Dreams

Think big! There are unseen forces ready to support your dreams.

A number six day alludes to a period of adjustment. Review your responsibilities. Any that needs taking care of? Are you sticking your nose into other people’s business? Do you owe anything? Now is a time to pay up! Stay at home and enjoy your family. My home is a peaceful haven.

The Moon moves into detail oriented Virgo today. We are at the eve of the full moon (tomorrow morning 3:37am AEST – 10 degrees Virgo). And it is a therefore a good time to consider your responsibilities – to yourself – to others – how is your commitment to your daily routines and rituals. Are you staying on track with your goals regarding health and daily work activities? Only you can decide and only you can bring a conclusion to negative behaviour patterns and wavering from your vision.

The Pisces Sun phase encourages us to dream. Sweet dreams, Baby – how long must I dream? Well, I guess it is all about the “dreaming”. In my view there is only a delicate drawbridge between dreams and reality. So far as I’ve experienced dreams can be so painful that we may opt for the River of Denial. Wherever you are in this analogy then you should take responsibility for your location. The Full Moon may offer a crisis in confidence or reflect a scenario highlighting a significant theme. Don’t adjust the channel – just fine tune your motivation.

The High Priestess has the compass ready. She will navigate us out of the pit of despair. The Hierophant is shrewd and rational. He laments, “Why do you care?” The Hanged Man gazes upward offering salvation and a Neptunian perspective. Temperance is the guiding light that commands us to rise above our current state – if we dare!

Mars is still retrograde and we are feeling the angst of a backward slide. Plans, projects, ideas and goals seem to be lost or scattered on the stairs. Two steps forward and one back are not considered progress by any means. We must be patient a little while longer as the warrior shall return in just a little over a week.

Prepare to strap on the roller skates and bounce with a different beat. March looks interesting – to say the least! Enjoy the last day of February 2010 – it won’t happen again.

Butterfly

I am the caterpillar – ugly, wormy, squirmy, crawling along
No one will love me - Nowhere – I belong
I retreat from mirrors - I do resist
I bask in anonymity and hide under leaves.

I am the cocoon safe alone inside – stay away, I hide
Free from intrusion, probing questions – suffrage is my life
Dispersions and pain - Nothing to gain
‘Forever’ it seems, bludgeoned with criticism and doubt – Do not remain.

Emerging from restriction and fear
I flutter around a sight to be revered
Amassed in colour bright and subdued
Representations of changes yellow and hue
Sweet song of joy – changes embraced
Fear not sweet soul – it is never too late!

“In celebration of the human spirit and those who have the courage to change”

• The Butterfly symbolises transmutation and the Dance of Joy!
• Transformation is inevitable.
• It does not have to be painful or traumatic.
• It can be as joyful and colourful as we wish.

Reconsider a commitment. You have the right to change your mind.

Change and surprise are key themes for the number five day. A positive affirmation would be: “I welcome change and rejoice in the new.” Try to do something different today – be flexible. Change your routine. Promote and advertise yourself or your products. Look at another side of life.

The Moon in Leo offers a creative vibe to the day. There were lots of creative surges over the past week at the Conference I attended. Now, I feel a little drained. The Leo Moon will no doubt pick me up and take me toward a new location or a new well of creativity. Stay tuned and watch this space.

I don’t really want to go into too much detail about the week that was only to say that it was wonderful and hectic. We all had a great time but the work we pushed through brought about phenomenal results. I believe we achieved all of our objectives and I know that the outcomes will bring great results. I am also confident that there will be lots of changes because of the conference – good or bad – change will take place.

Judgement appears as a reminder to shed the expectations of the past – don’t wallow in the disappointment – instead bask in the glory of now. You (we) become vulnerable when stripped of expectations and personal truths. In this phase of release see it as a positive phase of rebirth which highlights the exquisite prospect of a golden future.

The Chariot hauls us forward – get on board or miss your opportunity to move in the grove of all things possible. Don’t be afraid to scream and shout. It’s time to hold on tight to the reigns and allow the movement of time take you (me) in a new direction.

The Hierophant counsels with wise deliberation. The melting of emotion is rife with self abuse. Allow yourself time in the temple of wisdom to full appreciate the beauty of you.

Bask in the golden energy of the Leo lunar phase and sprinkle the golden rays of optimism on the banquet of life.

Ghost Dance

From the bushes we gazed upon the water
Lights dancing in perfect harmony
Beneath the structure of the temple of wisdom
We had trudged very far just to be here.

The lights assembled into a glowing vibrating vision
Wings of brilliance, elongated body, a crane of incredible balance
A ripple below on the water so still
Stars above, emanating from feathered wings so brilliant
We sat trans-focused; what a thrill?

The reflection of the surreal bird mirrored the perfection of self
The journey to the temple has been hell!
Now, the sublime was our reward
Proud we stood assured in our knowledge
When you are open, take risks, you come back to you!
The temple resides within us all
So, don’t feel so glim and live life on a whim
Foundations of lessons and challenges past
Open yourself and find freedom in your heart!

Progress

Charge forward. Be willing to make mistakes.

A number eight day demands that we consider ourselves as powerful and prosperous. Be the executive of your life and affairs. You are connecting at all times to the Universal Intelligence. With the Universe as my partner, I go from success to success. We are the benevolent and director of the Kingdom we’ve created.

The Moon in Taurus supports this numerological theme. Taureans are practical and determined – they can also be focused and goal oriented. With each moon phase we tend to pick up on these qualities and attributes – so consider your goals – re-evaluate and see how you are tracking.

My subconscious choices reveal a theme of movement. Actually, the first card, the Wheel of Fortune has a theme park essence. Prizes are won or lost on the spin of this wheel. Progress may come with two steps forward and one backwards. Ultimately, however there is progress.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you continuously knock your head against a brick wall? You know that you are not making any real progress and yet you (for whatever reason) maintain the status quo and keep up this behaviour. And then a tiny crack appears and a little peep hole – you look through the hole and you can see a bright shinny light and then you say to yourself – well, that wasn’t so difficult after all, now was it?

The High Priestess coaxes us through the dark times. She knows the power of positive thought and recognises the crevice of hope. Don’t be afraid to embrace your dark side – allow the fear and foibles to surfaces – just don’t wallow in the misery for too long. No one likes a whiner!

The Sun glows with all the promises of a sunrise. This is your day – make the most of it – don’t waste a minute. Your life will slip away in an instant. I am forever wishing for the glory of now! What about you?

