I am an immortal spiritual being having a temporary experience.
The 50th verse of the Tao Te Ching reminds us:
Between birth and death, three in ten are followers of life; three in ten are followers of death. And men just passing from birth to death also number three in ten.
Why is this so? Because they clutch at life and cling to this passing world
But there is one out of ten, they say, so sure of life that tigers and bulls keep clear. Weapons turn from him on the battlefield, rhinoceroses have no place to horn him, tigers find no place to horn him, and soldiers have no place to thrust their blades.
Why is this so? Be he dwells in the place where death cannot enter.
Realise your essence and you will witness the end without ending.
Happy Valentines everyone! Let’s make Valentines a celebration of our love all year round. We have so much to be grateful for – so many people who make our lives wonderful and magical that we should thank them every day.
I came home from work tonight and who was there to greet me? My loyal and loving dog, Jasmine and I thought to myself, who needs roses one day a year when you can have the love and devotion of one soul every day?
We all have someone who loves us unconditionally. They can be human or beast but they exist I am sure. Take time to say thank you and return the gift of love.
The Moon in Cancer offers a romantic and cosy feel to the day. It is an emotional and loving Moon with a protective wrapping. This is a family oriented Moon and she is shimmering just for you.
Cancerians know how to express their love. They are intuitive, sensitive and in tune with the cycles of the Moon. They are devoted to their families and their inner circle. I am not saying that everyone else isn’t capable of being devoted and loving it’s just that Cancerians are renowned for this sweet and sentimental ambience on Valentines Day.
Numerologically speaking it is an 11/2 day which relates to teaching and learning. The 11 is the master number and the number two aspect relates to partnerships and relationships. So snuggle up with your best friend and enjoy the energy of this splendid day.
Yesterday I went to see “Hereafter” with my Lovie Ducks (aka husband). It was a good movie. I really enjoyed the story and the acting was superb. It thought that it was an interesting genre for Mr. Eastwood (Clint that is) especially at his stage of life. I guess we all come to the place where we consider our mortality. Even so, we are spiritual beings – our existence spans eternity.
Long Live Love!
