness can give you a substantial advantage over others in a purchase, job application or point of order.

Our Goddess for November is Psyche. She is the Greco-Roman Goddess who personifies the human soul. Granted immortality by Zeus, she is represented on ancient Greek vases as a bird with a human head. Later portraits cast her as a butterfly. In either case, she reflects the archetypal notion that the sou, the life force, is by nature ethereal or airy, capable of flying from the body at the time of physical death. Today we continue to use the word psyche to denote our noncorporeal selves.

Ever youthful and lovely, the goddess Psyche reminds us that the human soul is a thing of fragile beauty, requiring just as much nurture as the human body.

The five of swords is our next card in the tarot journey. The Five of Swords augurs the necessity of facing one’s own limits and recognising that life needs to be lived within the confines of one’s capabilities. Often there is a situation where the individual has taken on too much, and must swallow pride and back off; facing honestly what is possible before moving forward.

Our animal totem for November is Crow. There is a medicine story that tells of Crow’s fascination with her own shadow. She kept looking at it, scratching me, pecking at it, until her shadow woke up and became alive. Then Crow’s shadow ate her. Crow is Dead Crow now.

Crow is an omen of change. Crow lives in the void and has no sense of time. The Ancient Chiefs tell us that Crow sees simultaneously the three fates – past, present and future. Crow merges light and darkness, seeing both inner and outer reality.

Pause and reflect on how you see the laws of the Great Spirit in relation to the laws of humanity. Crow medicine signifies a first hand knowledge of a higher order of right and wrong that that indicated by the laws created by human culture. With Crow medicine, you speak in a powerful voice when addressing issues that for you seem out of harmony, out of balance, out of wack, or unjust.

Crow looks at the world with first one eye, and then the other-cross-eyed. In Mayan culture, cross-eyes had the priviledge and duty of looking into the future. You must put aside your fear of being a voice in the wilderness and “caw” the shots as you see them.

As you learn to allow your personal integrity to be your guide, your sense of feeling align with vanish. Your personal will can then emerge so that you ill stand in your truth. The prime path of true Crow people says to be mindful of your opinions and actions. Be willing to walk your talk, speak your truth, and know your life’s mission, and balance past, present, and future in the now. Shape shifts that old reality and become your future self. Allow the bending of physical laws to aid in creating the shape shifted world of peace.

Our crystal for the Scorpio month is Apache Tear. Scorpio’s challenge is to master power in all its manifestations. Black Obsidian is helpful in this, but only if we are prepared for the depth of psychological insight it brings, and for the darkness it releases before transformation occurs. You may find the gentler Apache tear (translucent form of Obsidian) more conducive to controlling power surges.

I have a gorgeous Apache Tear bracelet. It is very grounding but I find that when I wear it I am more subjective instead of objective in my perspective. This crystal takes me back to a place of power in that I don’t have to react to everything right then and there I absorb the intolerance or judgementalism and lead with my intellect instead of my emotions.

November is set to be a power-packed month. My philosophy is always, “forewarned is forearmed”. If I can add a little shopping advice here, Mercury goes retrograde from December 10 to December 29 so perhaps you can utilise the intensity of the Scorpio Sun phase to plan and shop before the Christmas rush.

Take care of you and be kind to yourself!

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Harles

The Green Back Pack Adventures presents - I can do it conference – August 2010

The mystical sounds of the didgeridoo summon us into the auditorium. Mistress surveys the massive room looking for the perfect seat.

“Go higher and higher” I beckon. Front and centre that is where we need to be – a perfect vantage for people like us.

Respectfully I am placed on the ground between her legs. She opens my large flaps and removes her pen and book. The page is dated as we are swept up in the throng of the didge.

The crowd starts to fill the large room. People stream in like hyperactive ants to a sugary nest. The didge goes quiet and we stand and applaud. What a performance? I was carried away and gave thanks to the original owners of this great land.

I think we are about to start – I can hardly control my flaps.

Marcia Hines takes us on a rock and roll ride into the beginning of the two day conference. Everyone is clapping and singing the energy is combustible. I am so in the moment with the movement and excitement I can hardly control myself.

Marcia gives a warm welcome to Dr. Wayne Dyer and the crowd goes wild. I am in awe of this enigmatic man and how he can hold the attention of this massive crowd in the palm of his hand.

We are all captivated by his thoughts and philosophical offerings. He is wise and gifted but massively charismatic. He is sick, you know? Instead of feeling sorry for himself he perceives this inconvenience in his body as a blessing. In short he is walking his talk.

Caroline Myss is amazing. Mistress was totally immersed in her teachings and sat there wide-eyed and gulping the concepts and perspectives like a gold fish. Carolyn suggested that we should defy gravity and shed the heavy egocentric baggage of the past. I hope that didn’t mean me?

