Samaritan

Light – refines your capacity to help those you would prefer to ignore

Shadow – exacting appreciation and recognition for the help you offer

Look for a pattern of going out of your way to help others with no regard for whether they are family, strangers, or even enemies.

As a number nine life path this archetype has been woven into my tapestry. I’ve always felt the need to help, support and guide others. Ultimately I desire to be in a position to facilitate great changes in people’s lives – especially those who dwell in marginalised fractions of society.

While a philosophical path exists for me I find it difficult to cope with the fact that I have little financial wealth to offer at this time. However, I am confident that I will come to a place in my life when this is not a consideration.

Today is a number eight day which facilitates balance and harmony. There is a business; career and public profile focus with the full Moon lunar eclipse in Capricorn tonight at 9:30pm. For those who have staggered on to the wrong path this eclipse can be virtually life changing. For others who have already made the changes this can be a time of extreme potential to break through barriers.

Capricorn is deliberate and yet unrelenting in his pursuit of ambition and goal-focused achievement. It doesn’t matter if it business or pleasure – there is always a plan and a long to do list.

This Full Mon is filled with explosive potential. The stars of the show are Capricorn and Cancer. Of course the energy will play out on an individual level too which will ultimately impact on all of us in some respect.

The Hanged man encourages us to see beyond the illusion of now – look for the subtleties and seek the Utopian world of your hearts desire.

The Empress grunts and groans as she waits for the bairn to arrive – it’s not time yet so sit quietly and breathe.

The Hierophant is my hero with this quiet and intelligent demeanour. He will not be rocked off his throne as he knows that worry and angst are a waste of energy. He whispers, “change from the inside out and be the Samaritan”.

Of course there are famous Samaritans – people who come to mind like Mary Mackillop (http://www.marymackillop.org.au/) , Mother Theresa and Ghandi. That was their destiny – to share their light with the world. Our deeds may not be as revered but we can still make a difference in our own unique way.

Love, Peace and Light,

Julia Ashton-Sayers
