“When you arise in the morning think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. Marcus Aurelius
This statement from Marcus Aurelius mirrors my thoughts and feelings this morning. Daffodils stand erect and proud in my tiny garden outside my window. They are brilliant, joyous golden reminders of the poise and determination required to break through icy barriers in the pursuit of their blooming destiny.
This year I’ve planted an array of bulbs and indigenous flowers of the retion. They’ve all responded elegantly. Out of the clay and the brutal surrounds of our native dust bowl their beauty and elegance has emerged.
Their message is clear – we blossom in our natural surroundings. We become the brilliant representations of ourselves when we are planted in perfect conditions.
Today I am grateful for the blessings in my life. This privilege to be alive and breath, think and enjoy but most of all to love. What are your plans for today?
Remember: when you express your creativity in the world, honour your needs you serve the needs of society.
Peace and Love,