Sonia Choquette was a vivacious diva who insisted we all get up and dances our way through life and our challenges; an interesting concept and one which Mistress fixated on. She is a sassy icon with a fresh approach to the love, peace and harmony perspective. Mistress purchased her: Soul lessons and Soul Purpose oracle cards. She also brought the CD set of “How to trust your vibes at work”. When we were at the signing of these items Sonia asked my Mistress, “Do you love your Spirit?” She replied, “I adore my Spirit!” They hugged – how mushy?

Dr. Weiss took us into a deep meditation and healing. I drifted back in time when I was first chosen by my Mistress. I was a young and naive back pack back then but now I much more wise. It seems like a life time ago as we have travelled so far; been on so many journeys and adventures. This meditation was nothing compared to my Mistress who visited a past life in the Inca incarnation. I will let her reveal that visitation to you in Julia’s Journal.

Interestingly Mistress claimed that he leg was in pain before the meditation and after it was healed – it’s a miracle!

We all floated out of the convention centre and flooded Darling Harbour with positive and empowered energy. I can guarantee that many souls were healed and lives changed this weekend. Notwithstanding these declarations of transformation the energy of the waterfront was lifted to a new ethereal and spiritual level.

My recommendation is that you attend this fantastic workshop – there is something there for everyone.

Bye for now and I will catch up with you on my next adventure – The Ghan trip through Central Australia – toot; toot!

Love and Peace (and all that mushy stuff),

Greenie

PS: Don't you love the picture of Mistress and Ms. Myss at the book signing. Apparently Caroline told Mistress that she is a Mystic - no kidding!

Tune out to distractions

Is your head filled with the voices, choices, and opinions of others? Have you lost contact with your inner guidance in the midst of listening to these people? Are you constantly wrestling with doing the right thing, fearful that you’ll make a mistake and suffer irreversible consequences – therefore hesitating to make a decision at all? If you’re tired of this struggle, then you’re making process. Your spirit is gaining strength in its quest to connect you to your authentic voice.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to recognise the voice of your Higher Self. It connects you to your deepest wisdom and t that of the Universe. It doesn’t flatter, interrupt, or coerce, not does it make you feel special in any way. It’s subtle and consistent, and tunes you in to direct communication with your soul. Only this inner guidance can lead you to what is true for you, so all other voices must go.

Have the discipline to block out the din of the external world so that you can listen to the still voice within. It can be beard, but it won’t compete with the world for your attention. You must choose to heed it, and refuse to allow your life to be run by others. Be selective about what you take in from outside yourself; only then you will find the answers you’re seeking.

Do you worry about what people think of you? I go through phases of caring and not being so concerned. In the past I’ve released the need to please and then I’ve taken a soul lesson to remind me that the opinions of others are not relevant to my soul growth and purpose. It’s that I am totally oblivious to what other people think of me its jus that I don’t want to colour my world or hamper my stride.

The Moon is in her flamboyant Leo house today. This brings a multicoloured climax to October. I connected to this lunar hue and rearranged my wardrobe. I moved the winter clothes out and moved in my spring and summer collection. It was a lovely variant of colour and gave me a fresh perspective for the seasons ahead.

I had not seen some of these vivid clothes since earlier this year so it was quite exciting and refreshing. I also unpacked the plastic storage boxes filled with sandals and light summery footwear and replaced the boots and dark flatties. I now feel ready for the new season. Don’t worry the winter collection is close by – just not at the forefront of my view.

Today is Halloween. It is believed that the curtain between worlds (earthly and spiritual) is at its most flimsy. This is the day when the can come to visit. I don’t believe that their visitation is limited to just one day. For me this curtain is wide open all year around. It is a nice holiday though and one that can be a lot of fun. I am always up for a little celebration.

It’s a number eight day – a good day for balance peace and harmony. And that my friends are what I wish for you today and everyday!

Love, Peace and Harmony (Boo),

Engage higher reason

Are you wasting time wondering how others feel about you? Are you unsure of what’s true and what is just your fear talking? Are you worked, testy, and confused – or even angry? Not to worry. You’re entering a time in your soul’s journey where your purpose is to discern fact from fiction and respond to life’s challenges in a grounded, orderly fashion. Rise above the rushing river of your emotions, and engage your reason and logic to better navigate the daunting rapids.

Your soul’s purpose right now is to be detached and respond objectively to life.

October is winding down and the month is coming to a climatic close. Cosmically speaking it’s been a hectic month. The Moon in Leo promises to give us the grand finale we’ve all been waiting for.

Leos are massively creative and hold centre stage in the cosmic auditorium. They are the actors and or the behind the scenes creators for the magic on stage. This weekend is influenced by the flamboyant Leo energy. Nice finish, don’t you think?