Life is so short. We seem to waste the seconds and minutes with useless fears and regrets. File them away in a folder of miscellaneous human experiences and bask in the beauty of the moment.

Speaking of the future I am off this week at a conference and won’t be posting any new journal entries. Feel free to delve into the archives and reconnect with the lessons of the past.

See you next week. Before I go here is a poem I wrote when I was seriously over weight. I began the healthy lifestyle commitment with recognising the beauty within and accepting me for who I was. I still love this poem as it reminds me of the power of self love. I hope you like it too!

The Perfect Vehicle for my Soul

I stare and glare at the vision before me. No, not a model or an exquisite sight with hips and thighs just right
The body is soft and round my chins double up and I frown. My smile is honest and my smile wide I am looking at the perfect vehicle for my soul. This vehicle could use some modification, I guess. There are some imperfections that could be gently modified.
However, I would if I could, Hmmmm, I just hesitate! Oh! Maybe I should! Then it would not be a perfect vehicle for my soul. I sigh a while and am gratified with this naked vision splendor before me. Maybe a diet?
I am sure if I try it.
Will it work?
No doubt! I throw back my head and I shout. I like what I see, it is incredible to be Well after all it’s never let me down To get me around, This incredible vehicle for my soul
I gently caress and feel the bliss of my touch on my lips. I slide down to my hips. Well maybe an inch or two to graft and to craft The perfect symbol of woman
To the knees – Oh! Please! Not now, I couldn’t imagine or wouldn’t Envisage a better vehicle for my soul. My mind wonders and I linger longer At the vision staring back at me The comments, the slights on many a restless night
I have tossed and I have turned From venom that has been spurned Rejected from words that don’t belong
To the perfect vehicle for my soul My soul is pure I know this much to be true My heart is strong and I know that I belong. To feel alive, to live and to thrive To celebrate before it is too late The incredible sight on this very night The perfect vehicle for my soul
Visual images display how we should look today. I sigh and I laugh – tee hee, ha ha – no way! For you and me and I am sure that you will agree This is not me and could never be! For we all know we have a long way to go And confidence is truth And to be certain THAT these body’s is the most Wondrous vehicle for our soul!

Peace

Embrace your confusion. Let there be peace in not knowing all the answers.

I look within and receive answers. A number seen day encourages us to look within to find peace and love in our hearts. Listen to our inner soul. Study something spiritual.

It’s Saturday and the Moon is in Taurus therefore prime time to relax and connect with the sensual energies of life. I’m off to the hairdressers and am quite excited about that appointment. I love the feeling of a new “do” from my favourite hairdresser. I feel refreshed and reborn in a way. It is a lovely visit – always.

In the afternoon I am off to the podiatrist for a food check-up so it is maintenance all round today.

I intend to spend some quality time in the garden in between appointments with domestic duties such as washing and the rest sprinkled throughout the day.

The Emperor stirs the fire within – peace and the struggle for soul evolution are dichotomies and keep us in the constant flow of growth and stagnation. There is work to be done – build those bridges and climb the mountains of accomplishment. Don’t be afraid to stand alone and take it to the basket.

The High Priestess guides me out of the darkness. Your time in purgatory is nearly over – hang in there and don’t be afraid to be you. You are special, unique and worthy. Don’t allow the taunts and isolation destroys your confidence. Judas lives in all of us – don’t connect – instead find the love and forgiveness of the God spirit within.

The Lovers a fine – tuned in the ardour of love and harmony. Their love and respect mirror the desire for an incredible life safely wrapped in the cocoon of their sacred union.

The Star says twinkle, twinkle – shine as brightly as you possibly can. Don’t be afraid to step away from the herd and be as brilliant as you can be.

A day filled with the potential of love, peace and harmony – is that so bad? I think not! Bask in the glory of the divine and soak up the sensuality of Venus at play!

The Main Thing about Maine

Maine is nestled in the bosom of my soul
I am glad that I ventured before I got old
I went for a weekend and stayed a lifetime
Senses awakened, bubbling to the surface
Remember the journey back again
The main thing about Maine.

Jaunt of happiness, forget your woes
Touring upward, across, where to go?
Does it matter? I don’t really know!
Only that we are here and oh! So dear
In Love and alive
Fortune smiles upon us as we observe
And drive.
Of course the main thing about Maine is that we
Come neither to a perfect paradise
I know that this is true when I look into your eyes
Take me into fathomless passion and deep within
For we must always go to where we began

Listening

Listen to your wise self. Let you inner compass direct the course of your life.

Today is number six day – adjustment time – commitment and responsibility take precedence over the desire to naff off and have fun. Take a personal inventory. Could you be more polished? Review your diet. Does it need adjusting?

The Moon is in Taurus and the Sun has just stepped into her Neptunian phase. These two signs may be at the opposite end of the spectrum but they blend together nicely.

Taurus, ruled by Venus is a sensual sign; although, Taurus can be very practical and certainly dependable. Slow and steady progress is usually the creed as Taurus makes deliberate steps toward goals.

The Piscean Sun phase brings the mystic out in all of us. We are all influenced by the magic of Neptune. Pisces is highly compatible with Scorpio so this annual return will obviously blend sweetly.

Overall, we will all be caressed by the dreamy Piscean return. Allow the fish to entice the inner poet or mystic and bask in the magic realm.

Death augurs an end, and so the cycle of life. This card can be feared and I view it as just another page turning in my book of life. Actually I see our lives from the perspective of a library. Each book holds many chapters. And Death stamps two significant words, The End.

The Wheel of Fortune phase brings in the great benefactor. Change and growth follow positive seeds cast over fertile ground. Optimism is the fertiliser spray and the new concepts are opportunities taking root.

The Magician casts his wand across the field of dreams. Where will this new adventure take us? Will you change significantly or is this just a tick on your “to do” list? Anything is possible! Believe it or not! You are making your mark with a new and vibrant thread in the tapestry of life.

Listen with your heart. Follow your dreams and move with the changing tide of time. Poseidon demands commitment from your creative life and crack open the shell of resistance and reaches in for the perfect pearl of wisdom.

The Day I got Fired

The day I got fired I went to Maine
Never to remain
under the constraint of oppression and pain.

On my way I dawdled into Norway
Strolled past Poland, went through Paris
Goliath did carry us!
Up the snowy mountains under the ledge
Hey watch that edge.

