Harlequin’s Haven for June 2011

Greetings Cosmic Cousins,

June 2011 promises to be a cracker!

We start the month with an eclipse on June 2 at the New Moon. Currently we are in the Gemini Sun phase. Gemini is talkative, knowledgeable, humorous, witty, adaptable, changeable and easily bored. In the Gemini cycle we can experience or witness a lot of duality. So watch this space. We are in for a dazzling ride.

Gemini’s love motion and activity – they love to learn and can be very clever. People often say that Gemini’s have two sides but I am inclined to argue – well haven’t we all? Who is so boring as to live in one dimension – I must apologise for that is my Gemini Moon talking!

The New Moon eclipse on June 2 is at 7:02 am, 12 degrees Gemini. The Gemini New Mon eclipse highlights communication and connection. Ideas flow freely as sharing with like-minded people inspires open discussion. As I’ve mentioned before I am a very curious person and this New Moon is perfect for exploring that aspect of our personality.

On the positive side, this is prime time for new discoveries. Pay attention to the books, mentors or courses that attract your attention.

Caution: don’t go overboard with plans for expansion – while the lure for something new is strong and hard to resist this eclipse is not to the time free fall from the cliff. Keep your feet on the ground but allow your mind to wander.

The New Moon is the most fertile time of the lunar cycle and this New Moon the wishes or intentions should focus on:

• Positive daily interactions
• Calming mental anxiety
• Writing
• Speaking
• The Internet
• Curiosity (already mentioned but duality remember!)
• Mental rapport
• Understanding different options
• Siblings
• School mates
• Roommates
• Ingenuity
• Tact, acceptance, quick thinking
• Having a sociable nature

The Full Moon eclipse June 16, 6:13am, 25 degrees, Sagittarius highlights the balance between truth and trust entwined with faith and fact. The Sun aligns with Mercury and the desire to know what’s what becomes essential to defining our identity. With the Moon and North Node in alignment, trusting your gut is actually the best way forward. Whether you choose safety over adventure – or vice versa – is entirely up to you, but making a conscious choices to honour one approach over the other is important.

Significant planetary movements:

• Mercury in Gemini, June 2 – 16
• Mercury in Cancer, June 17 – July 2
• Venus in Gemini, June 10 – July 4
• Jupiter into Taurus from June 5

June is a number six month and this can be a testing time and your loyalty might be strained more than any other characteristic. Domesticity is the key note and intimate relationships are spotlighted. I would add that it is a month for serious commitment to self and others – just consider the eclipse season and how that can work for you this month.

The Knight of swords in the next cool character in our tarot journey and when the Knight of Swords appears in a spread, it is time for the individual to be prepared for sudden changes, which break apart the ordinary patterns of life.

These changes may be inaugurated by an individual coming into one’s life that possess the quicksilver, fascinating and disruptive qualities of the Dioscuri; or it may take the form of a new idea or vision which erupts from within oneself and which throw ordinary life into disorder for a time. Thus, whether the Knight of Swords appears from without or within, his gift is the ability to move with the changes, and the turbulence which he brings may ultimately lead to a broader vision of life. Quite often this person may be Gemini or has strong Gemini qualities.

Antelope is our animal totem for June. Antelope taught humans to honour gifts sent from Great Mystery, and to avoid indiscriminate destruction of life.

Antelope signifies knowledgeable action. Antelope is a symbol for the antenna of your hair, which attaches you to Great Mystery by its long chords of light. Looking at Antelope, you become aware of your mortality and the short time span you have on this planet. With this in mind, you must act accordingly. Proper action pleases the Great Mystery. Antelope medicine is the knowledge of life’s circle. Knowing of death, Antelope can truly live. Action is the key and essence of living.

Antelope powers have been courted and sharmanised since the dawn of time. Antelope clans have been many, and the power of Antelope is great. Antelope medicine gives you strength of mind and heart, and the ability to take quick and decisive action to get things accomplished.