It’s a number seven day so reflection and meditation offer a peaceful transition into the weekend. Take time to think about your current state of play. Are you caught up in drama or are you the creator of drama? Release the need for drama and allow the subtle healing energies of the Universe envelope you with love and peace. Be reborn into a state of peace.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Love your spirit

Our soul purpose right now is to fully embrace and love your Divine spirit.

Do you love your spirit? I do! I adore my spirit. Even when I am feeling low or disappointed about something or someone I love my spirit. I love who I am right to the very core of my being. And t his love emanates out into the world. Light up your corner of the world with your spirit.

It’s a number six day so take responsibility for your spirit. It is also the day after a number five day (oh really?). A number five day is quite often erratic or the energies are frantic. So today is a great moment to harness the changes that has taken place and take a breath.

The Moon is in Cancer which offers an emotional platform for the day. Sensitivity and compassion are key indicators of a Cancerian Moon day. The Lunar Maiden loves to be nourished from the inside out so watch your sugary treats today.

It’s Friday and the week has had some powerful alignments. Be kind to yourself and take your spirit out for a shimmy. Express your Divinity!

Become a clear channel

When we draw this card it is our intuition reminding us to sweep away all mental debris, confusion; and psychic clutter that is preventing us from being a receptive and clear channel for your higher self and Divine Spirit.

The best way to live a magically empowered life is to become a clear channel for your Higher Self and the Divine Holy Spirit of Life.

Are you this conduit… or one that hosts muck and debris of the world? You can begin to clear your spiritual frequency by doing some mental housekeeping: Are you confused in areas of your life, yet still refuse to ask for help in clearing things up? Are you avoiding what seems difficult only to allow it to worsen through neglect? Are you absorbing the energies of others instead of directing your power to set and serve your own goals?

The Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Scorpio are compatible. Both of these signs are water elements. While this compatibility can create a synchronistic flow of energy it can also download a deluge of emotions. I guess you could call it an ocean of emotions.

It’s a number five day of change – today circumstances are likely to swing around at a moments notice. Five is an erratic number and if we are not on solid footing then the radical shifts can destabilise us. Be prepared to bend with the flow.

Today however I am going to be a clear channel. I intend to clear the clutter from my mind and allow the positive surge from the Universe come though.

It is difficult for me at times to just ‘be’ – it seems that I am always thinking/planning or deliberating and the mental gymnastics are exhausting. These cart wheels of thoughts can be rather hectic. Today however it is house cleaning/clearing. What about you?

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Embrace your power

Your soul purpose right now is to elevate your power to a much higher conscious level by making it clear that our selections are the means by which you create. In other worlds, poor choices lead to poor creations, while good choices generate good creations – no exceptions.

Your power lies in your thoughts and words, you create your destiny with what you think and say e.g. we always get what we ask for!

There have been times when I have begged the Universe with such outrageous pleas as, “I just want a job – just any job will do!” And guess what? I got exactly what I asked for – they weren’t bad choices – they were great teachers in all their context but they certainly were the perfect choices/outcomes for me.

After a while I got it – oups maybe I should be more selective or careful with my creations. Now I am specific with the details and also ensure that I create with the support of the cosmos and Universe.

Now I work with the planets, moon phases and numerology to give power, structure, rigor and formation to all of my desires.

It’s a number four day so make sure your choices have a solid foundation. It is time to plan and ensure that the creations are based on a strong framework. Focus on what you desire but make sure you put in the specifics e.g. the nails in the uprights. This is nearly the mid-point in our numerological cycle so let’s get grooving and embrace your power.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Shine your light

Open your heart fully and take all of the necessary risks so that your spirit shines out far and wide. Trust the gifts and talents that the Universe gave you, and commit yourself to their full development to serve both your creator and your fellow humans.

It’s my birthday today and the Sun and Moon are in my natal signs. My lunar return is preparing to move into a new phase. Personally, I feel incredibly blessed and fortunate in many ways. I feel that the Universe is shinning its light on me. Every facet of my life is glowing and shimmering with an exceptional glow that is phenomenal. I am blessed.

In Australia there is a belief that we shouldn’t shine our light into the world; that we should hide our light under a bushel. I disagree. I believe that all of us should shine our light into the world. That we all have a unique light and no matter what we do for a living we are all special in some way.

We all have something to share with the world and all have a brilliant ray of colours to light up our corner of the Universe. Shine your light and all of the brilliant colours of your rainbow. The world is a better place because you are in it.

It is a number three day of communication and short journeys. It is a good day to negotiate for that rightful place in your corner of the world. This numerological vibe is supported by the Gemini Moon.

The intensity of the Full Moon has passed and now we can begin to move in a direction that feels comfortable and right.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Retreat

Your soul purpose right now is to step away from the dissonant drain of the unconscious world and retreat into silence and meditation in order to stay connected with your higher self.

