Sunday 10 April 2011

Sun Aries
Moon Cancer

Your intuition is correct. Take action accordingly.

You’re fairly certain of your next move, and you (we – the collective we) pulled this card as additional validation, which will spur you into action. This card confirms that your intuition is accurate, and you can trust it fully.

The joy you feel, knowing that your intuitive feelings are valid, may be tempered by the fear of making life challenges. Heaven wants you to know, however, that all of the details are being taken care of. You’re supported in all ways as long as you ask for help and then accept it as it comes to you in various forms.

It has been almost one week since we planted the “New Moon wishes – intentions”. So have they taken root? Do you like what you see in your garden of hope and plenty? Or are there some weeds growing?

Now is the time of positive reinforcement and acknowledging your efforts (forgiving yourself for your transgressions) and loving where you are in your life. You’ve created this chapter where you now sit and wait for the new sentence to begin. Be positive and see the benefits of these past few pages.

The Moon in Cancer adds a warm and cosy feeling to the day. Cancerian Moon phases are perfect for the weekends – relaxing; indulging; feeding the senses and hanging out with family and friends. It’s a good day to do what you want – when you want to do it – so enjoy!

Before we start to sit back and soak up the Cancerian Moon beams I invite you to consider:

If I new that I had to walk through an agonising emotional transformative phase would I am willing to undertake this challenge?

If I knew that I had to relinquish the security of a situation to reach out beyond my (perceived) limits and leave myself raw and vulnerable, would I let go of the railing?

I have known that I had to live through the dark night of the soul to transcend my fears and limitations, and then would I take the final step into the valley of death (transformation)?

These questions flow around my consciousness each time I am faced with an opportunity to change direction in my life. And my answer is always, “yes I can!”

It’s easy to stay with the “tried and true”. It may be frustrating and or it may be annoying – but we tend to linger longer in the pond of procrastination then we ought.

I am not saying that we all should push off from the side and breaststroke across the pond. What I am suggesting is that timing is everything. And with a flotilla of planets sailing through Aries now is the perfect time to put on your floaties and start padding.

Look! Up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s a, “Yes” flying by!

One last consideration to this journal entry today: We sit in the comfort of our zone of content and gaze in awe and wonder at those who have taken the chance and let go of the railing – why? Why can’t we let go and take a breath and begin our own unique journey across the pond?

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Harlequin's Haven April 2011

Greetings Cosmic Moon Beams,

As I sit here at my computer this morning I can’t believe that I am writing for the April 2011 column.

Oh my goodness! Where has this year gone? It seems as if we are in the Millennium Falcon (after it has cranked up of course!) bumping into planets, racing through the blackness of the unknown.

So how has 2011 transpired for you so far? Have you been knocked off your feet? Are you still standing? Or are you sitting quietly in the corner pondering your next move. Sometimes I think that life is like chess game – win or loose it is a game of skill and concentration. So let’s see what the cosmos has for us in April.

First and foremost we are in the Aries sun phase. This is the official start of the astrological calendar. During this month there may be some first or at the very least new beginnings.

Aries inspires us to by dynamic, initiating, pioneering, decisive and courageous. We tend to be competitive or even hot-headed and perhaps a little selfish during this phase. So think about the impression you are making on others and walk respectfully through the Garden of Eden.

The New Moon is April 4 12: 32am 14 degrees Aries. As I mentioned earlier this is a great time to consider new beginnings. This New Moon will bring confident Jupiter snuggling up to the New Moon. Lady luck will shine on the brave and the willing (pioneering spirit remember). If you take the first step, you’ll find the world conspiring to support you on your next big adventure. A wild and wicked Mars/Uranus conjunction shows that freedom is important, so celebrate your individuality with style.

This is a fertile time to plant intentions for the future especially in relation to:
• Self focus
• Innocence and authenticity
• Self-discovery
• Independence
• Courage
• Disengaging self absorption
• Honesty
• Instincts
• Assertiveness

The Full Moon at April 18 12:43pm is 28 degrees Libra. She is in her diplomatic phase. This Full Moon will bring a new kind of peace to tense situations. Libra loves harmony above all and will fight when justice and equality are on the line. Under the light of the Libra Full Moon, negotiating compromises becomes easier. Communication planet Mercury is retrograde (moving backwards) now, giving you the opportunity to review and revise recent changes. With Mars in the mix, impulsive ideas have potential, so don’t dismiss any ideas that initially see bold.