If you feel stymied, call on Antelope medicine. If you are balled up and twisted in knots, Antelope powers will speak to you of proper action and soon set you free. Many ingenious solutions to problems are whispered by Antelope. Listen, and even more importantly, act. Surround yourself with the illumination and secret knowledge of Antelope. Combine this with action and you will overcome any obstacle or hindrance in your path. If Antelope is your Centring Tree and strong personal medicine, thank Great Spirit. Say what should be said. Your judgement is sound and your actions will be successful.

Our June Goddess is Baba Yaga or Wild Woman. I think that this Goddess will support us as we ride the wild surf of the eclipse season, don’t you? Baba Yaga flies into your life in her mortar to help you nurture wholeness by getting in touch with your wild woman. It is time to reconnect with the natural, the primal and instinctual. It is time to shake out your hair; you body, and shake up your life. Have you banished your wild woman to the dungeon? Have you chained her, muzzled her, caged her, lest people find out you are not nice, neat, and clean? Free her!

You need her. That wild woman is part of your joy part of your vitality, part of your creativity. She is you and you need every part of yourself in order to dance wholeness.

Baba Yaga says it is most important for you to learn to integrate your wild woman because an unintegrated wild woman creates self-destructive behaviour. The wildness is there and needs to be expressed. It is your choice whether to express it creatively or destructively. May I suggest? Creatively should work in this shifting and changing eclipse season.

Our crystal for June should be one that will take the lightning bolts of change and allow them to integrate calmly and in a healing way. Therefore I have chosen, Blue Tourmaline. Tourmaline works quickly to integrate our inner and outer selves. It draws off negative energies and stabilises our tendency to fly off in too many directions at once. Brown Tourmaline is grounding but I feel that Blue Tourmaline will work wonderfully in this Gemini and Sagittarius eclipse season.

Allow the celestial shifts to take you to a place of uncertainty and change. Integrate these changes into your life if you feel comfortable and ready.

May the Universe bless you with many joyful and wonderful experiences in June 2011?

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Harles

Risk

Tuesday 31 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Taurus

Take a risk you have the power within to move mountains.

I love this card! Risk is massively appropriate for the eve of the New Moon eclipse.

What have you got to loose? What if you gave up something/someone for an unknown prospect? Yes this is risk – how will it make your life different if you didn’t do xyz or if I didn’t have ABC?

This is the final slither of the Taurus Moon for May. Sure we are grounded in reality but the eclipse is coming; the eclipse is coming! Instead of being stuck in the pond of procrastination why don’t you flip open your transporter and request, “Beam me up Scottie – I’m ready to explore a new frontier!”

The framework and governance are in place – we have the strategy. It’s time to take a risk and step outside your door. Navigate a new territory. This eclipse is like a V8 engine up your kazoo.

Me, I’ll be working interstate for a couple of days so please read Harlequin’s Haven (http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm ) for an eclipse season update. I’ see you here at Julia’s Journal when I return from another space and time!

Creativity

Monday 30 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Taurus

Express your creativity. Delight in the mystery of your inner muse.

Under the influence of the Taurus Moon phase the past two days have had a rational appeal. Creative solutions are considered as we prepare for the New Moon eclipse in Gemini mid-week.

The Taurus Moon is a powerful reminder that we must make practical choices or statements of intent on future directions. Speak up and say it with enthusiasm – it is the Gemini Sun phase after all!

Creative solutions appear in a number three day – what do you want? You planted the seen two days ago. Yesterday you connected and nurtured those seeds (goals/wishes/intentions) with care. Now as the green shoots appear it is time to celebrate the growth of a new cycle. This plant represents the opportunities for the next cycle.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Passion

Sunday 29 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Taurus

Resurrect a childhood dream. Let your passions take flight!

Where is the passion in your life? Has it dwindled like a tiny flicker or is it like a raging fire?

We are very close to the New Mon eclipse. This week the eclipse will take place in Gemini. This means of course that where Gemini is in your chart then the climatic changes are most likely to happen.