Ironically, I’ve just come back from a ten day holiday and today am the first day back at work. Intuitively I’ve chosen this card and am now confused what it all means? I can assure you that there is no retreat on my agenda today.

Although, I am confident that I will retreat during specific moments during the day e.g. when I am walking at lunch break and so on plus there will times when I will be able to retreat into silence. What about you? Will you be able to take time for you today?

The Sun and Moon are in my natal houses. So you will have the opportunity to glance at the two major influences of my life today.

There is also a Mars and Uranus link; a combination that can be electrifying. The cosmos will support the playground for lots of innovative ideas.

Mercury is conjunct Venus today and declarations of love could flood the airwaves. Mercury is now in Scorpio and Venus is retrograde in Scorpio. So some messages may be confusing (Venus will retrograde back into Libra November 9 – 18 but we will talk about that more in November).

So what does this all mean? I think that it is great days for retreats don’t you? If that is not possible then take a walk and nourish your soul in the playground of your life.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Keep your commitments

Soul purpose – grow in integrity and humility in the face of the Divine. You can no longer ignore or deny your spiritual responsibilities or pretend that you are the exception to the rules of the game of life. Above all, be fair in your dealings with others.

The Moon in Capricorn is a perfect phase to bring us down to earth. Capricorn is very driven and focused and has an internal combustion centre that is always on g – for go!

We can all log into these energies and keep our eyes on the prize at work or in our goal oriented pursuits. Wherever Capricorn is operating in our chart that is where we are inclined to keep our commitments.

For example, Capricorn is in my fifth house of creativity with my North Node and Chiron is cozy close by. So each day I keep my commitment to my journal which in turn supports my healing journey.

It’s a number nine day so there are conclusions and resolutions. Nine is the stop and check moment in the numerological cycle. Is it time to close the door on a project? If so be ready to embrace the new and exciting phase in front of you.

Whatever the reason behind your closure make sure that you honour your commitment to yourself – once you’ve given the best the feeling is liberating.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Raise your vibration

Introduce your body to a higher more positive and healthy vibration through the right focus.

Discipline your mind to focus on those energies that enable you to love your body and listen to it with patience and interest. If it’s troubled, it’s alerting you to release what no longer serves you. By letting go of old patterns, you’ll raise your vibration and enhance your physical and psychic vitality.

Recently I’ve felt a little down – tired, extremely tired – exhausted actually. This has not been an emotional feeling rather more physical. Today I want to raise my vibration – do you want to join me?

My physical pain and exhaustion has been related to some chest pains I’ve experienced. A few days ago I was pretty uptight about a situation and after coming back to my office I felt heavy and constricted in the chest. I have ignored these symptoms to a degree but this morning I am going for an ECG.

On the positive side I went to the doctors for a consultation and she told me that my recent blood test indicates that I am beneath the level of concern for diabetes! This is great news – don’t you think?

I want to share something else with you. Over the past week my hubby has been looking for some jewellery he brought to give to me for my upcoming birthday. He has been really distraught as he thought he lost it. He had been going over places and spaces and had a very sad look on his face.

Last night I asked him what was the problem and he confessed – he said he felt very defeated and really sad. So I said as we go to sleep tonight we will ask our Guides for the location of the item and I feel confident that we will find it in the morning.

During the night he dreamt that I came out in the morning flaunting the jewellery in a blue envelope. He shared this dream with me and I said I hope it is true.

In reality I came out with a little black box with the birthday gift inside. Thank you, my most brilliant Guides. Now, for you my friends and associations I trust that your vibration will be raised also.

Live life to the fullest!

Dream being and live large. Break out of your habitual self identity and routine and routine, and directly experience all that beckons in your life.

What aspects of your life are you avoiding? Where do you hold yourself back? Out of fear of the unknown or past questioning? What experiences do you wonder about, long for and envy?

Lesson: have the courage to challenge yourself and to enjoy your passions without reservation.

The sound of the traffic in the distance has woken me up from a deep morning sleep. I woke up earlier – voluntarily and had a drifted back into dream state.

I dreamt about Zoe Reynolds (Series 1-3 – Spooks) and her escape from England after persecution. In the dream, Will (boyfriend/fiancé) had found her in Chile and was pushing her down a wooden ramp on to the beach. They were both laughing and giggling and was enjoying being alive and having fun.

After getting up out of bed and tending to my morning rituals (e.g. bathroom etc) I came back to bed to write in my journal. I thought as I began to open my book, reach for the card of the day (with its message so darn obvious and I quote, “Live Life to the Fullest”. I smiled and thought yes that is what it is all about – yes we are meant to have fun and enjoy our lives. Yes we must work to pay our commitments etc but can’t we have fun too?