The day I got fired
I took out my skis I hired
I laughed up and I rolled up and down the ski slopes
On my board
I sat in a restaurant in Portland
Drank fine wine and ate sumptuous lobster

The day I got fired I can celebrate
They think they determined my fate
I jump and I click my heels with glee
In ecstasy I shout I am free, free, free

The day I got fired I did not sit and moan
I did not cry all day on the phone
I took a trip before it’s too late
Because I know that it is fine to celebrate
The right to take a stand, to keep working on my plan
My plan for a better life to come and go as I please
To seek and to find to improve my mind
The day I got fired was an opportunity to finally come back to me

Risk

Take a risk. You have the power within to move mountains.

Change and surprise are the vibe of the day. It’s a number five day so look your best. Really dress up. Get out and look for the new. Positive change is in the air. Today you are free. Expect a good surprise. Do something different. Be flexible. Change your routine. Promote and advertise yourself or your products. I welcome change and rejoice in the new.

The Moon still resides in her go-getter phase of Aries. Aries does not leave anything to chance. Aries is the God of War and he likes to create a little havoc just to stir things up. You know, to see what falls out of the mix. So it is a good idea not to get caught up in anyone else’s bad hair day.

The High Priestess remains calm in the storm. She does not buy into the havoc created by Aries. Her journey is one of accomplishment and rigorous aptitude. She is not a wimp. Instead her arrive back in the world attracts such accolades as – she’s a wonder, Mrs. Sparkle!

Strength encourages inner guile and determination. Don’t give up on your mission for a better situation. Overcome the fragile beast of fear. This current situation is a figment of your imagination. His claws are not real they are talons of further that live beyond the mist of illusion.

The Star primps then poses in her glory. She represents ego and primal drive toward destinations unknown. The adventure lingers out there in the cosmos – too spectacular to reveal itself in the cloudy confusion of reality. Stay tuned. Don’t adjust the dial.

The ebb and flow of my life ushers me in a new realm of possibility. I’m paddling at the shore – enticed by the cool waters of tomorrow. The reality of now is not an awful place – sure there are moments of regret but all in all its’ just a dream.

The clock is ticking – the seconds herald changes that are apparent in this climate. I am not afraid to face the possibility of movement. Instead I await the waves that will sweep me up and carry me onward. I am in the flow. The swirling mass of foam dissipates and I arrive at a tiny speck of land – the ocean laps at the shore but I remain constant, sold and unmoved.

An Exceptional Life

Today we celebrate before it’s too late
The life of someone special
Someone who is a source of inspiration
A leader of our hearts
And not the nation
Someone who has lived an exceptional life

Around here there are no world renowned heroes
Just people who love and are there when the wind blows
Today, tomorrow and always
They love and cherish us we feel so very blessed

An exceptional life has been lived
A person who we consider an icon, a beacon, a cut above
We hold in high esteem because we love and it would seem
A celebration of an exceptional life

Creativity

Express your creativity. Delight in the mystery of your inner muse.

My inner muse is insatiable. She is unrelenting and never satisfied. Just when I feel confident that I have quenched her spirit she erupts and the torrid tantrum of lust and verve begins again.

Waking up before dawn is a delight. I love the beat the sunrise. It’s sort of a competition. In winter it is not really a fair race but in summer greeting the darkness of the sky is a step in the right direction for the day ahead.

Why? You might ask. Well, if I am up this early it feels a little naughty or indulgent. I feel that I have special time with myself to create, write or even moments to think. I feel incredibly blessed on these dark crisp mornings. Well, considering it is summer I am reminded that it does not stay crisp for too long; moments after sunrise the air becomes sticky and warm which is nice too.

It’s a number four day of organisation and productivity. It is time to get up early. Get those chores done. Focus on the tasks and projects that are clogging up your “in tray”. White those letters. Balance the budget. I am organised and productive.

The Moon has moved into the “can do” Aries phase. She is a fiery and impetus lunation. Enough dreaming and lolling about it is time to get moving and push forward. We are still in the mystical mist of Venus and Jupiter so love, romance and friendship linger in the skies but the Aries Moon screams, “move to the beat of your own drum and make your mark and leave a blistering trail.”

Justice promises contracts and legal documents are high on the agenda. Cut away the excess and reveal the bare bones of the truth.

The Wheel of Fortune allows excess but only in the good things that life has to offer.

The Magician encourages us to take the initiative and be proactive in the pursuit of our dreams and ideals. I am the creator of my Universe – there are no mistakes – only lessons.

Lay the foundations for the future. Times change and dreams become rearranged but your truth remains the same.

Love on a Shoestring

Money is not abundant in our relationship
Our bank balance is a joke
However, when I look at you I do not feel so broke
I know that we are rich beyond our wildest dreams
When I hear your scream of laughter and joy
To celebrate the life that is yours and mine
We are living in a gold mine.

Love on a shoestring happens along and does bring creativity and awareness
Happiness inside and out
From this moment forward we celebrate
Because we know there is no need to show the world our brilliant fate
Love on a shoestring works perfectly for us
Because we feel so blessed in our abundant relationship.
Millionaires would reel if they knew how we feel
To see the love, peace and joy
That is here for us to enjoy

Rich beyond our wildest dreams
It hardly seems
To walk with you on this fine day
To stroll, to laugh and to play
Because you are my best friend
I know this to be true
And I know that because of you I am the richest person in the world today
To have the love that I enjoy, today, tomorrow and always

Nature

Take a walk. Let the beauty of nature feed your soul.

Venus and Jupiter conjunct and make a romantic link. The Moon in Pisces brings the romance to our emotions and social life. It’s a number three day and now a few days after the New Moon. Its time to feed/seed the dreams we planted on Sunday.

Communication and fun are important – it’s a day to express you. Love everybody, look beautiful – experience the joy that is in you and radiate it all around. Let your creativity express itself freely.

Its’ also a great day to connect with nature by enjoying your garden, or taking a walk to appreciate the sights and smells in your area - become aware of the influence of the weather – feel the warmth of the Sun or the sensations from the breeze coaxing you into the moment. Allow the subtleties of nature life your energy into a different dimension of awareness.

The Tower is challenged constantly – this is the edifice of our beliefs and values – we are taken to task over our inner drive that motivates us toward our ideals. Fairness and truth ebb out of the cobble stones of our core. What are we fighting for? If it is too hard just walk away and find another playground to frolic in and express your divinity.