Gemini rules the mind (how we think and what we say – and how we say it). Take your thoughts out to a sacred place and enquire, “is my thinking taking me in the right direction? Do I want to keep going around and in this cycle?”

If the answer is no, then you have the current eclipse to support changing the pattern and move in the direction of your thoughts.

A special note: if you are not moving toward your true path then the eclipse may unceremoniously pick you and take you there.

The Moon is in Taurus today. This Venus-ruled sign focuses our attention toward love and money. What is your thinking around those aspects of your life? Are you the glass half-full or half-empty person?

I see this phase as a celestial tap on the head – assess your outcomes for our previous New Moon and evaluate the result. Do you need to pivot from here? Or are you on track?

Numerologically speaking it is a day to follow your star. On 11/2 day you’re your mind toward the Universal Truth. The mantra for today is, “I have a direct pipeline of wisdom and knowledge from the highest source. As I turn within all the answers I seek are there for the finding.”

Connect to the lightning bolts of change and ignite the passion that will take you toward your dreams.

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Intent

Saturday 28 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Aries

I’M living the dream!

Focus your energy. There is amazing power in a strong intention.

This message has arrived at the perfect time in the numerology cycle. We are at the beginning of a new cycle. It’s time to focus your energy toward the goals and achievements you desire for the next nine days (small steps remember).

It only takes a few short committed days to break a habit and start a fresh lifestyle commitment. Before you know you have broken down years of bad habits or crossed the pond of procrastination.

The Aries Moon loves a fresh start. The enthusiasm and motivation to change directions is strong with this potent lunar phase. We are currently exploring the pull of the dark of the Moon. Emerging realisations and an awareness for change has crept to the surface and now we must decide – what are we going to do about it!

Take a stand and remove yourself from the toxic cycle of procrastination – the choice is yours!

Step into the zone of intention – now is the moment to carve the clay for the model of your life!

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Support

Friday 27 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Aries

Offer your support to someone. Experience the joy of serving others.

The Moon has shifted focus from the twelfth house of unconscious motivations to a more self-oriented perspective of, “it’s all about me!”

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and she is robust, energetic, motivated and very adventurous in the Arian phase.

It’s a number nine day – the day when the philanthropist within loves to enter your life. This entry is about what you can do for others – shine that light into the world, say something surprisingly sweet and follow through with a caring and supportive action.

Friday is a Venus-ruled day! It is perfect for bringing the working week to a close with some degree of civility and graciousness. So if your week has been fractious then take a long healing breath and go ahha!

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Revelation

Thursday 26 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Pisces

Listen to your life. The right path will reveal itself.

Remember the time you took for yourself yesterday? Well how did that work for you? Did you have some internal stirrings beckoning you toward a new and exciting change or challenge?

The unconventional planet, Uranus has touched our lives this week. Plus we’ve had a long visit from the Piscean influence. Today the fog will begin to lift and we have the opportunity to move toward a new era.

When I suggest, “change” as a revelation – I am not implying big changes like leaving your job for a lifestyle shift. Instead I offer tiny droplets of change that will form a babbling brook gently crafting a new stream.

A number eight day promises balance in all things. Lift the shell to your ear and listen to the sound of your life.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Time

Wednesday 25 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Pisces

Schedule a sacred date with yourself. You deserve time for your life.

Time has slipped through my fingers recently. I seem to be losing time or running out of time in this current phase. Today under the Piscean Moon I want to make time to work for me – take time to do the things I want to do for me and work it through in my own good time!

Uranus, planet of sudden changes and the Sun link together to create a space where change is possible so, it’s a fabulous setting for new concepts and ideas to come flashing in – grab a notebook and jot them down – you never know where they could lead you in time.

A number seven day offers the space for meditating or time to focus on your inner world. With all of these cosmic and numerological influences supporting us it is the perfect time to open the window of opportunity for a quiet and timely internal revolution.

Time is on your side.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Gratitude

Tuesday 24 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Pisces

Say thank you! Experience the joy of helping others.

This is a dreamy day with an easy going flow. I’m not talking to Neptune right now but today should be a cosy-kind-of-day.