The Moon is in her comic phase so bring some levity and joy. It’s a number seven day of reflection – perhaps and inward journey to think about how you can inject some joy into your life. Where do you need to push away the sadness and gloom and how can you bring the sunshine in to light up your room.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Wake up call

Wake up your soul from the slumber and reconnect with your authentic self. Welcome any psychological disturbances or feelings of discontent as an indication of your soul’s awakening. Even though it may be uncomfortable now, it would be far worse to live indefinitely at your present level of existence.

Do you think that we trundle along through life disconnected from our authentic self? I do!

There have been phases where I have lived someone else’s ideal of how I should liver r I have just motored along on auto pilot without too much input into what should happen or ensuring that I align my principles to my authentic self. That has happened but it is not the state of awareness now.

Now is now and I am right in the moment – for better or worse for all of the exquisite pain – the pangs of reality are shrouded in truth of my reality. What about you?

The Moon in Sagittarius takes our emotional realm from the deep pit of emotional exploration toward a lofty mountain top. Sadge’ love freedom and travel – they also love to learn. They are constantly seeking and searching for the truth (their truth). These quests for learning are embedded in the new or ancient philosophies or even situated within their own centre – their unique belief system. Sadge moon is compatible with the Libran Sun – nice!

Today is a number six day of commitment and responsibility. Here we are again – being responsible. This is a good thing though. If a number six day did not exist we would have randomness and chaos splashed across our daily lives.

In closing, wake up call is about reconnection or being reacquainted so, knock: knock – who’s there? You, that’s who, Welcome home.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Refine your attention

Your soul’s purpose right now is to refine your attention to a higher, more focused intention so that you can use your Divine Power to create in a more effective and rewarding way.

The Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Libra are not particularly compatible galactic bedfellows. Although I adore my Libran friends and soul buds. They are refined or when out of balance they offer an abstract perspective. My ascendant is Libra so it is easy for me to swing on either side of the scales. For all of us today the Scorpio Moon is about deep excavation of your emotional world while the Sun gives us the rope and pulley to haul us out of there.

The date is an interesting one, right? 10-10-10 and to a certain extent has an ominous appeal. However in reality or numerological interpretation the day actually equates to a number five day 10-10-2010 = 5. This vibration is about changes. How did you go with the four day yesterday? Did you erect some pretty sound foundations? Today may test those structures with the unpredictable energy of the number five vibration. Hold on tight we could be in for an interesting ride.

The cosmos is pretty civilised this week. There does not seem to be too many galactic clashes or storm armed bully tactics from the grumpy planets. This forecast is quite urbane so my suggestion is that you spend your energy tending to your goals/wishes/seeds that were planted at the recent new moon. Focus your soul’s intention and where you want to go.

Before we leave the tendering process I want to share am amazing experience with you. Hubby and I went to see Cirque Mother Africa on Friday night. Wow! It was mind blowing, vivacious and totally awesome. My hands are still sore from clapping and my jaw is aching from being dropped with each nubile and extraordinary feat.

The physical ability mixed with the African musical seduction transported us to the dark and mysterious soul of Mother Africa. I was blown away. If you have the opportunities please do not let it pass you by – drag yourself to the show and you will rock out of there with a glow.

The day has begun with a dark and foreboding sky. Apollo the Sun God is muscling in with his golden beams and forces apart the potential for rain. The colour of the day is not marred by the grey appearance of the sky for there is lots to be accomplished before the clock says goodnight.

So let’s get together with our focused intention and nurture the seeds of our soul. Our garden grows beautifully when the weeds of negativity are removed. Have a brilliant Sunday!

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Happy 70th Birthday John Lennon – what is your soul purpose?

Last night I astral travelled to Iceland to connect with the light from the Imagine Peace Tower: http://imaginepeacetower.com/ I met lots of interesting people there, Yoko with John at her side, George Harrison, Roy Orbison gathering with a mystical sea of faces who came together to celebrate John’s earth years. More importantly the mission was based on honouring his soul’s purpose.

Messages of peace and love streamed through the brilliant light (even more intimate acknowledgement of his impact on my life was printed across the inky sky).

The Moon is dark and fertile. She is in the sign of Libra. What a perfect celestial moment to celebrate our modern-day prophet for peace and love. His soul’s message is a shinning example of what our true purpose of why we are here on earth. I wanted to stay forever – living and loving in the dark cocoon but I knew that it was only a dream and I had to return home.

I woke this morning to the muffled sounds of my tiler, Zigstar (that’s my nick name for him – please don’t tell him, will you?). He was shuffling pots and my café setting back onto the tiles he laid for me yesterday. This man has toiled so hard and creativity to put the finishing touches to my new sunroom and now he has created an exquisite enclave to my garden. I wondered if this was his soul’s purpose? Perhaps he too has had dreams of leaving a legacy of love and peace in the world and yet he works with his body and mind.