The Star sees the light shinning above the spites – the nastiness exists if you keep your head down and your focus is rigid on the torment within. Pandora is brave and righteous in her pursuit – all she wants to know is what’s in the box? Truth. I should think so!

Gaia nurtures me at her bosom. She is our earth mother. Take me into her glorious womb to be reborn. Express the joy of connecting with the world. I am a child, a naive and incomplete being – don’t leave me alone in the world – for it is far too brutal for initiates like me.

I can’t sleep, I can’t breath without you. Can you hear me should through my vacant chamber of misery. I am the ingénue tainted by the layers of the cruel and unforgiving underworld. I’ve been to hell and back – don’t I get some compensation? I am a mere speck on the radar of insignificance.

No, I am special, unique and a rare and beautiful being. The battle of insecurity continues. The cycle of self esteem taunts me with the offering of worthiness and a brutal slap of reality bites into my skin,

I will hide under this tiny flower. No one will find me there?

Please remember me

Please remember me at sunset
Please remember me at sunrise
Please remember me in the winter
Please remember me in the fall

Please remember all the memories
Memories of a life that was above all

Please remember me in the spring
Please remember the summers
Please remember the snow fights
Please remember the highlights

Please remember the laughter
For now and ever after
Please remember most of all
The love in my heart
When we had to part
Please remember me.

Passion

Resurrect a childhood dream. Let your passion take flight.

The Moon in Pisces offers a cup of romance and passion. I believe it is okay (well, actually wonderful) to be passionate about someone. However, I strongly advocate that is even better to be passionate about your dreams.

What is your dream? If you’ve forgotten or filed it away in some storage container then dig it out and dust if off and give a whirl in these McDreamy skies.

Yesterday was wonderful for me – I was taken to coffee by my husband and he brought me the most gorgeous handmade Italian gold pendant. It is truly exquisite. He did not surprise me with something instead he offered me the choice of gift. A much safer option – don’t you think? He did say that he was looking for the perfect gift but felt that a visit to Atlas jewellers would bring a smile to my face for years to come.

We drove back from Sydney in the pouring rain then did the grocery shopping. We had a lamb roast and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We watched a ELO concert (can you believe it?). By the way, where is Jeff Lynne? Anyway after that we had a bubble bath spa and I let your imagination take it from there .

The Fool ushers in the new. The Star glimmers with bold allure. The Chariot takes me far – live life to the full and you won’t be disappointed.

I know it is a work day and a Monday at that but we must continue with the 9-5 while we build our dreams one block at a time. Oh! Yes of course, the passion is the cement that holds it all together.

Have a brilliant Monday!

Crystal Eyes

Crystal eyes, blue and green
I surmise to gaze upon and smile awhile
Dance, dream and I scream
With joy and with love
Far below and above

Crystal eyes bright, alive tonight
Always love does dwell.
Comfort, joy, a dream to tell
Excitement, elation, always patient

Crystal eyes a little weary
Must go on alone and teary
Sparkle like diamonds in the night
Shut once more, NO hold on tight.
Once before, and never again,
Slow to come; always to remain
To love, to bask, to float in the sea
In the land only for you and me
To love, to bask, to float in the sea
In the land only for you and me

Release – Happy Valentines Day!

Have a good cry. Grief is the doorway to your deepest self.

I suppose our affirmation for today is hardly appropriate for one of the most romantic days of the year? With that being sad not all of us are in the most wonderful loving and romantic relationship, are we?

So what do we do with all of this romantic energy? Do we sit and moan and whining that no-one loves us? I guess you can if you want too?

Today is for lovers – that’s true. Those who have love in one context of another? In years past I’ve spent this special day alone and yet not felt the pangs of sadness or regret.

Contemplating love in a myriad of ways is a time honoured ritual. I believe we should start with us – do we love ourselves? Are we respect of the love we have inherent to our existence in the world? Then how do we express this love to our family and friends? Or even our treasured pets? The underpinning concept of love flourishes through us by indulging in the passions that drive us toward our ultimate expression of love.

If you are alone then consider the quest for love as a journey – start with the acknowledgement that you are unique – a rare being – irreplaceable deserving of the best that love and life has to offer. If you are single don’t see it as a punishment or a sad testament to your existence. Instead, may I suggest that you view it as a rite of passage to a new and significant love of self?

The rain on the roof creates an ambience of cosiness. The tin roof of the garage plays a soft lovers tune – romantic notes fill the air as I connect with my pen and journal.

The New Moon in Pisces today imbues the day with an emotional and romantic energy; time to declare the day of St. Valentines as your special day for love.

Today marks the beginning of the year of the Tiger. There will be celebrations around the world marking the shift in signs. We are booked at our favourite Chinese restaurant for dinner tomorrow night to join in the celebrations with the dragon dance.

The Emperor bursts into my reading with his commanding presence. Take it to the top and don’t stop – don’t be afraid to ask for great – you deserve it!

The Tower leans under the pressure of responsibility and regret. Don’t give up on your ideals – they are the light source that drives the evolution of your soul.

The Star is glamorous and intoxicating in her vulnerability – share your scars with the world and you will receive the healing potion of love.

Love is all there is. Love yourself. Love one another – that’s all that matters when you life is in tatters.

Love, Peace and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Rejuvenation

Get good nights sleep. Rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit.

And that is exactly what I did! I have returned home to my family home and I asked for a good nights sleep and voila that’s exactly what I got!

I feel refreshed and rejuvenated and full of energy to start the day. Well, I am going to need it as I am visiting my grandsons today. And that will absorb lots of wonderful Grammy energy.

It’s a number nine day of resolution and conclusion. The day offers empowerment and consolidation. The cycle is coming to an end and we prepare for a new one. Lessons learned? Or has it been an intense exam?

I’ve felt very blessed and at ease this week. The cosmos has been kind and gentle. I feel serene and healed.

On our trip up from Canberra last night we played music from the past such as: The Big Chill, Practical Magic and The Boat that Rocked. It was nostalgic and yet we remained blissfully in the moment.

Even work this week has been a lovely calm and respectful haven. I suppose we all benefit when the planets are in harmony? I hope your week was a healing treasure trove too.

Let’s delve into the subconscious – The Tower is the obelisk filled with our values and beliefs. The rumble of distant thunder may threaten the serenity of our purpose. Lightening bolts may attack the fortress but we shall not be moved.