On the work front comments I have a lot of pressing commitments however I am planning to take them on in calm and centred approach. The curious and communicative Gemini Sun will support any changes that may seem daunting.

A number six day is about commitment and responsibility. Consider the role you play with inspiring the direction of others. Are you being too stodgy? Or are you being flexible and fair?

Wherever this multilayered day may takes you colour it with a sense of gratitude. Say thank you for where you are right now. This is your time to be graceful and proud of your commitments – if you dare!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Playfulness

Monday 23 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Aquarius

Play with a child. Children are your greatest teachers.

I had the chance to play with two of my grandchildren on the weekend. It was a refreshing and joyful experience. The elation has stayed with me over this very challenging period. Honestly their energy and love gave me the surfboard to ride the wave of the Neptunian flood in my fourth house.

Why Neptunian flood? Well last Friday my husband ran between work and home to let workmen into our home to install an electric water heater under the sink. This fixture was to ensure that we had instantaneous hot water ready to pump at the flick of a switch. The unit burst and literally flooded our home.

On the same day, a workman came in to fix the roof on our sunroom. We had paid a considerable amount of money to ensure that we had a rain sensor fitted. Over the past few months this fixture had not performed – in fact it never closed the roof when the rain came – so exasperating.

After the clean up and chaos of the kitchen flood (which is still continuing) we arrived back from our Sydney trip and decided to do our weekly shopping. Leaving our sunroom roof open we felt confident that this had been fixed.

It poured rain and guess what? Yes, you guessed it – another frustrating and disappointing task was not completed properly and our sunroom flooded.

Finally, last night I went to do the dishes – the hot water wasn’t hot! Grrr – bring on the play!

The ideological Aquarian Moon and Sun in Gemini will support me as I resolved these issues today. It’s a number five day so this frustrating phase is about to come to an end!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Connection

Sunday 22 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Aquarius

Connect with some one special. A loved one is a gift to treasure.

The compatibility between the Moon in Aquarius and the Sun in Gemini provides an airy playground for a treasure hunt. In my experience, a connection with a special friend or partner is solid gold. I delight in all of my special relationships. And today the cosmos sets the scene with celestial violins and sweet ambrosia.

A number four platform is a stabilising force to build your dream upon. Brick-by-brick and stone-by-stone stack them high and wide. Keep your structure stable. Progress this framework with deft defying grace and gratitude.

Let the sunshine into the dark and gloomy chambers of your soul and it will enhance the possibilities of a soulful connection.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Clearing

Saturday 21 May 2011

Sun Gemini
Moon Capricorn

Clear the clutter. When in doubt throw it out.

How difficult is this concept for you? Is it difficult to just throw something out? I guess it depends on what it is really, doesn’t it? What if it an attitude or behaviour? Is that easier or more difficult than a piece of clothing to toss away? How easy would it be for you to eliminate the negativity and or the clothing that no longer suits your new path?

Last night when I got home from work I was greeted by a house that was flooded. We had a new hot water service fitted under the sink during the day. After that was done my husband left the house and returned to work. By the time we got home our lounge, dinning, family room, kitchen and guest room was under water – it was distressing to say the least. Since then we have been clearing out the clutter and tossing away some precious memories – it ain’t easy babe!

The Sun moves into the sign of Gemini today. During this calendar month phase there will be an emphasis on communication, doing things in two’s and ther could be twin births. Communication will be the focus though – the desire to solve puzzles and investigate the truth will also be a priority – we are in for some interesting time my friends.

Speaking of priorities, the Capricorn Moon is task oriented. This Saturn-ruled sign is ambitious and dependable. He maintains his stride until he reaches his goal – a nice lunar support for clean up.

A number three day is perfect for short journeys and having a little fun perhaps later in the day?

Love, Peace and Wet Boots,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Love

Friday 20 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Capricorn

Choose love. Let love become a powerful force for change.