He is an ordinary man but one who is proud of his soul’s purpose. You can see it in his work; his attention to detail’ his dedication and the tincture of pride that flashes across his face when the work is done. I know his spirit and share the celebration of his soul’s purpose.

So, my next question is; “What is your soul purpose?” On a recent working trip to Sydney I picked up a book by Dr. hi Gang Sha called, The Power of the Soul (see: http://imaginepeacetower.com/ ). He talks about the soul and its evolution. He also suggests that our organs have a soul that must be healthy and free from negativity and disharmony. I read this book and it really created an awareness to the soul and it’s purpose.

During the same trip I attended the “I can do it!” conference : http://www.hayhouse.com One of the facilitators I really connected with was Sonia Choquette: http://www.agoodvibeaday.com/ She is energetic, fun, creative and a little sassy and most of all massively inspiring.

One of the many treasures I brought home from the conference was an autographed box set of Sonia’s Soul: Lessons and Soul Purpose Oracle cards. These 63 cards are beautifully illustrated and convey specific and direct messages aligned to your soul’s purpose.

Would you like to join me in this revolutionary journey; if you would then stand by? I would like to suggest however that you invest in your own deck so you can shuffle and take out your personal message any time.

Our card/message for today is: The Creative No! Your soul’s purpose right now is to be the true authority for your life and be absolutely clear and responsible in establishing boundaries. Recognise what your limits are and communicate in a clear and consistent way.

I guess it is not always about the yes I can do it messages. It is also important to set limits and boundaries.

On that note I will draw to a close the John Winston Lennon birthday entry in my journal and share a pledge I made upon waking in my bed this morning. I have promised myself that I will celebrate John’s 100th anniversary of his earth years in Iceland at the Imagine Peace Tower. See you there!

PS: Happy birthday Sean Lennon.

The Shaman of Foresight

Preparedness, being watchful, transcending the moment, looking ahead, interpreting signs, taking advice, acting intentionally, listening to dreams and vision

The New Moon in Libra took place at 4:44am AEST (what an amazing number sequence, don’t you think?). However it is not too late to write your wishes and be assertive with your list of what you want/require from the seventh house of relationships and interactions with society.

The Shaman of Foresight is a powerful friend/ally as he takes us through the fog of the unknown and guides us gently toward our destination.

Mercury conjuncts Saturn today in a not so friendly embrace so this is a day that could tie you up in knots with obligations in the future. There could be some serious decision made that could affect people long after the present. So please be cautious with your communication and intention today.

On the numbers side of things it is a number three day of communication and short journeys. So it could be a little crazy today.

This is where we leave our journey through the Shaman’s Oracle. During the past two months we have journeyed together through ancient wisdom and guidance. Our final guide is the Shaman of Foresight. Ask him to support you when the road is foggy and you are confused as to the direction of your next move.
Don’t forget the importance of our Archangels. Archangel Raguel reminds us of the Divine Order. Everything is how it needs to be right now, look past the illusion, and see underlying order.

Shaman of Reflections

Self-clarification, being aware of other paths, acknowledging the truth, learning to accept reality, testing the validity of challenges

The Sun and Moon in Libra hold hands and dance across the galaxy. We are at the eve of the New Moon and it is time to consider our wishes/seeds for the upcoming New Moon tomorrow see:(http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm )

This is prime time to reflect on where we are and consider our next move, clarify our intention and acknowledge the truth of where we are and where we want to go.

Creating is not always about doing. What I mean is that creating can be based on contemplation and consideration. Where am I? What do I like/not like about where I am right now? What do I need to change? How can I change it? Or do I really want to change it? And if the answer is yes I want to change it them I would suggest that you implement the GROW model.

GROW is the acronym for: Goals – Reality – Options – Way forward

What is your goal?
What is your reality?
What are your options?
What is your next step?

This sounds methodical I know but it is an excellent map or route to take you where you want to go. Of course the Shaman of Reflection is there to support us on our way forward and so is our Archangel.

Archangel Michael suggests crystal clear intentions will ensure a positive outcome. Be clear about what you desire and focus on it with unwavering strength.

Shaman of Loss

Rediscovery of forgotten truths, loss and gain, restoration, balance, coming to terms with loss, endurance, acknowledging who we are, allowing things to pass onward

A 10/1 day supports the Shaman of Loss philosophy. The idea that we must lose or release something before we can gain another is perplexing to say the least. It’s a scary concept and one which I find confusing; although I have willingly entered the valley of loss to embark upon a new phase of a cycle.

As you can see the Shaman of Loss represents restoration and balance we while we are releasing or giving up we are also rejuvenating or repairing, don’t you think?

Yesterday at work we had to move desks/spaces which included bookcases, cabinets and sundry electronic equipment. I wore comfy shoes and was completely in the moment – I went for it – full steam ahead. By the time I got home last night I was sore, aching, in agony and feeling grateful for all of the exercise and the opportunity to move to a new space.