Hermes, the Magician is creative, communicative and confident. He is a trickster and utilises all of h is tools to create the destiny of dreams. He reminds me of my own special knowledge: the gifts of intuition, creativity and intelligence – pick up the wand, the cup and the sword and enter the magical realm of your dreams. Create the path to your future, Girl.

The Fool walks a new path. He is the adventurer, the bard the enthusiastic minstrel heralding changes that will take me from the stagnant pool of regret into the crystalline lake of possibilities.

Sure tried and true practices are important however when the lessons are done it is time to move on.

Bring on the marching band and step, one, two three.

Have a magical day of love and rejuvenation!

Peace, Love and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Support

Offer your support to someone. Experience the joy of serving others.

A number seven day offers the opportunity to look within. Be still. Read. Meditate. Be open. I look within and receive answers.

The Moon in Capricorn remains focused on career and business outcomes. However, the numerological energy of the day inspires us to hurry up and wait. We are supported by our spirit guidance and the Angelic realm – we are never alone (even though it may feel like it from time to time).

The Sun flashes crimson across a grey and dull canvas. The morning has broken and the birth of a new day heralds a fresh perspective to a very old situation. I am free from the torment that holds me back from moving forward – don’t be afraid to make mistakes for they are lessons couched in stripped pyjamas.

Apollo the Sun God is prominent in my morning spread. Peace, joy and happiness are strummed on his golden harp. Good food and harmony filters through the esoteric sieve. My soul encompasses the blessings of this grand feast. I am encouraged to be still and listen to the sound of my heart beat – I am at peace.

Prometheus chose to sanction his own happiness so we could live a joyful life. Destined for solitude of his alienation he becomes a source of inspiration to spring out of the oppression of discontent and seek a future filled with love and respect.

The Great Benefactor rolls into the immediate future. The Ferris wheel of life is lit up and the music plays. It’s time to march to the beat of your own drum – the rhythm heralds a new phase – a tribute to your resilience.

So many conversations are laced with frustration. We are forced to stay where we are right now to experience the exquisite beauty of the Now! Look around. Look within. What do you see? Now is the perfect moment to showcase your dreams of yesterday!

The Lovers Breath

Over mountains I have trudged
Beyond the storms I have toiled
Swam in seas of treachery and danger
Never to fall to fear or anger

I have searched long and very far
To nestle at the breast of one so true
Nights alone I have felt blue
And all along it was only you.
You I have searched for all my life
To come to you and rest on you
Your touch, your words, your breath

Now I smile and watch the snow
I have come here and nowhere to go
Reborn at last amid the love so vast
To sigh a while and nurture my soul
Return to you and play so bold

Today I gazed into your eyes
What I found in you
The love and comfort, my blessings heard
The touch of my lover’s breath
The love and comfort, my blessings heard
The touch of my lover’s breath

Exquisite love sent from above
Forever thankful of bounties plentiful
A sunrise is the beginning of another day
To me you are my heart’s desire
I dance with delight
And celebrate our love so bright
To come to you, my head on your chest
Your heartbeat sound
And the soft sensation of your breath

Revelation

Listen to your life. The right path will reveal itself.

Take a personal inventory – adjust time if necessary. Group work is favoured. Review your diet. Does it need adjusting? Look at your personality. Could it be more cheerful? Look at your responsibilities. Any that needs taking care of? Do you owe anything? Now is the time to pay up.

Mercury moves into Aquarius today so your mind may tent to track off into many different directions. It’s a Mercury phase where creative possibilities are explored.

Strength represents the courage to face your fears and do it anyway.

Judgement forces you to shed the past and become vulnerable.

The Hanged Man offers solitude on the tree of life.

Temperance is my guiding light through the darkest nights.

Revelation insists that we listen to our lives. What does your inner dialogue reveal about your current phase? What are the conversations you are having with other people? Are they truthful? Or are they trite or just plain, not true?

We create the façade and layer it with the polite responses but are we hiding our true selves? A smile and a nod and a polite, “yes I am fine thank you!” hides a multitude of unexplored tangents. Are we ever brave enough to declare, “you know what, I’m not really that happy!”

Whatever your internal conversations reveal its time to listen to the rhythm of your soul and make honest adjustments to your inner dialogue.

I know we are explicit with our friends. Those who have weathered the emotional storms and stood by us even when life has turned ugly are part of the inner sanctum of the trusted ones. It is with these golden allies that we reveal the tiny crevices of our soul while confident that we won’t be judged.

The Moon in Capricorn insists on honesty and a clear path toward your goals. Pave the way with positive intention. Dreams reveal the direction of your soul. The footprints in the snow clarify the actions. Step lively and take a chance. You’re worth it!

The Rescue

She frolicked and giggled as she swum beneath the surface enjoying the freedom of her realm. Her friends were the dolphins and the whales and life was wet and wild. No one could harm her and no one knew of her existence. She swam and flirted with gay abandon until she realized that while she had the freedom and the fun within the ocean she never knew true love.

How could she miss it? She had never had it. Deep within a secret place in her heart there was an empty place; a place that no one had ever touched and yet she ached for that touch. She longed for the day when he would come, come and rescue me. Rescue me from me and rescue me from the pain of life without you.

Time

Schedule a sacred date with yourself. You desire time for your life.

Change and surprise are on the menus for this number five day. Look your best. Really dress up. Get out and look for the new. Positive change is in the air. Today you are free. Expect a good surprise!

I’m back to Belly Dancing classes tonight. It’s a fun class with lots of giggles and some great exercise too. I adore my teacher and the troupes I dance with are fabulous women – what a treat!

The Moon is in business oriented Capricorn today. I give the impression that Capricorn is all work and no fun but look at Jim Carey – now he is one funny man. Although there was that movie, Nine – now that was pretty dark? I guess if we are looking at movies to describe Capricorn then we could consider Aviator and or Citizen Kane for starters. I have to admit that one of my favourite Capricorns is Denzel Washington – that is one serious Capi!

The Sun is still in Aquarius and the house of friend and social networking is definitely lit up. The Uranian feel is phenomenal. Don’t you think that it is pretty amazing that you can tweet your Prime Minister, favourite politician or even an actor who captivates your imagination? I do. It’s fun and interesting – from my perspective I view this Uranian environment as an online community. It’s great to be alive in the new millennium.