Other significant planetary alignments in April are:

• Mercury direct, April 23
• Venus in Aries, April 22 – May 15 (hot stuff baby!)
• Mars in Aries, April 2 – May 15
• Neptune in Pisces, April 5 – August 5
• Jupiter is in Aries
• Uranus is in Aries
• Saturn is in Libra

A number four month numerologically speaking leaves with you no time to rest on your laurels. Up off the sofa and busy; busy; busy. This is an excellent month for renovating or repairing. What you have started you can finish now. Build those foundations under you plans – this is a month to get the groove happening, People!

Okay with all of these new beginnings we must remember to close the door. A ten of swords heralds a final ending of a difficult situation. The ending may be painful, but at last the situation is faced truthfully, and a new future with fewer conflicts can begin. Nice

Wolf is our animal totem for April. Have we had this totem before? I think that we have. Anyway, he came to the surface and let’s face it we can’t ignore him, can we? Wolf is the teacher. And here we are in earth school with our new month.

Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who turns the clan to teach and share medicine. Wolf takes one mate for life and is loyal like Dog. If you want to keep company with Wolf you would find an enormous sense of family in the pack, as well as a strong individualistic urge.

The message from Wolf for April is as individualistic as you are. Through your personal journey have you learned a great deal. Wolf encourages us to share our lessons with others. Your intuitive side may also have an answer or teaching for your personal use at this time. As you feel Wolf coming alive within you, you may wish to share your knowledge by writing or lecturing on information that will help others better understand their uniqueness or path in life.

It is the sharing of great truths that the consciousness of humanity will attain new heights. Wolf could also be telling you to seek lonely places that will allow you to see your teacher within. In the aloneness of a power place, devoid of other humans, you may find the true you. Look for teachings no matter where you are. Wolf would not come to you unless you requested the appearance of the tribe’s greatest teacher.

Kali is our Goddess for April. She has begun her dance in your life to tell you it is time to face your fears. All that is lurking ominously, either buried deep in your inner darkness or close by, needs to be stared in the ey or brought into the light of consciousness. Are your fears serving you by warning you about dangerous places, things or people? Or do your fears prevent you from dancing your dance, living your life, creating with Creation.

Kali comes to tell you that your dance is needed as part of the whole Dance of Creation. Wholeness is nurtured when you reclaim the pieces of yourself that you’ve given over to fear. Most fears are formless. By naming and witnessing the fear, you gain power. Wholeness is cret4ed when you learn to acknowledge your fears and walk through them.

I’ve chosen red jasper as our crystal for April. Jasper is known as the “supreme nurturer”. It supports and sustains during times of stress, and brings tranquillity and wholeness. Used in healing, it unifies all aspects fo your life. Jasper reminds people to help each other.

Jasper aligns the chakras and can be used in chakra layouts. Each colour is appropriate to a specific chakra. This stone facilitates shamanic journeys and dream recall. It provides protection and grounds energies and the body. It absorbs negative energy and cleanses and aligns the chakras and the aura. Jasper balances yin and yang and aligns the physical, emotional, and mental bodies with the etheric realm. It clears electromagnetic environmental pollution, including radiation, and aids dowsing.

Psychologically, Jasper imparts determination to all pursuits. It brings the courage to get to grips with problems, assertively, and encourages honest with yourself. It supports during necessary conflict.

Mentally, Jasper aids quick thinking and promotes organisational abilities and seeing projects through. It stimulates the imagination and transforms ideas into action.

Physically, Jasper prolongs sexual pleasure. It supports during prolonged illness or hospitalisation and reenergises the body.

Have a totally awesome and brilliant April!

Love and Peace,

Harles

Healing – Chlorite

I honour my body as a vehicle for the light.

Healing is the process of bringing aspects of our self that are not balanced back into balance again.