Last night I ran an Epsom salts bath with Lavender and Fragonia and soaked my aching muscles while embarking on a watery healing meditation. During this time I relinquished or released the pain in my body for a transition to a healing alcove. This morning I feel relaxed and reborn.

While in my healing space I asked my Angels to come through. Archangel Raphael appealed to my requested and offered: give me your cares and worries and allow us to take over your burdens. So be it!

Hunter of Paths

Finding the way, looking for ways to reach your goals, progressing wisely, being mindful of wrong turnings, discovering short cuts, making decisions, discernment

What is this? My goodness its wake up time and it is still dark. Yes, that’s right, daylight savings time is here. O guess the important thing to remember is that we are saving time. We are saving the daylight for later – like at night time. I can dig that.

The Moon is in Virgo and she adds an air of discernment to our day. Last night I was speaking to my brother about discernment and taking the wrong path. We both agreed that being in the wrong place at the wrong time was extremely uncomfortable.

We had both experienced an awareness of that with our previous jobs. In the past we felt the darkness of negativity, uncomfortable workplace relations and a feeling of loss of self. Eventually we were both miserable.

I offered that these feelings of disassociation from our true path were indicators for a change – the destination wasn’t right and even through we had pursued the roles for all the right reasons we realised that the experiences was damaging to our souls.

Fortunately we had each other to share our misery as well as engaging our personal cheer squad which motivated us to move on. More than that we had people who loved us and wanted us to be happy – especially on the cold dark mornings when we trudged up the wrong path.

Now we jump up to face the day with enthusiasm in our hearts and motivation in our feet. We love what we do and are validated in our jobs – mostly it is because we are on the right path. Lesson: if it doesn’t feel right then don’t do it!

A number nine day offers the playground to be open for resolution. It’s usually the ah-ah moment in the numerological cycle. WE have gone round the hurdy-gurdey and what have we learned? We are reading to disembark and prepare for a new ride in the morning. For now it’s about lessons learned and ticking boxes. Like: did we have fun? Were we as good as we can be? Did we honour ourselves and our journey? Ad what do we need to learn to ensure a wise and satisfied soul?

Mercury and Pluto are not friends today so be careful when your communicating with others today. Wise move – don’t put your foot in it or more appropriately your tongue.

In preparing for the right path Archangel Jeremiel suggests that we take inventory of our life. And resolve to change or heal anything that is unbalanced. That should work!

Hunter of Mysteries

Inner truth, deep awareness, change, restoration, inner power, access to spirit, engaging energy, perception removed, connection to all life, spiritual alliances

The Hunter of Mysteries stands in the shadows but prepares to emerge into the light where he will guide us on our path. In following his lead we enter into a state that is timeless, spaceless, unformed. By exploring we dig within ourselves we give form to our thoughts, our aims and our actions.

Question: what will I do tomorrow when I have to hit the ground running and be organised and ready early? I’ve had a relaxing and somewhat lazy weekend and I fear that it will come to an end. For now, I am relishing the sublime indulgence of taking time for granted, tomorrow will be another story.

The Moon in Leo is a creative surge to our long weekend. She is poised to interact in dignified dialogue with Libra. By the way, how did the Mercury and Uranus bout play out for you yesterday? Mine was brilliant. I loved the electrically charged day and plugged right into the socket for a fantastic zap.

We had friends over for dinner last night sot he conversation was fun and ventured out of bounds. It was spontaneous and mind altering with rich concepts that took us into unknown quarries. Our excavation tools laid to rest I feel that I have engaged the Hunter of Mysteries, hold his hand and he will navigate some unfathomable worm holes of the Universe.

A number eight day taps us on the shoulder and says, “It’s okay to delve deeply into the great mysteries of the Universe but you have to come back to earth and seek a balance between work and rest. I acknowledge the prompt however I insist that the resting is the ideal for this holiday Monday morning.

All rest and no work is an abomination. Take time to recoil from the world of obligation and responsibility. Tend to your needs and ask Archangel Metatron to assist you to open your chakras using sacred geometric shapes. Or, meditate and connect with the Divine Dialogue of the Universe.

Tomorrow is work and focus – accomplishments and task oriented and fulfilling roles. Enjoy today and capture the healing energies of self care.

Hunter of Honour

Appropriate behaviour, honouring the world around you, celebrating differences, praising and accepting praise, finding honourable means, honesty and respect

Honour underpins much of our life, even when we are unaware of it. To be honoured, to act honourably, and to honour others – these are key motivations in whatever journey we undertake. The Hunter of Honour reminds us to appreciate the world that supports us, the life we have been allowed to create for ourselves, and the loved ones who contribute to our well-being. We must honour places, people and things, accepting them for what they are and acknowledging the effect they have upon us in every aspect of living. To success in this is to strengthen and celebrate every essence of our being.