It’s all about love today. This note from Cheryl Richardson’s self care cards reminds us tat we are the personification of love. The journey continues on the premise that it’s not just about loving yourself – it’s also key to unlock the door and affirm to the world that you are worthy and a loving human being.

If some part of your soul is hurting through rejection or emotional pain then today is prime target for healing thoughts to penetrate the layers of protection and seek out the root cause of your habits, behaviours and attitudes. The skies are aligned to make this happen so capitalise on the energy of the cosmos.

The Moon in Capricorn brings the working week to an end with focus, determination and diplomacy. I know its Friday but we still need to push it to the limit on the work front.

An 11/2 master day encourages us to step into the limelight. If you’ve been working hard through this cycle then take a bow – if you haven’t then now is the time to imagine how your success will look and feel at the same stage in the next cycle.

Don’t be afraid to strive toward your best and brightest – we all deserve to shine sometimes!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Action

Thursday 19 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Sadge

Take action. The journey to find your lost self begins with one step.

Sagittarius is the cosmic action here. They love to explore new worlds and get out there amongst it. Mercury (mind and mouth) links to Chiron (healing) so when these two get together its time to face your fear and do it anyway. Capitalise on their presence as there are new frontiers to conquer.

Endings and beginnings are the sequence of today’s numerological influence. Do I need to say more? If you haven’t let it go (whatever “it” is) under the recent Scorpio Full Moon then do it now.

Love, Peace and Healing,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Self Love

Wednesday 18 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Sadge

Care your body. Self-love and self-acceptance are the ultimate acts of self-care.

The subject for the day in this cosmic classroom is healing and self-love. There is potential for some deep and profound healing. Mars, Mercury and Venus are all triggering healing planetoid, Chiron. So delve deep and find the tiny aspect of your life that requires healing.

The fiery Sagittarian Moon phase is philosophical about healing. I would suggest that you take your focus off the big picture and instead study your internal scripts. What is your internal dialogue revealing? Listen to your channels of communication – thoughts, words, acts, tone, demeanour – what are they telling you? Take the journey – you’re worth it!

A number nine day offers empowerment through engagement. Step into the light and allow the positive vibration heal the tiny flecks of doubt. This is a day for recognition and truth. Take the best and discard the rest!

Love, Peace and Healing,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Power

Tuesday 17 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Scorpio

Own your power. Every storm brings a fresh new beginning.

How are my little butterflies doing today? The intensity of the Full Moon lingers in our subconscious. She is potent, insistent and downright intimidating. Remember, Scorpio’s rulers are the power brokers of the Zodiac – Mars and Pluto. These guys are unrelenting in their pursuit of transformation and change. Yes, that is how I see them, the “change agents” of the cosmos. So, you can run but you can’t hide from yourself.

It’s a bountiful number eight day – there is an abundance of energy to push the boundaries in the accomplishment sector of your domain. Investing mega watts of energy is a powerful force. But don’t forget to unplug and kick back – fee it when you need it and have a plan to manage the lag with poise and patience.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Achievement

Monday 16 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Scorpio

Chase your dreams. You may be surprised by where they lead you!

We are at the Eve of the Full Moon in Scorpio today. The Moon is Full at 9:08pm AEST (http://www.jestacom.biz/newsite/ezine/harlequin_s_haven.htm ).

It is time to purge the past and prepare for a new direction. Hanging on to past pain only empowers the negativity and the demons who rob your of your happiness. From the caterpillar to the chrysalis and eventually to the rebirth into the magnificent butterfly – you deserve to shine in your world. Become the enchantress and flap your wings in pursuit of your dreams.

The Moon is intense in her house of sex, death and other people’s money (great title for a book, don’t you think?). This is the eighth house of mystery and alchemy. Scorpios are determined and resilient. If their agenda is positive and purposeful then their journey becomes electrifying.

A number seven day holds us in the chrysalis and allows us time to plot our flight path. Consider your plumage. How does achievement look to you? What will you be wearing? What does your demeanour look like? In what way will you become the orator to your odyssey? Meditate on your new phase. Emerge the chrysalis with confidence and beauty.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Relaxation

Sunday 15 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Libra

Allow yourself to be lazy. It’s okay to “do” nothing.