Before we can step into the Age of Light, we must integrate all the experiences that reside within our physical being. When we have done this, we can fully experience the clarity of your Light body being anchored on the Earth Plane.

By accepting the healing that Chlorite offers, you can once again experience the beauty of connection to the Divine Source of creation.

Chlorite is for all chakras.

Changes are the theme for our number five day. It’s amazing to me how one phone call can make a difference at the end of the day or the end of the week for that matter. Just when you think your day/week is going through the mill and being churned up and spat out, one person rings you and a million tiny rainbows scatter throughout your soul.

The Moon is in Gemini and this airy, chatty and creative sign will support a weekend of fun and indulgence.

Did we cast our wishes into the fertile landing of our New Moon yesterday? Well, the Gemini Moon will lift them up and take them into a new direction.

Strength is the first card out this morning. Why strength, you might ask? Well, I believe it takes courage to step into a new direction. Comfort zones are exactly that – by putting one foot in front of the other – facing our fears at the entrance of the cave takes courage. Hey I just had a vision – Aladdin standing at the entrance to the cave saying, Open sesame! And it did! I hope it does for you too! To thine self be true!

The High Priestess knows all about courage. She is wise – sure but it is wisdom borne of pain (sound familiar). Her elegance and poise is legendary. Persephone knows that truth about the journey to the edge of darkness. She has ventured far from her comfort zone and brought back untold experiences cloaked in rare and exquisite riches.

The Hermit is a source of inspiration. He shines his golden light on our path. This beam of optimism glows with us all as we navigate the pot holes of uncertainty.

Personally, I’ve felt that this week has been enlightening. Some truths have been painful, explicit perceptions, revealing. Chlorite has the power to heal the tiny fractures in our soul – mend the gaping wounds in our self esteem and take us toward the beauty of Divine Love. Enjoy!

Love, Healing and Divine Love,

34 Days to go – Possibilities

Over the past few days I’ve seen lots of numbers presenting in triple e.g. 111; 222; 333; 555. Today we have a calendar date of 999. Usually the triple or quad presentations are indicators of Angelic communication. I’m not certain what the 999 represents – perhaps I will tell you tomorrow. Ironically, it is day 9 of my detox – how wonderfully spooky!

Number 9 usually suggests empowerment and resolution. However, today’s date is: 9th, 9th month and year 2009 (11/2) = 2 the day calculates as a number two day; the number two is about partnerships and agreements perhaps (even stretching the possibilities here) a day of cooperation and collaboration – how nice?

I feel the blessing of Venus invigorating me with her glittering presence in my spread. She shines like a star dancing in the scattered rainbows across my room. I feel light, bright and breezy. Apollo the Sun God plays his golden harp as the lovers embrace – life is good do not waste a moment.

Peace and Love,

35 Days to go – contentment and peace – Buddha

The intensity of the Aries moon has passed and now the moon has settled into the Venus-ruled Taurean phase. Taurean’s are practical and very sensual people they love good food, pampering – the banquet of life really.

It is a 10/1 day – a day of endings and beginnings. I feel this energy fill my life with the end of the harsh reality of the detox. There have been times over the past week when I’ve really struggled with withdrawal from coffee and giving up some other delectable pleasures – not to mention the headaches – but I have pursued and now I feel good.

Temperance offers an omniscient perspective guiding me above the sea of adversity. She is a beacon of hope. Her poise and elegance is compelling – encouraging me to leave the chaos of my emotions and float with her on an air of tranquillity.

The Moon facilitates creativity. She is representative of the arts. Her presence in my life is the orb of inspiration – encouraging me to honour my creative journey.

The World is my oyster. Venus, Goddess of love, beauty and wealth surrounds me in an abundant garland of riches. My mantra is: I am healthy, wealthy and wise. Her vulnerability captures my imagination and takes me to far away destinations.

The Sun is peeping through my window. The grey, volatiles skies of yesterday have exploded volumes of water and now that the storms have passed we a greeted with clarity. The sky is crystal clear and the view is pristine and fresh. My outer world reflects this current phase of my inner kingdom. The rough and tumble clashes of the internal torment have eased and now I can take a long, deep, cleansing breathe. I feel blessed in many ways and now it is time to rest.