It is ironic that the Hunter of Honour has appeared today. Last night I skyped with my best and dearest friend in the world. We met 13 years ago at a time when I had experienced a major traumatic event in my life. I had been through a violent armed hold up in my workplace. I was traumatised and yet felt courageous enough to find love. I found love but it wasn’t the love I thought I would find. Instead of the romantic love that lured me thousands of miles from home I found a deep and enduring golden friendship.

Over the yeas we have nurtured and maintained this friendship. We have shared births, deaths and marriages. We have consoled one another support one another and this chord has remained strong with tiny fibres of love, honour and respect have wrapped themselves around this chord.

This woman has never flinched when I have shared my shadow side. And I have loved her more deeply when she has revealed her darkest secrets.

Last night we experienced the beauty and wonder of the internet. We talked and saw each other through the magic of Skype. In that conversation we laughed, we cried and reconnected with our pets and even shared a cuppa. I adore this lady she is my Goddess of Inspiration and I am extremely fortunate that she is in my life – thank you!

The Moon moves into her most creative and grand house of Leo today. This is a nice balance for the airy Libran Sun. Mercury opposes Uranus today so there could be some erratic or electrically charged communication. Insights and innovation are supported by this alignment so if a way out crazy idea pops into your head write it down immediately. I wonder who thought of Skype or even Facebook for that matter – the possibilities are endless today.

It is a number seven day so time out to reflect is important. Relax in a hot bath or take yourself for a lovely relaxing walk in the fresh air. Yoga and Tai Chi are sublime ways to process the electric energy of the cosmos right now. Take time for you – you deserve it!

I call upon our Archangels and Spirit Guides to show us the way and Archangel Raguel offers support by opening up our hearts. Arguments and conflicts are being resolved. Wouldn’t it be nice?

Hunter of Death

Change, awakening, restoration, new opportunities, breaking old patterns, recognising the end of a phase, leaving outworn paths, transformation

When death creeps into reading clients always cringe. My responses usually filled with excitement. Please let me explain.

Death augurs endings and new beginnings. Clients are often prompted for a reading based on three major categories: love, work/money and health. Of course family and friends comes under the heading of love – love of self or others is the broad category.

Therefore the reasons for my excitement about the appearance of death are that they are subconsciously ready to integrate the concept of ending something related to those three major categories.

The Hunter of Death stalks us as we play in the grounds of the earth school. His focus is time wasting, procrastination and fear. His duty is to escort us from outworn paths.

Speaking of duty, a number six day heralds a day of commitment and responsibility. Sounds sort of boring doesn’t it? Well don’t fret – self care certainly falls under this illustrious banner.

The Moon in Cancer offers a homey and nurturing feel (did someone mention “self care?”). It is the weekend so get up and get busy in the number six vibe and then take the rest of the weekend off – what do you say? Don’t forget to put the “rest” in R&R.

The cycle of life weaves in the magic of transformation: birth, love, death and rebirth. We are in a constant state of flux, weaving in the strands from lessons learned while balancing the light and dark emotional realm.

Our Archangels lovingly support and guide us. Today Archangel Uriel insists that clairaudience is the key to understanding our role in this ever-evolving tapestry. We are urged to notice the loving guidance we hear inside our mind, or from other people.

Can you hear it?

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Shaman of song

Harmony, cleansing the path through song, raining joy, calming agitation, restoration, food of the Spirit, energy, light and awareness of invisible matters

From the earliest times Shamans used the power of song to bring healing to those in need, and to feel their way into the heart of Spirit. I could not imagine my world without music or songs. It seems that they are the life-blood of my existence. Music sometimes soothes my soul, inspires my being and touches the very essence of who I am. Shamans have been aware of the power of song as a potent and effective source for their rituals – we can enjoy this evocative journey too.

Entering a new month on a positive and nurturing note is always an easy transition. The Moon is in Cancer and this means that the scene is set for some self care. Yesterday afternoon I had a massage which was a perfect self care Cancerian act. This afternoon is the dental check up which is great for keeping Saturn and his little pearls of wisdom in check.

Numerologically there is an indicator that the Angels are here. Their support comes in the symbols of 1:1:1 which literally equates to a number three day - a day of communication. Certain number sequences are representations assure us that Angels are supporting and communicating with us. Here is a website that explains a number sequences: http://www.angelscribe.com/1111.html

Archangel Haniel offers passion and advice to follow our renewed passion in our love life and career. Listen with an open heart and mind for the loving support from our angelic realm. All the messages to reveal themselves with guidance via reoccurring symbols from numbers, messages hidden in lyrics and phrase that keep appearing. We are not alone.

Love, Peace and Harmony,