My morning spread reveals a journey of creative pursuits, transformation, surprises and love connections. I guess the creative vibe is not that far from me at all – and being a Scorpio, transformation lingers on the rim of my reality. Surprises don’t pass this way very often as my strong intuitive aspect picks up the chatter on the radar pretty quickly. So, surprises are good then, don’t you think?

The Moon is void of course so goals and plans may be on the go slow – it doesn’t mean that we should stop striving though – it just means that they may take a detour or get bogged down in the swamp.

Tomorrow is another day as we continue on our path. Don’t forget to take some time for you – it is time well spent when you walk, dance or create in your special place – the Nirvana within your soul. Or perhaps you would rather spend the time with your soul mate?

Alchemy of the Soul Mate Connection

When a moon on a cloud cast night
Hung above the tree tops height
You sung of me of some distant past
That made my heart beat strong and fast
Now I know I’m home at last

There are no accidents in this life.
We have connected this time for a reason.
I cannot promise a life without strife.
However, I know for sure this is our season.

Gratitude

Say thank you. Experience the joy of acknowledging others.

Zeus has sent the spites to earth in a chest. Pandora opens the lid and the spites sly out causing havoc in the world. Above the spites an Angel glides and smiles – she says, “where there is life there is hope”. Be gracious and you will overcome your daily fears and troubles.

The Wheel of Fortune and the Sun team up to bring the bounty of a new harvest. Normally, in a reading these two cards appear and it is a sign that there is a new babe on the way. For me right now that is impossible although I did dream about adopting a little girl the other night. Perhaps it is a new project instead?

It is a number four day – time to get up early and go to work. The party is over and we must forge ahead on project, tasks and jobs. I am organised and productive. The work you do today is lasting. I build foundations for tomorrow. I am healthy in body, mind and spirit.

There is a lovely link between Venus and Chiron today. It is a healing connection that the cosmos offers to heal parts of ourselves that have been damaged. Plus it is a nice transition to the Venus and Neptune alignment this week. Love and healing are top of the celestial agenda.

This is alos the find week of the Ox (Chinese astrology). We are heading toward a busy year of the Tiger. So, it is a good idea to get our house in order. What I mean by “house” is you – the temple for your soul.

This is a nurturing phase to offer love and respect to you once acknowledged then off it to others in the form of love and kindness.

Start with gratitude and add the building blocks from the cosmos to the supporting structure. Rebuild and anchor the structure with unconditional love and compassion.

For those who are preparing for St. Valentines this weekend here is a poem for you:

Ecstasy on High
Out of the swirling mass of energy that vibrates throughout the universe they happened upon one another. They knew that the sensation that pulsated throughout their very being was real. A sensation like no other; a herald, an announcement of what was to come; he touched her face and gazed lovingly into her eyes and at that moment she knew deep within her soul that she was going to be satisfied beyond the realms of her heart’s desire. As she maneuvered herself atop of him and felt his energy and love burst inside her body she knew deep within her soul that they were now connected for all eternity and that she was home.

Playfulness

Play with a child. Children are great teachers.

The Moon is in her most philosophical phase. Sagittarius rules the ninth house of long distance travel, higher learning and study. This is a light relief from the intensity of the Scorponic phase – dig deep at your peril – you never know what you might find?

It’s a number three day – party time – laugh and have fun day. Get on the carousel and enjoy the ride! Today is truly a perfect opportunity to express the joy of living. Look beautiful. Feel handsome. Express the joy that is in you and radiate it all around you. The colour is yellow and the jewel is topaz.

The energy of the day sure sounds like fun. The numerological vibe is encouraging us to socialise. Sadge loves to party too. Sagittarians quite often see the quirky side to life. They can trumpet up a party when the mood takes them. They are goo t have around as they don’t tend to take life too seriously – well not all the time anyway.

Last week during the contract exchange debacle I practised the art of detachment. The tension become so excruciating in the power and control vice that I tossed all of the issues (which were out of my control) into a pink balloon and tied a long string to it – floated it up to the sky and cut the string. I allowed the outcome to be determined by the parties involved and released the resolution to the Universe. It was a therapeutic act and one which I enable from t time to time when the need arises.

This act is part of my toolbox of life skills. I’ve popped it in there because as a Scorpio I can get pretty darn intense over matters which invade my logical mind and then seep into my emotional quarry. Of course the worry does not change the outcome and yet I constant seek a strategy to rectify the situation. However if the solution does not work I invest the next step, detachment.

The Chariot pulls me in two directions and yet I am mindful of the burn of the reigns in my hands. The signposts reveal a multitude of destinations unknown – where to from here? I don’t really know!

The Fool offers a new direction – take you kit bag and travel light. Don’t delay – it’s a new day – seek new territories to explore – don’t forget to close the door.

The Lovers won’t travel alone – they are locked in their embrace their heartbeat is synched in perfect harmony.

Enjoy the vibe of this glorious Sun-Day and share your smile with the world.

Peace, Love and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Sumptuous Serena
Provocatively she pouted as she sat poised upon the golden sand. She gazed, amazed at how little effort was required to sparkle and dazzle the passersby. She was not like all the rest, shy and coy. She was here to make her entrance, to take on the world, or at least her corner of the world, on her terms.

Her name was Serena and she knew how to ensnare them. She acted coy and shy, however she enticed them with her wily ways, after all she was a mermaid. Fickle as a pickle she would play all day without a care, “not today” she would say “go away, go away” until the day HE came along, swimming by. It was then her eyes began to twinkle and her fins began to tinkle. She squirmed and tried to pout provocatively hoping he would notice her poise, her eyes and her soul. Now her days of flirtation were but a memory when he smiled at her that way that day.

Connection

Connection with someone special - a loved one is a gift to treasure.

11/2 is a Master Day – a day to follow your inner star. Be the light of the world for the world. You can be greatly inspiring today or you can inspire others. Follow the direction of the pipeline of wisdom from the highest source. Today I sparkle and shine in a quiet and peaceful way.

The Moon pulses in passionate Scorpio and therefore an intense day to follow your inner star. The Sun is still in Aquarius and therefore connection with someone special is important.

Humans are tactile beings. We thrive on connections albeit social interactions or intimate relations. Sure there are times when we like the solitary interludes however overall we are social creatures who love to meet, greet and gather in enclaves to celebrate the joy of living.

