Accept others the way they are

You cannot change other people. To try to change them is to fit what you want them to be is to be like trying to change a dog into cat, or a cat into a horse. They are what they are, you are what you are.

A 10/1 day augurs endings and beginnings. The end of a cycle can bring a relief and the beginning of another is a recipe for excitement.

The Moon in Gemini titillates the Aries sun – coaxing the fiery warrior to step up and play the game.

There is a Sun/Saturn link today which could see us stepping into the ego-v-authority zone. Having a nice healthy ego is a beneficial trait but if we become too egotistical then we are a danger to ourselves.

I watched P!nk in concert yesterday. I was fascinated by her creativity and versatility. I wanted to know more about her so I Google for some research. I read that she stated in an interview that her relationship with her husband was back on track after she discovered that it wasn’t okay to try and change him. She said that she was working on that as a part of their reconciliation. I suppose we can all learn that lesson, can’t we?

Have you ever found that in an effort to please someone you have changed? I guess a little a little bending or modification is good. But what happens when we loose a sense of ourselves? What if we look in the mirror and can hardly recognise our former self? It’s dangerous to continually change – bending and weaving the essence of you to the commands of another. Respect others for who they are and respect yourself for being you!

Justice does not bend. Athena is stoic in her icy demeanour. Her presence is authoritative and she will not waiver.

The Chariot heralds fast movement above and beyond the chaos of now. Destinations unknown – prepare for the ride of your life.

The World offers the blessings of the Universe. Reach other and take the offerings – you’ve earned them the hard way. You deserve the best today and everyday.

Love, Peace and Happiness,

Julia Ashton-Sayers