Buddha once said:

Health is the greatest gift,
Contentment the greatest wealth,
Faithfulness the best relationship

These words spoken so long ago are the mantra for my day. I am at peace – I am enjoying the moment. This is the instant of realisation that I am the creator of my world and I am satisfied with my creation.

Peace and Love,

36 Days to go – a long road to hoe

The gentle pitter patter on my window is delightful. This liquid gold is the perfect remedy for the dry and dusty drought ridden alpine region.

It’s a number nice day – a day of empowerment and resolution. Mercury goes retrograde today so it is a time to rethink propositions and carefully consider decisions before acting upon them. It’s funny but I don’t fear this phase instead I respect the backward movement of this tiny planet and capitalise on this time as a reflective period. With my Moon and Jupiter in Gemini in the ninth house I consider the retro-phase as a planning time rather than racing ahead making choices I may one day regret.

It is day VII of the detox and I feel fine – a little like the Beatles song, “baby’s in love with me and I feel fine.” My body is in acceptance mode, there doesn’t seem to be any real nagging complaints. The turmoil of the headache from hell has passed and I have a few strands of cotton-wool floating around in my skull. The benefit right now is the clarity of mind and the energy to get things done.

Yesterday for example I swear I piled three days of tasks into one small day – then went to bed early to linger in the quietness of my room. It was lovely to meditate and focus on my breath, see goals that I am working toward and envisage myself in my new wardrobe of clothes and how I will look.

Prometheus suggests going with the flow. The Universe is supporting this phase of elimination. The Devil stomps in and reminds me of my commitment to re-evaluate my choices – relinquish the bonds of fear and I will be set free. Hermes, my ally facilitates the awareness of my innate abilities and how they will carry me toward my destiny. I have all of the tools necessary to carve out a magical future.

The 42 day quest for detoxification and rejuvenation of my mind, body and spirit is underway. I have stepped over some road bumps and excavated a couple of pot holes but I am confident that I posses essential criteria for navigation and ultimately success. It’s a long road to hoe – but I’ve got the implements to go, go, go!

Peace and Love,

Julia

Hey Prudence

The Moon is in flamboyant Leo can bring a creative spark to the ongoing impasse between Mercury and Saturn. Deals done today could have a far-reaching implication or have a short term fix with a long term impact.

The reflective energy of the number seven day urges caution and solitude – contemplation rather than reaction or aggressive in any of our dealings.

Athena the Goddess of Justice is shrewd and aloof. She knows she has the moral high ground and so there is a lot of room for negotiation – on her terms of course.

The Hermit suggests that it is the perfect day for caution- stepping carefully around the minefield of our daily routine.

The hanged man grunts from the outpost of the tree of life, “give over will you and go with the damn flow! Stop the fussing about the reality of your situation and come and hang with me for a while.”

Death creeps in – such an ominous figure to my morning spread. Why should I see this as a portend of doom? One door closes and another one opens – isn’t that true? And yet we stand there peering out of the door – through the crack of discernment for a glimmer of hope.

The morning, ‘indicators’ are brightened by the entrance of Temperance; she is not buying into the nitty gritty or irrelevance. She takes me to an elevated perspective and focuses my attention on the higher ideals. Give it all you’ve got – the future looks bright beyond the ride.

She’s right you know? No matter what today brings tomorrow is another day. The disappointments of yesterday wash away during the morning ablutions.

Reality check – there is not disappointments only lessons in my “playbook”. This playground of life offers empirical lessons and remedies for scraped knees when you fall from the jungle gym.

Our path maybe littered with dog turds but you don’t have to step in them. You don’t have to pick it up and taste it to know that it is dog turd either.

Today is a day of looking beyond the poo patrol and considering the sun rise beyond the escarpment. Don’t buy into the bad hair days or others and refuse to engage with the moody blues.

Grab my hand and let’s skip down the yellow brick road. Bring your archetypes for a strong – it’s a weird world out there. Life is but a dream. Hey Prudence why don’t you come out to play?

Peace and Love,

Julia Ashton-Sayers