The High Priestess knows the power of solitude and the pain of rejection. Persephone was summoned to appear before the Devil to confront her fears, embrace her dark side and learn her lessons. She shares these experiences with us in her quiet repose and wise tutelage. I am a student. I am a devotee. I want to learn from her – and gather the lessons and integrate them into my life. If you live your life in the comfort zone how will you know what you are capable of?

The Fool rushes in where Angels fear to tread. Don’t waste a moment – savour the seconds and the hours will be sublime.

The Hermit is always cautious – don’t tread the path of uncertainty for you shall fall and skin your knee. Anyone got a bandaid?

It’s a Saturn-Day a day to connect or reconnect. I love to reconnect with my home, garden and plants. I am reconnecting with friends from Coffs Harbour who are flying down to see the Exhibition at the National Gallery http://nga.gov.au/Home/Default.cfm to see the Masterpieces from Paris. We will catch up for afternoon tea and then go to the Multi-cultural festival. A nice agenda, don’t you think?

The Sun appeared in all his glory this morning. The rain was refreshing and rejuvenating for the garden and our spirit. Now the Sun offers the golden panacea to brighten the canvas of the day.

Step out of your rut and inspire others with your wisdom, beauty and the essence of you. The world is a better place because you are in it!

Peace, Love and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Return of the Beloved

As he meditated in the cold surroundings he could sense her presence. He knew she was close and had come to him from so far. He strode to the edge of the rocky shelf, took a life enhancing breath and gazed up in to the heavens. She appeared! Bright and surrounded by the white light that enveloped her, protected her and brought her to him. They knew each other immediately, their minds connected and their bodies tingled. He looked at her and ached. He would have stepped off right then and there but alas there was still work to be done. He could not leave just now, he gazed at her on high and promised that they would never part again “our energies will be intertwined for all time” he breathed “you will reside within me” said he.

Love

Choose love. Let your love be a powerful force for change.

Love is a sweet thing. Love of self, love of others – it is the best remedy for what ails our hearts, minds and soul.

It’s time to begin again; the first day of a new cycle. Be the leader today. Trust yourself and your intuition. Be original and creative. Be ambitious. Feel your own power. Be courageous. Anger, stubbornness, impatience or worry may tend to undermine your abilities. Look for the new.

So, what’s new with you? Its’ Friday and the Moon is in Scorpio. Scorpio is intense, pursuit of their goals and dreams. I’m not saying that all Scorpios can be bloody-minded (as I am quite well aware of their reputation in the zodiac). What I am saying is that they can be extremely focused when they want to achieve a goal.

The Devil strolls into my reading today. Keeping in mind that Carl Jung reminds us that the Tarot is the pictures of the subconscious – (a virtual storyboard of our unconscious journey). The Devil offers release from oppression. Oppression can be represented as fear. Sure, it can be the invisible shackles of another person’s control – but most times it is your own fear that something may or may not happen.

Strength represents courage and the force within to conquer your demons. Overcome the battles of torment and you will set yourself free.

Judgement is the release; the organic response of the liberation from your closet torment. Hark the herald angels sing – for you are free.

Rain on my window is a welcomed visitor this morning. Emerging from sleep with the pitter patter of the rain was a mystical greeting. The dry and dusty region has been oppressed by the drought and the rain offers respite.

It is predicted that we will receive quite a payload of heavenly elixir. I am hoping so! I know that there is the multicultural festival this weekend and the rain could interfere with the activities. I’m sure that the heavenly ambrosia will not destroy the enthusiasm though – so come along and celebrate the diversity of our nation.

Love, Peace and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

Journey into the Abyss

She lingered at the edge of sleep knowing that the journey was before her. As dream became her reality she ventured forth to the shore of abyss. What lay before her, she pondered?

Contemplating her voyage she drew the deepest and wondrous breath. Sigh. It is time! Time to go back to the water, time to loll and frolic with the others; time to sing her song in laughter, to celebrate her very existence, she sat upright in readiness; she knew that it was time to go.

Becoming more and more immersed her body tingled with anticipation. She sensed the changes within and felt the changes outside her body. Her thighs trembled with anticipation of the coming. Her back arched and in a moment of sublime pain her life and world changed.

She gazed back over her shoulder, a glimpse of what was. Now as she floated in the soothing and nourishing waters of her kingdom she felt awareness, an inner knowing that she had come home. Daybreak she frolicked with the others and lolled wistfully on the golden sands. This is her time! She felt the sun permeate her skin as a sensuality rushed over her. Now, she could never go back, back from the land of dreams.

Clearing

Clear the clutter. When in doubt, throw it out!

This week has been challenging with lots of difficult and frustrating moments. I think all us have been affected in some way or another?

Decisions made have impacted on people’s lives and that obviously trickles down to all of us – I guess that most important consideration is what have you learned about you?

The Moon in Libra requires balance. Libra loves peace and harmony and is rather astute in their pursuit of goals.

I’ve learned a great deal from my Libran friends – qualities such as: resourcefulness, negotiation skills, discernment and loyalty. These are refreshing in this cut throat world we live in.

Librans love beautiful environments – they seem to gravitate toward serenity rather than choppy waters of uncertainty. When the Moon is in Libra these are some of the qualities we can all consider.

It’s a number nine day of resolution and conclusion. We’ve been through another numerology cycle (starting at one). It’s a good time to reflect and reject – what do you want to take with you into another nine days?

Clearing at this stage of the cycle can be cathartic. Not only that, what remains must be important to your progress.

A number nine day has an artistic feel – so be an artist use your creative talents. A great day for public performances. What you give out will come to you, so give your best – close the chapter tomorrow, you start new then.

Death arrives – yeah, so what? I am not afraid or perturbed – I feel at ease with the end. My solicitor rang last night it seems that everyone has agreed on the commission portions and we can proceed to exchange. So here’s hoping?

The World seduces me into the garland of plenty. Life is bountiful if you count your blessings.

The Chariot is a moving locomotive – taking me toward a new destination. Hop on board – the train is leaving the station.

I’ve spoken with so many people this week who have been in a crunch from the Pluto and Saturn battle star galactica. The fall out has affected many couples and or relationships and this has made people feel uneasy.

In most cases people have gone with the flow and rhythm of life – it’s a powerful beat – the rest are devastated by the fall out. I hope you are flowing nicely and not too discouraged by the lessons learned.

Peace, Love and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

ON DAYS LIKE THESE

On days like these I like to wait
to open my eyes and hesitate
to laugh, to smile to lay in bed
to float and roam around my home
I dare not answer the telephone.