Yes folks this is the plan for today. Yesterday I went into the office to undertake and or complete some tasks and today is a total relaxation day. I have a girlie-gathering this afternoon but other than that, I am “doing” nothing!

The Libran Moon encourages the kick the shoes off and settle back mode. She constantly motivates us to have a balance in all thinks – so tick – job well done – go and relax!

A number six day reminds us that we must take responsibility for our self-care. Push back on the tidal wave of responsibility when it becomes too overwhelming. It’s okay to say, “No thank you!” Remember though it is important to stay engaged and continue to take tiny steps on your true path.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Reflect

Saturday 14 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Libra

Keep your eyes open. Joy lives in small places.

So, let me get this right? We have to reflect with our eyes open? Hardly a challenge, Sweetheart!

No, I know that I am being silly – but still, it is important for us to keep in mind that joy lives in the tiny crevices of our lives.

In my working life, I am focused on the big picture or strategic vision and that is where my focus aligns most of the time. I have to remind myself that it is also important to look at the tiny blessings that make my life worthwhile. For example, yesterday I had a series of meetings, interviews and high priority obligations. I was heading for an overload of my responsibility folder. I had someone invite me for a walk outside the office. At first I said, no, I am far too busy. Then I realised that I had to push away from the big picture stuff to engage with nature. The support of my friend aligned my priorities but rejuvenated my sense of the small and essential blessings to my world. I returned with a fresh focus.

The Moon and Sun are in a Venus-ruled love-fest. It’s okay to be indulgent as long as you ensure a balance of all things. The Moon in Libra is cordial and polite – she is positively charming. This Moon phase precedes the Full Moon in Scorpio on Tuesday evening. Therefore this is an opportune time to weigh up your options for the future and put some strategies in place for improvement or realignment.

A number five day promises to add a little seasoning to the mix – shake it up and stir until smooth and creamy.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Trust

Friday 13 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Virgo

Trust your decisions – march to the beat of your own heart.

Trust is an interesting concept don’t you think? It is an intangible part of our nature – can’t feel it, touch it or even taste it – but we know it is inherent within our personalities.

There have been many times when I’ve known the right direction I should take by the glimmer of hope that lingers somewhere out there on the horizon – and at times I trust in Divine guidance. How does this work in your life?

The Moon in Virgo takes us into the weekend with a prudent perspective. She is discriminating and precise and is devoted to health and well-being. Most Virgos I know embrace holistic health practices and therefore remind us that we must be mindful to honour our mind, body and spirit. That is why I am taking my afternoon off to indulge in a massage and then off to the hairdressers for a freshen.

Have a totally awesome weekend.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Independence

Thursday 12 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Virgo

Decide for yourself. Exercise your right to choose.

A number three day is perfect for you to express yourself. It is a time to radiate joy and express it to others. Bask in the glory of living – don’t stop until you get enough. Throw a party for yourself and allow the essence of this creative number take you into a brave new space.

The Moon in Virgo is not so easily moved by the vibration of the three influences. She is enticed but extremely cautious. Not only is that she not convinced that all of this party time aligns with her priorities. This vibration is in contrast to the orderly stabilising pace of the Virgo tactic.

Mars, the warrior planet of action moves into Taurus today. Strength, focus and endurance are key themes as he pushes us out of his home state of Aries in the next practical step. This shift will be good for our desire and grunt to make some money – he will certainly ensure that we have the persistence to push past the resistance.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Priorities

Wednesday 11 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Virgo

Get your priorities straight. When you know what’s important, saying no gets much easier.

The Moon in Virgo is refined, organised and mindful of her sixth house responsibilities. She is a little fussy sure, but loves her world to be orderly. This lunation reflects the need to have your life organised and structured. I a not saying that we spend the day in the “fussy” zone, what I am saying is that its time to focus on your house of daily rituals and get them in order.

An 11/2 day is a day to shine. Step into the light and take all of the credit for a job well done. You’ve worked really hard to get to this point now its time to take a bow!

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Faith

Tuesday 10 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Leo

Have faith. Faith grows when you act without knowing the end result!

Today heralds new beginnings on the daily numerological cycle. It is time to bring one cycle to a close and start again. We are in between the New Moon (planting) and the Full Moon (reaping) phase so now it is time to invest the effort and sprinkle a little faith to your intentions, dreams and goals.

The Sun in Taurus adds a pragmatic veil to the gregarious Leo Moon. Its okay to show off your talent but make sure that you put in the dance practice and recites your lines.

This planetary support is a wonderful haven for romance and nurturing. We are inclined to be a little creative and relaxed under these golden cosmic influences. Add a sprinkle of faith to this cosmic melting pot and you’ve got a fabulous signature dish.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Retreat – Happy Mother’s Day!

Sunday 8 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Cancer

Take a mini retreat. Listen to the voice of your soul.

The nurturing and cosy Cancerian Moon has a profound effect on the Taurean Sun. She winks and blushes at the Sun diluting his pragmatic air with the wisp of her magical lunar stare.

This alignment is a lovely and possibly romantic setting for Mother’s Day celebrations here in Australia today. It is also the mystical segue for a retreat. If pampering the mind, body or soul is high on your agenda then this cosmic curtain is perfect to escape behind.

A number eight day primarily offers a business focus and that is at the opposite end of the “retreat” spectrum.

I would like to suggest that we consider the eight influences as a day of balance and harmony. Sure it’s Mother’s Day celebrations may be a priority but what about an escape to some forward planning and organising for the coming week? I think that is my current agenda – Mother Celebrations for half the day and then on to a business focus for the afternoon. This will give me the head start I want for the coming working week!

Have fun everyone and celebrate the joy and love of Mothering!

Love, Peace and Harmony,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Nature

Saturday 7 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Cancer

Take a walk. Let the beauty of nature feed your soul.

A number seven day is perfect for relaxing and exploring nature. When our lives are lived in constant pressure of work and the demands of family it is important to spend some time filling our lungs with fresh air. The benefit the being in the Sun for a short time is also incredibly healthy too!

The Cancerian moon is an opposite but compliments the Taurean Sun phase. The watery Moon Maiden feels supported by the strength and endurance of the earthy Taurean rock. These two signs are at home together and this provides a harmonious base for us here on earth.

Wherever you are on this Mother’s Day weekend – enjoy and bask in the bliss of love and nature.

Love, Peace and Happyness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Rejuvenation

Friday 6 May 2011

Sun Taurus
Moon Gemini

Get a good night’s sleep. Rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit.

Our subconscious calls for “rejuvenation” today. At the end of extremely devoted week there are a lot of considerations. The Moon is in her charming and chatty sign of Gemini and this can be rather intoxicating. It is time of self expression and this alone can be rejuvenating.

Rejuvenation is our responsibility so the support of our numerological cycle is to take a look at where we are and make our time in this phase really count. I have plans for rejuvenation and this will be fantastic. For now though the plan is to move into the final working day of the week with a degree of respect and diligence.

Rest and rejuvenation will come this afternoon!

Self respect

Respect yourself – you’re the best judge of what is right!

Continuing on with our positive progress I’ve decided to look to Cheryl Richardson’s “Self Care” cards as an opening to our daily dialogues.

There are 52 cards in the deck and they are focused toward positive and influential messages for our person empowerment and self care. In my view, self-respect is the perfect starting point and obviously the ultimate goal in our evolution and empowerment. There may be situations or people who will try to undermine that goal but it is up to us to pick ourselves up and keep on working toward or maintaining our self- respect. So, are you ready?

My Adelaide trip was exhilarating and exhausting. The outcomes were amazing and I am reminded once again of the engaged and fabulous workplace I’ve landed in. The hardworking dedicated and focused people ensure quality outcomes for our work. I am grateful for this trip and honoured to work with such incredible and generous people!

Love, Peace and Happyness,