On days like these I like to search
and stare in wonder outside on perch
to sing, to cry to fly on high
a squirrel, a bird, a plane
a sign, I wish to remain.

Within my cosy bed I lie
to create in my head
how I love to be alone
On days like these I feel so prone

to linger a while without a care
to rise before noon I do not dare.
On days like these I contemplate
I ponder and wonder where my fate is
eclipsed within and like a flash
I sigh, I grin and with a dash
I flee with glee upon my knees
above, below and all around
on high in trees down down on the ground
my thoughts alive I blink in wonder just how
magnificent it would be
to enjoy and revel in the blessing of
moments in my life on days like these!

Self love

Care for your body. Self love and self acceptance are the ultimate acts of self care.

A number eight day portends success in business. Ambition stirs within us. It’s time for advancement. Look and act successful. Be an executive. Use good judgement. Do all your financial and legal work. Best day for signing leases or contracts. Success is already yours now!

Mercury is moving over the karmic north node – this alignment encourages us to think things through differently. Relationships are the key in this transit.

The Moon is in the seventh house of relationships and interaction with significant others. The Sun is in Aquarius – the eleventh house of friends and associations. You can see how this melting pot of karmic conversations can brew up nicely into a soul elixir.

Intuitively I knew that Death would be the first card out this morning. I guess even silently commanded its appearance in my morning spread. Bring on the Death card – put an end to this skulduggery.

The World is my oyster and its turning churning – pearls of wisdom appear as magical offerings from the esoteric shadows.

The Hermit is ever-present – watching, guiding – gently nudging me along the path, “watch your step, dear – keep on track and don’t deviate – you will be rewarded for your resilience and adaptability.

We are still navigating the muddy waters of negotiation between the two agents. Fortunately I am not longer connected emotionally. The vibe and excitement has been flushed from my body by the greed and unethical acts. Intuitively, I feel that the matter will proceed but the joy has diminished. Perhaps when the settlement takes place the rush of excitement will begin to surge until then disgust and disdain are my constant companions. For now all I can manage is a big sigh and an animated eye roll.

We’ve had rain in the territory last night. The garden has a tiny coating of dew and the paths are a grey tied dyed colour. I am grateful for the heavenly offering and hope that it is sufficient to keep the dam buoyant for our drinking water.

The Moon in Libra suggests legal matters. Maybe we can see this conveyance move to the next level. My brother asked me last night I’ve run the first agent and I said no, there is nothing I can say that will make me feel better – I’d rather practice self care and self acceptance.

Peace Love and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

RAVEN’S SONG

This morning I saw a Raven on high.
As he flew by with a wink in his eye
He could see the lie
Deep within my soul
Hidden from the world
A moving story about a girl.

A girl with a memory
How she wishes that she could flee
Far above the trees
And soar with the Ravens
Almost touching the heavens.
To sit proudly
And bellow loudly a survivor’s tale
From a childhood lost
It has already cost, far too much.

This morning I heard a Raven’s song
And deep within my heart I did long
To set my spirit free
With all my heart and soul in it.
Above the clouds and life’s oppression
Without a care and little apprehension
To soar above all adversity
With the Raven on wing
And you and me
For the entire world to see!

The End

Action

The journey to find your lost self begins with one step.

I’m fascinated by rhythm; rhythm of the day, the seasons and emotional rhythm. I cannot imagine my life without tapping into that rattle and hum and I can’t imagine what it would be like if I did not record my thoughts and feelings in my journal each day.

The constant flow of life intoxicates me with this beat – the narratives coiled within provide the sheet music and people are the actors. People everywhere – toddlers heading off on new adventures, people avoiding eye contact – stare – not stare – people scanning newspapers other encroaching on passers by with their penetrating voyeurism. People pushing boundaries and stepping into aura and personal space – push a little close and cop a free feel if they time it right.

The stage is crowded - the hum-drum is fever pitched exploded by the shrill of tantrums or lulled by the bliss of lovers whispering their secret dialogue inter-dispersed with eyelashes fluttering timely winks.

Even though we plan and plot – read and navigate our path – even though we integrate the learning from astrology and numerology – we seem to blithely traverse the unchartered corridors of the maze of life.

The impossible becomes possible – the ordinary seeps into the background of a life unlived.

Some people carry the weight of the world on their shoulders.

Some are so animated they light up the night sky with their smile and electrified aura – they whisk you away to imaginary lands on the winkle of their eye – they are fetching – enticing – summoning you to the wonderment of their breath.

It’s a number seven day; the journey within – it is a day that always reveals something – so be aware and not alarmed. Look within and receive the answers. Where will the next step take you? Where does your path lead? Is this your destination or another bus stop beckons on the highway to freedom?

My morning reading explores certain truths; Temperance the detached, philosophical approach. The Moon aligns with the desire to create and perform on the stage of life. And the Chariot stalled at the cross-roads – contemplating the next move.

My conveyance is stalled – the exchange of contacts has been put on hold while the real estate agents (two of them) lobbying for the share the commission. The current agent is being magnanimous however it is the one that we stepped away from wants his share for doing nought. Meanwhile the customer, my husband and me are left carrying the debt and our poor purchaser wants to move in urgently. We are disappointed that the first agent feels entitled to a share of the commission and continues to do everything in his power to hold up the sale.

Last night my husband and I agreed that we are prepared to pull out of the deal and put the property back on the rental market and try again later this year. We will vet all potential purchasers to make sure that they haven not had a conversation with any other agent.

I find this situation ghastly and yet fascinating in some macabre way. I moved to Coffs Harbour some yeas ago to seek solace and find Nirvana and now my exodus has been excruciating. As I release the outcome the scars begin to heal.

Love, Peace and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers

SIREN’S SONG

Bombarding birds swept, screeched and thrust themselves at the ship below. The seas tumultuous, no where to go. Captain tied to the mast, wax stuffed in their ears avoiding the imminent death of the Siren’s song.

Waves crashed the deck
Birds of prey flew into peck
at their bodies, their eyes, wanting them
to die, die, die!

Rowing blind past the rocks
holding on tight chained in their stocks
they worked so hard to avoid the inevitable
destruction, death and damnation.

The Death song surrounded them that day
Their strength, the courage that they displayed
Was true to their souls
for they would not grow old
as they passed into the bosom of the sea
remembered by you and by me
a victim, a hero of the chilling Siren’s Song.
